This felt like classic TNG Riker and Worf beaming over on away mission.Riker gives his jokes.. my ❤
What disturbs me is the fact that we have at least three items from the 23rd Century that all have some sort of connection to each other. The Genesis Device, a (genetically modified) tribble, and the body of Admiral James T. Kirk. I wouldn't be surprised if Section 31 somehow found a way into the Kelvin Timeline and played Grave Robber with Spock's body, too, and have been doing more or less the same with many of Starfleet's most famous heroes, from Kirk and Spock(?) to Fleet Admiral Jonathan Archer himself. I still love the fact that Daystrom Station is just so spooky. It's like Return to Castle Wolfenstein mixed with Aliens

Makes you wonder if they went back to Talos IV to get Christopher Pike's body after he eventually died?
@@saveus227 as much as I'd like to think otherwise, we all know Section 31 would, and most likely has paid a visit to Talos IV to take Pike's body. Though I also believe that doing so has come with a lot of pushback from the Talosians. Sure, Section 31 has the body of Captain Christopher Pike alongside the likes of Kirk, Spock, Picard and Archer, but the Talosians made sure that Section 31 had to pay an equal price for it, or as a certain pipsqueak alchemist would call it, "an equivalent exchange."
Given how mysterious and powerful the Talosians are, possibly rivaling even the Q Continuum, it's entirely possible that the Talosians were also responsible for showing Section 31 how to access the Kelvin Timeline to retrieve the body of Spock, and perhaps even take notes on the technology of this reality's Starfleet and their allies and enemies alike

To be fair to Worf anyone would be taken aback being surprised by something that looks like a tribble crossed with a lamprey and a face hugger!
1 tribble would be an annoyance. feed them and you've got an invasion.
I think of Tribbles the same way I think of mice, they're cute but I wouldn't want one in my home.

Also, it will be exactly 312 years at the time of this posting before Will is born :D

Part of Daystrom looks like Yosemite Station (sort of)in Star Trek Enterprise. The ones the Xindi destroyed enroute to earth.

Worf is my favorite character in season 3. What they did with his character, along with his acting, was brilliant on so many levels.

More like a black eye considering that it was their computer that caused the whole incident to be sealed away. And as the new head of Section 31 following the Discovery’s final departure knows what Control had tried to do we can be sure that he made it clear that Section 31 was not to make a repeat mistake.

Was I the only one who heard Data say 'Thank you' after worf put the security key in? There were a bunch of thank you's and the last or second last one sounded like data. Time stamp is 1:44 ish.

@@travis8850 I guess it's sort of like the NSA and Area 51, which used to be so secret their existence wasn't acknowledged, but eventually they were both so obvious it was silly to keep denying because the fake mystery was actually drawing more attention.

I’m loving this series cinematically. But I can’t get over that they’re throwing so many Easter eggs at us, and it disguises the plot holes.
No people or security in the base that contains your biggest secrets? It’s security is two ships which patrol every hour?
Starfleet ordering ALL its vessels to assemble in one place? I’m sure the federation council or border worlds giving that the ok.
But hey, I’m sure the next episode will have a million Easter eggs that we’ll go wow.

@@CrankyDoodleDandy I'm thinking the changing influence might have something to do with their inadequacy it seems intentional. As for Section 31 I think the DS9 crew would have done everything to expose them, especially the attempted genocide on the founders
PIcard Season 3 is really good but they made the starship scenes SO DARK!!! A real Navy vessel or a real NASA vessel is never that dark. The ISS is brightly lit. 😞
