- Dr. Teresa Green provides instructions for her patients only to use the NMES setting for the neck. She provides tips and directions on how to use this home EMS unit for neck or back pain management.
I am oh so great full for to you. My Dr's suck they really are not helping me much just kinda throughing stuff at me and not explain how to use any of it. So I got this in the mail one day and I was so overwhelmed how to use it cuz I have many learning disabilities, prossesing disorders etc... reading all the books was not computing. Life saver!
I've had my Zynex for probably a year and I love it. I use it a lot for on the muscles on the back of my neck and the scapula muscles. It is such a nice unit. Its so much beter and than the TENS I used have and it works a lot better, thus I tend to use more.
God bless you for making this video. After a few years, I needed to use my device again, and you saved me by reminding me. Thank you very much for the help.
You're welcome! So kind of you to take the time to say thank you!
how is this different from Stims? I have l5/s1 that causes hip/piraform tightness@@alignedchiropractic8915
Does it matter what side of the device that you plug the gray and black lead wires into?
Their website doesn't give the price 😞
This unit must be prescribed by your health care provider. You can not simply purchase it, hence no pricing. It is not a direct to consumer product. Hope this helps.
@@alignedchiropractic8915 thank you. Appreciated.
I just bought one, paid myself, no insurance, it was $250.
their tens machine doesn't do anything
Is this good for degenerative discs in my back?
Hi Mike,
I made this video for the patients who I have physically examined and are under my care. EMS and TENS do not heal degenerative discs. It might help manage the pain affiliated with this conditions, but a course of chiropractic care might eliminate the need for this tool.
You might consider seeking care from a local chiropractor. I might suggest one who can educate you on the home use of the Pettibon wobble chair and or Cox-Flexion Distraction. Those tools/techniques are able to help degenerative discs heal or improve.
How do u use yours I’m trying to learn which setting do u put yours on
Can you use this device as a vagus nerve stimulator?
Hi Lisa,
I made this instructional video for my patients. I do not perform vagus nerve stimulation as one of my treatment options.
they fired me for no reason.....
its a profit source for the clinics. they bill it.
immoral company
I am sorry to hear that. I do not work for Zynex. I am an independent chiropractor.
I have long hair and if I have hair on the back of my neck the pads will not stick well, so I shave the back of my neck. It makes it so much better for the pads. I've spaced out a few times and and didn't turn the unit off and it was a uncomfortable experience. Yes, I think it took me three times to finally learn. LOL!
Thank you ❤
I want to thank you so much for your video out of all the videos I watched yours was the best I was scared to death to use this unit didn’t know what it would do to me but with your help it was perfect thank you again you have a absolutely excellent video!
It works really well. The only issue I have with it is that I'm mostly blind and trying to connect the cables to the TENS unit was really hard for me (ligning up and stuff). Bought a whole bunch of electrodes. I was wondering if they made something that could like wrap around and latch together with the cord attached, like those bands for your back.
physical clinic bill it like its crack
Does the zynex increase muscle mass on the muscle you are using it on. That’s how it feels to me
You would need to ask the provider who prescribed the unit or call Zynex. I have no information on your condition or the setting you use.
this company is bad
I want my unit to stay on continuously ! “”””Not pulsating as this doesn’t help my pain at all!””””
I have the older Tens unit and that one stays on plus easy to use.
I’m dealing with 3 titanium screws in my SI JOINT, which need to be removed ,and replaced.
No matter ~~~I want continuous pulse as I said. So far I’m not getting info for this new Tens unit. I even called, but need to call them back.
I would call Zynex. This unit has a TENS setting that should run continuously, but maybe you are using either IFC or NMES? I can't advise patients that are not under my care.
And what device would you recommend for polyneuropathy in the legs, under the toes and feet?
Hi mam
What about for sciatic pain? I don’t know what to set it on
I am sorry to hear about your pain. I can't direct you on this one, as the pain down the back of the leg can be for many reasons. I suggest you return to the the doctor who prescribed it for you and get pad placement and best setting directions. I made this video specifically for my patients as a reference to use after in person training. There are reasons the use each setting and only a doctor with your health history should guide you on this one. Good luck
Excellent video for your patients and the rest of us. Thank you!
