I lived in Darwin in the early 70’s - a totally awesome place and awesome people. Then “Tracy” happened and in the re-build, (in my opinion) the whole character of the town and people changed. Lasted it out for about 9 months and then decided to leave - never been back (too many good memories I don’t want spoiled 👍). Love your videos of Outback travel (did a lot myself in my youth) and also those spectacular scenes in the snow in “UnZud”.

I got attacked by Midges once, Holy Crap them little bastards pack a sting, and not just the initial bite but the two weeks of scratching that followed! Hope you call into Karumba Molly, me and three mates did a bike trip from Newcastle to Karumba a few years ago. Loved it. Keep up the great videos!
The Mindil markets are so cool, great food and artifacts there,and live music followed by a magnificent sunset where so many sit on the beach to view.

In the video, during a drone shot, there looked liked some type of barrier going from the beach into the water. Do you know what that was? Around the 4 min mark.

Speaking of Perth they have a little breakfast Cafe there that overlooks the beach. It's sits atop a high high sand cliff that has incredible views. I loved it when I was there.

Wow at 13:42 what a beautiful camera shot. I enjoyed Darwin when I was on temp duty in the (US)Air force in the 90's at the Royal Australia Air Base.. We hung out a lot at Babylon Spirits bar.I think it was callled . ? Not sure if its still there ?. Anyway LOL. Partied with a lot of Aussies who drank us "under the table:. . I lived in Darwin for 16 years ( I planned to stay a month,) it was a great place until they sealed all roads into NT (yuppies, grey nomads etc; invaded) and the gov beefed up the defence forces ( who will be evacuated in event of war) and more recently the gas cartels.
