With that battery and that power transistor you'll get about 10 watts bro. Still a nice little project but saying it's 100 watts is crazy. Might be able to pull 4 volts out of that battery on a full charge and get maybe 12 watts max.

@@johnruscigno5738 yeah, even 10 Watts is impossible. It's class A so only 25% efficiency max. If you calculate 4Vx25A=100W then that would be 100% efficient and that simply does not exist. Also output power ist calculated a bit different, I think, because audio signals are alternating current. It's U(out [RMS]) squared, divided by load impedance. So, we need to know output voltage swing peak-peak or RMS to get the true power. And you never get a swing as high as supply Voltage. Let's assume a U(out) of .8V, that's quite high for that type of amp. So, .8V² / 4Ohm load = 160mW. Wow, quite high...

100w at 3.7v means 30 amps 😂
That's a Darlington not Mosfet.
A class A amplifier (your's) has 30% efficiency and a power consumption on idle (no signal) too big to even think of powering it from batteries.
If a transistor has a rating power of 100W this doesn't mean it will deliver it no matter what.
Oh yes, and you wired the speaker wrong. The red insulating ring means +.

No el trancistor 5200 te puede entregar una potencia de 100w pero necesitas todo una etapa inpulsora para sacarles los 100w con 3 vts no haces mucho mínimos para sacarle los 100 w tendrías que tener 36 v y su otra etapa

Eu fiz um desse com um transistor grande de fonte e funcionou em 5v com uns chiados mas en 12v funcionou muito bem, o problema é que o alto falante fica estufado dá pra arrumar isso com um capacitor de 1000uf mas o problema é que o capacitor esquenta. Tem algum jeito de eu cortar a corrente DC do alto falante que não reduza os graves ou agudos?
