This is surprisingly fun to watch! I would love to see a FULL cleaning vid with how you take off all the mud after you've washed them with your brush or if you do take off any stone at all. Great work Emmmmmmmaroooooooooo!!!!
Two, I have to find .. they are beautiful specimens.. my last real good find on my first visit to a ,jurassic coastline, was 3 fragmented mammoth teeth ! So I'm looking for bigger now , hope you are fine and hope the dremmel is going good!!
Yes, I enjoyed this. Enjoyed the specimens AND the excitement you show when showing them off and explaining about them. Video from the field is great as well. Don't think we have seen your mud hole yet. Sounds like it's much more comfortable than the rainy rock pile you were in recently.
Are you ever concerned that they are to fragile to be soaked? How would I clean them to not just melt away? We are in Texas and mine are very soft and covered in sediment and other small shells and crystallize fossils.
Wow......these cleaned up really nicely 👍. Admittedly I started off seeing you in the clothing haul videos and of course they're lovely too.. I am a bloke after all 🕺🏻But this stuff really has a different wow factor, though I'm not gonna compare the gorgeous clothing clips vs funky fossil factor for wows...hahaha.. Thanks for showing these vids your an interesting lady.
I'm a geek so I like the science and details. Explanation would be great. Maybe create little series based on the hunt from digging to display with all the interesting information in the middle.
I don't know about the other males in your audience but I know for a fact that I need a cold shower now ... having experience some major uplift in the south I now realize I'm not the old fossil that I thought I was ... now I need to wash off some of that "dirty old man" out of my system ! PS: I found a fossilized Nautilus amongst other fossils in a farmers field in Wiltshire once [it's now a housing estate] but it wasn't very big [none of them were] ... do you think they utilized a kind of "nursery" system as a species ?
I think I listened to the sound of the mud breaking in the water but could be just my imagination. I have some coral from Mexico but do not know how to clean it. Any suggestion?
I’m very new to this and recently came back from Jurassic coast adventure. Sadly though, I have put mine in a tub to clean and soak, but they have all got more dirty and some have broken apart :( Any tips on how to prevent this?
Hey, great video, you've earned a new subscriber, where did you find these fossils, and where do you normally hunt. I live in London, so only get to really hunt on family holidays, if we are lucky enough to go to a decent beach!
Great video, your very informative . is there a way to polish them or is a good cleaning and a coat of grout sealer better?! I found one about the size of my truck tire. And by the way YOU are smoking HOT🌹 keep doing what your doing🎯 G.
You can slice the ammonite in half and polish the flat side or you can clean up the ammonite and then add a varnish to the surface, apart from that im not 100% sure! aww thank you very much :)
Excellent advice, I'll send you a few pictures when i get done, may take me awhile tho its a pretty big one🗿. Gorgeous AND smart.....yeowza!!!😎 G. College Station tx.
Haha we will never run out luckily 😉 as long as fossil rich coastlines are being eroded by the sea there is no reason for them to ever run out! 😍 Us fossil hunters are simply saving them before the sea destroys them ☺️
@@EmGems I approve of this perspective but now I'm worried about coastlines eroding and we'll all have no land to live on eventually. At the same time good work. Make a pitch to a publisher to write a book on fossils -- young, attractive & social media savvy this is what publishers like x
Why is prepping so satisfying? It totally hacks my neat freak node...

Great video. Aprons will keep you dry.

Hello Emma. I'm late watching this. Can you do a video on how ammonites are formed? When did you become interested in fossils?

I really did enjoy 😊
new sub...you are stunning and your fossils are awesome. cheers from 🇦🇺
I am intensely jealous, but so happy for you! I absolutely must make a trip someday to the Jurassic Coast. I live across the pond in NJ, USA.
Thanks for sharing - good information!

The coastline near Charmouth is known as "Jurassic Coast" because of all the fossils found at the beach.
NICE HOBBIE I LOVE FOSSILIS TOO. THANKS SO MUCH
I wish I had a fossilized nautilus; I’ve been wanting one for a long while
You can find then on some fields in Ilminster.
Is it from Ilminster? There on the fields I found some guys like these!

Hi, how can i clean fossilized calcareous shells that are covered with calcareous material😢
I’m very new to this and recently came back from Jurassic coast adventure. Sadly though, I have put mine in a tub to clean and soak, but they have all got more dirty and some have broken apart :(

Amazig Ammonite and Nautilus fossils. :)

____________________ nice fossils and well done :-) __________________________
How come there's so many of these fossils where you go ?
Do you tumble anything? I'm trying, but its difficult...
I've never tried tumbling before so don't know much about it, sorry ❤️
Langka antik LG aku suka
You need a fossil jacuzzie
Is it okay to leave my fossil in the water for a few hours? Will it have any negative effect to it?
Depending on how fragile the fossil is, but with robust fossils I wouldn't have thought a few hours would affect them 😊
Em Gems I found a ammonite fossil and the size of it is pretty big . But thank you for the reply
I like your fossil tattoo on your wrist.
Fossil Haul
Way bigger than you think

have they ever found AMAZING dinosaur fossils in England? I'm feeling sad because maybe we didn't have the best dinosaurs?
Maybe I should do a video on the dinosaurs found in England ☺️
@@EmGems yes! you must.
@@EmGems i would enjoy that as well.
"just fossil hunt" she says before she has to get 37 back surgeries at age 41.
soak my lime stone fossils with trilobites
