- Today I'm travelling from Bohol to Iloilo here in the Philippines. It's a long day of travel with a long layover in Manila's NAIA airport terminal 3. In this video I'll share my top 6 tips for travelling around the Philippines to help save you time, money and headaches.

Hello... it's too bad we always have to connect through Manila... for domestic flights between islands/cities there are no direct flights between cities. I remember flying from Legazpi City back to Bacolod, and had to route through Manila. Makes for a long long day. haha! 😂

Cebu is now a hub with flights to Puerto Princessa, Bacolod, Siargao, Davao City etc. Just a ferry trip and a taxi trip away from bohol to Mactan Airport.
Whenever it’s possible I travel in circles, it really helps saving time. One tip for the ferry’s is never trust the schedules on their internet site. I had to change my plans to join Camiguin from Jagna because the ferry’s internet site was not updated since pre-pandemic. Finally I had to stay in Anda watching Camiguin from my hotel room 😂. So another tip, always have a plan B.

My dad is from Iloilo, great food and friendly people!!! I’ve been to those places that you’ve been at. My airline of choice for domestic travel in the Philippines is Cebu Pacific (great fares) but no direct flights with them, every flight goes through Manila.
Oh cool. I really enjoyed Iloilo. Cebu pacific is my current airline of choice as well. They have the most flights out of Bohol and the price is reasonable.

Take a ferry to Cebu and take a flight to Iloilo from there. There's less layover time. It can zap the strength out of you from all the transfers via land ,sea and air.

Hello. I' m travelling to the philippines in mid november. So thanks for the tips. Do we need to order ferry tickets ( Bohol to Cebu) in advance?
Great! I’m glad the video was helpful. Usually you don’t need to book far in advance for Bohol to Cebu. But you can now book tickets on the OceanJet thru their Facebook page. But payments are done gcash.
Bohol is awesome. You seem to put a lot of effort into your background music in producing your videos. Just my opinion, but the music takes away from your content, especially when you are speaking. It gives it an over-produced inauthentic feel and frankly, the music is annoying. That said, I really do like your content!
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll do better to make the background music quieter when speaking. Will depend on the type of video. The more adventure type videos I prefer the music. But each to their own. I appreciate you watching and your feedback.
