- A compilation of all Ozpin's moments in RWBY Volume 8. I'm sure the "Only When Ozpin Speaks" video will come out soon on I'mStrange's channel, but this one includes when he's onscreen but not talking. Basically, whenever he is visible and/or audible! Wanted to put 'em all together to compare with "Only When Oscar Speaks" because if you know this channel you KNOW I hyperanalyze those two :P Gotta document the merge somehow! And hoo boy does this show how much Oz has changed. Seriously, go rewatch Volume 5 and tell me v5 Oz feels like the same person as v8 Oz. (I mean, he IS the same character, that's how character development works, but still! It's downright unnerving to watch v5 Oz after v8). The voice and movements have changed so much...
I'll go off about how the voice acting and animation of both Oscar and Ozpin this volume have used subtle details to show the progression of the merge on both of their ends in another video though XD
I do not own any of the footage or audio! This is all from RoosterTeeth. Music is Ozpin's leitmotif used in Volume 5.

Oh my goodness that is so nice of you to link the stream over here.... I've been listening to so many reviews while driving lately of the various volumes.... and yes a lot of my speculation of Oscar/Oz is from some of your speculation😋
4:35 after all the shit that's happened, I'm surprised at myself how much I actually missed Ozpin talking through Oscar. The calmness, the regret, the little hope he has left, I hear it all as he talk, its actually comforting, and I'm so glad he's back.

I love that 'oh no ambrosius' like Ozpin really thought they accounted for everything against the genie of RWBY
Literally the only time this entire volume where he sounds like his old self with no/almost no Oscar influence is "I'd like to express again." Everything else has some level of mixing the two voices, and multiple times he just gay-up sounds like Oscar, to the point where a lot of the FNDM was fooled about who was in control. Oscar also has some moments where he sounds almost identical to Oz, but you can check out I'mStrange's video compilation of Oscar's lines for those :)

@@planetbandit2198 you're not the only one!! I thought it was Oz, but tumblr kept tagging it with Oscar so it made me question everything. But now after hearing Oscar in chapter 10, it's EVEN HARDER to distinguish that moment as Ozpin (but it is). The one that tricked me was in chapter 12 with "The Staff of Creation" cause he sounded just like when Oscar said it in v7ch7
It's like Ozpin's life is going back in his voice. If that's the case, I won't be able to stop myself from crying.

@@HyperfixationStation because there’s been so much stugggle with Oscar not wanting to merge with Oz and so Oz saying that he’s doing fine without merging or asking for advice is reassuring

Right?? That look could cut glass. Oz and Oscar are so sassy and man is Oscar's face great for it! I also wonder who the last ozcarnation to meet Salem was? She said "how many years has it been since we saw each other like this, face to face?" so maybe they've had contact otherwise, but has it really been THAT long? I feel like they HAVE to have butted heads at some point, but Salem seems to say it's been a very long time, and for an immortal, that must be serious. Meaning this might've been Ozpin's first time meeting her as well...

OH yeah, I'm hyperfixated as HECK so there's likely to be more! Especially since I have new findings and hints and thoughts, and some of my interpretations have changed. Who knows when I'll actually get around to it, but your encouragement gives me an excuse! I worry I'm being annoying with so much Ozcar/Ozmosis content :P But hey, if no one else is gonna make it, I will!

@@samanthabaker8711 it's going alright! I keep alternating between writing scripts, editing, and writing my fic, so I haven't been posting as much as I'd like. I recorded a review of Risk the other day and it wound up being 3 hours long so... might have to redo it or just edit waaaay down cause I don't think anyone wants to hear another hour of my opinions XD
