    Airbnb is good. Better than a hotel. Don’t go to cheap. $30 is a good minimum for a Foreigner. Any lower and things are not as advertised. I don’t use a wallet when i travel. Don’t keep all your cash and documents in one place. Spread your eggs out. Grab is a must. Taxi’s will gouge a foreigner every time. Pacsafe bags are very nice. You can still break into it, but the idea is to make it difficult. I am surprised you did not mention ear plugs. I won’t travel to the PI without it.

    Hey Chad, nice to hear from you. I was just wondering..did the airlines charge you extra for the sling-bag and on one or both of those carry-on bags as you mentioned something about it in the video?? Also, what measurements would you recommend for for Over-head and under the seat bags? I've heard that with some of the Asian airlines limit you on the size and weight and/or charge you extra for these items. I never thought about bring your own snorkeling gear.🐟Great idea! Cheers!🎣

    • @ChadFosterExplores
      @ChadFosterExplores  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey thanks for watching and thanks for the comment, they didn't have any issue with the sling bag but worst case they might make you put it in one of your other bags. As for measurements I think each airlines sometimes have slightly different requirements, mine is about 26 inch long x 14in wide for the overhead and about 17 in long for under the seat. I've had no issue with these bags on the various Philippines airlines while traveling local here. :)

    So, what happened in Belize? I thought you would cover that excursion. Could you at least do a compare and contrast about the differences between Belize and Philippines? Appreciate it.

    • @ChadFosterExplores
      @ChadFosterExplores  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey there, Belize was awesome it was definitely a family trip and it wasn't conducive for posting videos during my time there but I did take video quite a bit and I'll be piecing something together for it. In the meantime I'll just tell you, huge difference between the two in terms of how expensive things are, it's not cheap there, you don't get the deals like you do in the Philippines, people are definitely friendly but I'd say the energy of Filipino people is a bit better and more welcoming but I don't want to knock anything on Belize people are still friendly and welcoming there. Infrastructure is better in Belize but still some similarities in terms of it being a developing country. Belize has lots of islands and reef great fishing and snorkeling etc. similar to the Philippines, but the fishing is better in Belize and it is set up for tourists better in that regard. also Belize has great interior jungles waterfalls etc. similar to the Philippines. We didn't encounter it but apparently there are some areas to avoid where you can run into trouble with bandits in Belize, sounds like that might be a bit more of an issue compared to the Philippines but I wouldn't say it's really bad. A big upside to Belize is proximity to the US in Canada it's much easier to get there. Dating opportunities seem much better in the Philippines for foreign men in my opinion .Overall it was incredible and I would definitely go back there though. Hope this helps!
