I also completed the last level but didn’t make it to the exit! For 30 years I’ve wondered what happened next!! Still got the console in the loft. So pleased you put this video on. The last level just keeps replaying!! Ha!! I always intended to give it another go. Thanks so much
Very impressive. My brother played that game once and made it to the lamp level. I am happy to see someone who made it to the top level. If you ever played another Intellivision and push it to the top, please post it on TH-cam. It is always a pleasure to watch.
I remember this was so hard to play...the character controlled moved really fast and was difficult to render completely still especially with the intellivision game controllers (a disc)...moving around in the maze you almost had to make a turn before the character arrived at the actual turn, plus figuring out how to use the locks were added to the craziness. It was a blast...those days
Wow! That was some pretty impressive gameplay. I can't imagine how you pulled that off with an Intellivision directional disc controller. Hat's off my friend. That was a clinic on Lock'N Chase gameplay for the Intellivision.
Never knew there was a final level. I always got bored with the game and moved onto Advanced Dungeons and Dragons or Night Stalker. The best games made for Intellivision!
I had this "console" and when it was too hot (yes the console was 50 C degree or more) the game has started doing fool things the main character started to "fly" and I collected tons of points like 1 million. Had anybody the same problem?
When you go through the doors on the left or right, if you push up and down quickly, sometimes your character will appear outside the maze. For some reason this causes the score to increase very rapidly if you go up near the top of the screen. It has nothing to do with the temperature of your console.
What do I like about this video game anyway? Mattel Electronics Intellevision has owned this arcade game lock and chase. The thief looks the same as the he/she did in the original arcade game machine version: the objects the thief grabs look different: so does the maize. It has the same pattern and color. The only thing different is the 4 guards, who try to catch this thief. This video game also has most of the same sounds. 🌽 😳

Really terrific game play here. L&C was a great game and I still have it.

Top notch play, sir!
I enjoyed watching the video and read the comments!
Idk if there was actually a difference in the guys, but the purple guy always was the one to get me.
This guy is like the Holy Daddy Elite... of Lock N Chase
Awesome Dude
You are the best player in the world!
I think I hit 60,000 and THAT was hard. Nice job.
