Very good comparison I thought I had the heavy sixer but sadly I don't it's the light but I did get it for free so it's not a total bust thanks for clarifying when I read Sunnydale California on the label I thought owe boy then I did some research and found out they made the light sixer in Sunnydale as well, but after cleaning I have an Atari with the original box two sets of controllers in original box as well for free not a bad deal
I too have a light sixer. They're still good solid machines, though I intend to mod mine. Firstly, the power plug using an exposed jack is on the more dangerous side. I may do something about that. Secondly, I think I'll cut the RF cable and install a jack so that cord can actually be removed. I do have to admit I like the curve on the front of the heavy though.
Some heavies are made in Taiwan and I think Hong Kong. And some lights were made in Sunnyvale.
Thank you for explaining the differences!

Medium sixer? Never heard of that before. Light Sixer is the term collectors have used for decades.
