There's no way to make it happen that would make any sense.
      From the first one:
Charlie Sheen and Casey Schimezco (however in the hell you spell his last name-haha) both got killed
      And in the second:
      Doc (Kiefer Sutherland)
Chavez (Lou Diamond Phillips) and Billy (Emilio) all died, even Christian Slater's character was killed off camera and the kid was shot by Pat Garrett mistaking him for BTK.
The only survivors were Buckshot George/Henry William Finch and Pat Garrett.
Knowing Hollywood though they'll take the PC Gender Bender route and make them all Transgender Lesbians and rename it Young Huns! Haha
But no, there's really no way to make a Young Guns III work unless you took them all back to their adolescence and showed how they came together maybe??? But to do that, you'd have to get all new younger actors bc all of the original cast are in their mid to late 50's now.
Young Guns II was the proper send off of the franchise bc it was a great movie with a kick ass soundtrack by Jon Bon Jovi, back when he could actually sing.

Best part from the first film:
Billy: (Yelling out the window to the sheriff) "Hey Pepin! I see ya got Charlie Crawford down there with ya."
Pepin: Yeah, he's here. We got (Billy takes aim) a whole bunch (Billy fires. Man standing next to Pepin drops dead from a bullet between the eyes)
Another man near Pepin: "Oh my God!"
Billy: Hey Pepin.......Charlie Crawford ain't with ya anymore." (Billy gives the most maniacal laugh on film)

I would like to see the Brushy Bill Roberts story, for sure. It could begin 30 years after the events of YG2 and show how Billy survived and stayed hidden for so many years. I'm sure he still had plenty of adventures, met lots of other outlaws with plenty of stories to tell, AND could still star Emilio as "Brushy Bill Roberts" aka: Billy the Kid. :)

    • @ispartacus1337
      @ispartacus1337 2 ปีที่แล้ว

yea if you look into Brushy Bill Roberts story he definitely claimed to have had TONS of adventures after he was supposedly killed. so much so that its completely unbelievable lol I'd say the absolute worst thing a famous wanted outlaw could do is everything Brushy Bill claimed like joining the nationally famous wild west show, join the Pinkertons as a guard against train robberies the list goes on and on and on I dont even remember all the shit he claimed to have done. unfortunately Brushy Bill should be called Brushy Bullshit. it would be an insult to the memory of BTK to portray that man as him.

He said it. "They were all ki11ed off at the end, I don't know how they would do another sequel." That whole story with those involved in the Lincoln County war ended July 14, 1881 but after digging deeper into the story I believe the kid lived on until 1950 or 51 and his legend continues to live on to this day 140 years later. Those two movies were the best movies ever done covering this part of history. Great cast.

As Emilio says there's no reason as to why he or the other actor's could or would want to come back for a 3rd Installment...
As much as we'd like to believe that Billy The Kid survived it has shown even more now with the constant influx of new evidence that was constantly being investigated & updated & has shown is that in fact Pat Garrett did set out for a 2nd time for Billy The Kid but this time he was going out to kill him which he did after tracking him for many months & found out where he was hiding & waited in the room of a fellow associate of Billy's...
Prior to this Pat had captured Billy in a cabin at Stinking Springs & instead of shooting his way out this time Billy handed himself in & while he waited to go to trial (which itself was a farce) he escaped from jail & killed 2 deputies & this was the main reason why Pat Garret decided that when he went to track & find Billy for the 2nd time Pat Garrett was now out to kill Billy as Pat felt some how responsible for the deaths of those 2 men as he knew how volatile Billy could be as he was charming one minute & would shoot you dead in the next minute if you crossed him...
I'd definitely say Billy sealed his fate once & for all after that escape from jail which left more men dead & it was not a case of capture him anymore but kill on sight...
There was no honor in how Pat Garrett finally killed Billy The Kid & he never claimed that there ever was as he knew how deadly Billy could be & when he hid in the dark in a room next to Billys & waited for him to return & Billy entered that room with his gun drawn & asked in Spanish
" Who Is It " but before he could find out or fire a shot Pat Garrett stood up & shot him dead on the spot...
I will say this, You have at your hands the easiest & quicket way to resource & find out for yourself what actually happened to Billy The Kid & why he didn't get a Pardon which was agreed on & then he didn't get Posthumous Pardon for killing an corrupt officer of the law that aided in the death of (who had become Billys friend/mentor & father figure) John Tunstall..
You have to understand that the West was almost completely corrupt by those in any position of power & they did what ever needed to be done to succeed & when they got away with this people like Billy The Kid/Jesse James & many more decided to take justice themselves by any means possible as the system of law that was in place at that time was more often than not bought by the wealthy & anyone that got in their way of prosperity & huge profit was to be killed...
Look your history up on your cell phone's/laptops/Pcs et al & you'll see that more often than not the one's supposedly innocent & were respected member's of society were brutal ruthless businessmen & the line between them & the outlaws of that time was very blurred to say the least & this is why many ended up becoming outlaws & wanted men, as the justice system itself was so corrupt...
There were no clear innocents in the old West just a lot of dead bodies & grieving widows & families... More often than not these disputes started out by so called wealthy law abiding citizens abusing that corrupt system to meet their need...
It's that old saying " If there's blood on the streets, buy property " & in the old West there was plenty of blood spilled on to the streets...
The tale of the West is not always as noble as you'd think & it was very easy for law abiding citizens who had enough & end up on the wrong side of the law, which itself was no angel & totally corruptable...
Sometimes there's another old saying of
" Do You Print The Truth or The Legend " & more often than not it's the latter, but sometimes the truth can be just as intriguing/mysterious & wildly amazing to take in also, that's if your an open minded person who wants to know the real facts...
In Light of the coronavirus stay safe and healthy where ever you are in the world...

This interview was totally awesome and epic as well. I do agree here with
Emilio estevz. Every character was killed off except for Billy the kid in a way. What I mean is this. During the last scene of Young guns 2 why they were doing a funeral right, we did see somebody still a horse. The thing is we didn't see their faces, so it could been Billy the kid or a kid been somebody else. We do not know for sure if Billy the kid was killed off or not in Young guns 2 now if they do a storyline from that part and continue who knows for sure. Don't get me wrong I love Young one and two. favorite western movies, well besides the quick and the Dead with Sharon Stone. Anyway I just hope they do not ruin Young guns 3.

Okay, piggybacking off some of the other commenters here, I know exactly how they could do another sequel and have some of the original cast come back. Have Emilio play Brushy Bill Roberts in his middle years, and at one point in the movie, he has a vivid dream where he talks to/imagines Chavez or Doc or any of them, as they would be "now". Also, if the movie took place around 1908, you could have Pat Garrett still be alive for part of the movie and even have a scene where Billy(now Brushy Bill) reads about Pat's death in a news paper and maybe even cries over it or something. It could be extremely emotional, actually, seeing how, if we assume Brushy Bill was really Billy the Kid, then Pat made a huge gesture of friendship and trust towards him by not killing him, proving they both cared a lot about each other. Billy loved Pat enough to not return to a life of crime(which would've exposed Pat as a liar) and Pat trusted Billy enough to let him go, knowing Billy could "show up in Arizona, stealin' cows" at any time. You could also, at the beginning or end of the film, do the scene in 1950 where he goes before the judge and breaks down, and is finally discredited.

“Young Guns 2” was only based half on “Brushy Bill Robert’s” account’s. The other half was based on a rumor that was going around during those times in Lincoln County about “Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett” being friends and riding together. That rumor happened because of “George Mason” who was part of “Pat’s” posse when they captured “Billy” and had once rode with The Kid. It would be nice if in Young Gun’s 3, “Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and Bat Masterson” were portrayed somehow in the story, because Wyatt and Bat had been hunting and captured “Dave Rudabaugh” and “Doc” helped catch him. “Oh”, and Dave Rudabaugh had joined “Ike Clanton” and The Cowboys and was even rumored too have participated in “Morgan Earp’s murder and Virgil’s attempted murder and supposedly was present when “Curly Bill Brocius” was killed.

He was badass in Young Guns. They all did great. Most of them didn't die in real life. I think they need to do a remake with all of them in it again without using the ending that Brushy Bill Roberts told. It would be a win win for the studio. Scorsese ??

Huge Young Guns fan, thinking about it a prequel story would be the only way to take the franchise forward for sure. the original regulators could also get their own origins movies which explain how they ended up with John Tunstall taking them under his wing aswell as the new characters from part 2 aswell, I would definitely be up for it if done properly.

Prequel leading up to being found/saved by John Tunstall. Age, you question? It's 2020 Hollywood. Plus + Emilio looks quite young still already. What's to figure out? Scenes and accuracy were stretched as is with YGs2.

Nobody wants a prequel to these movies. Wouldn't look natural. So what's to figure out? A whole lot of money to deage everyone for an entire length of a movie. The movies were torn to shreds by the critics, and the box office numbers aren't exactly that high. So there's a whole lot to figure out pal, can't do a prequel and can't do a sequel unless they use some kind of fantasy element into it. Sorry but it's never going to happen.
