Have each of you been able to maintain your native English accents or have either of you noticed taking up the other’s accent? Martel’s English sounds American to me but every now and then I hear her pronounce with Wade’s Australian/British accent and of course I also hear her Filipino accent when pronounce if Filipino names and words. I’m curious if your accents will merge more over time. Can Wade speak or pronounce Filipino names and words? That could be a fun video😂

I definitely call my accent a hybrid one - Filipino, American, and Aussie. Wade’s accent has mellowed a bit because of mine I think. He’s been learning Filipino but I’m not a consistent teacher. We should do that haha. I can already imagine laughing so hard and filming to take ages. - Maryel

Last time I visited the Phillipines, when I said wait a minute they thought I said white a minute 🤔😅

If the phone is locked with your provider then yea, unless you just hire one of those portable wifi connection. There are plenty of places you can have your phone unlocked in Manila too. :)
