Мой дядя был там. Показал ему вашу реакцию - он расплакался) спасибо!
1.6 million people, world record, its awesome HELLYEAH
Yeah, small state....
World record for awesomeness, but not crowd size. Rod Stewart had 3.5 million on Copacabana beach, 1994. Biggest metal crowd though. 🤘 😎 👍
FALSE
They stopped counting at 1.6m
@@risenshine371 folktale
There were an estimated 1.6 million people at this concert which was made possible by Mikhail Gorbachev and perestroika. Great reaction 🙌🤙✌️
It was made possible by Ronald Reagan.
They stopped counting at 1,6 miljons, it was the first concert in freedom after they end the Cold War!
In that time Metallica did a world tour with the highlight this concert in Russia!
@@hornerinf it were negotiations between Regan and Gorbachev, but Gorbachev implemented perestroika, not Regan.
@@doobiedave9686 Implemented, yes, but he was prompted to do so because of Reagan. Reagan pushed them to the edge of their ability to keep up with the arms race and when he went to Berlin and dared Gorbachev to take down the wall ("Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall") the whole world looked to the USSR to answer that challenge. Reagan forced their hand. I am fortunate to have a small piece of that wall. Reagan was a strong leader who believed in peace through strength. Our new president is of the same belief.
Putin wouldn't have approved of this reckless western imperialism.
"Master of Puppets" by them is a must. Love your reaction to the performance. Great band, great song. Wishing your and yours the best. Peace ............. out.
thank you emma i lovve your reaction
😘
A million+ in Moscow attended this show. Emma!!! 😍❤️💖💘
1.5 million people at this gig. Thanks Emma 🎉🎉🇨🇦
we Russians used to love heavy metal, I'm sorry I wasn't there I was just 13 years old school boy playing Metallica on his completely obsolete soviet mono tape player. I'd kill to go back in time an be at this concert
@@invictus99 no people, just orcs
there is no official information of 1.5 million spectators at the Metallica show
@@RoverWaters I stopped the video and counted them, it matches.
Awesome Emma. Love your reactions ❤
Thank you 🤗
love your reactions! and this was 1.6 or more, they stopped counting at 1.6 million, one of the greatest scenes in history!
Yeah, people kept coming in throughout the concert. Official count was 1.6 mil but estimated to have peaked around 1.8 mil.
Only 57 deaths.
The estimation is based on the square meter of the area, a military zone, it was 1,6 million m², so it means 1 person per m²... Spoiler, they were way more than 1 per m² on the footage 😄
@@lechatvenere no, the estimation came form the russian police. and is too high imo
Seen these dudes 4 times , never disappointed
An excellent review and analysis by you, Emma. It's a great song of theirs with plenty of energy and it really rocks.
All the soldiers in uniform were supposed to be providing crowd control. This song was also used by the New York Yankees as relief pitcher Mariano Rivera's music when he came in to pitch.
"Ecstasy of Gold" is the Classical piece Metallica opens each of their concerts with, & you heard the Prelude to Power there & then, Emma!
Also, the Tom and Jerry sweatshirt is awesome!
Hi Emmita love youre job its great prof vocal coach
I highly recommend their performance of Fade To Black from the same concert.
I also like The Unforgiven 2 (official music video). And finally, you would absolutely love the live version of Nothing Else Matters with the San Francisco philharmonic orchestra. It's amazing!
The sweatshirt is fire!:)
Love your reviews, so honest.❤
Thank you 😊
Seen Metallica twice…they sounded just like their album. MORE TOOL REACTIONS PLEASE!!!
❤ your reactions. The style and technique analysis is awesome. Thanks for spending time on metallica. They revolutionized heavy metal from the 80 hair metal bands to the 90 and going forward.
This concert was on a disused airfield outside Moscow. They were counting at the gates but gave up at 1.5 million because there were so many people climbing in over fences.
What's it like to be a Rock star....baam there it is!!!!
I have seen them 50 times, and they never disappoint.
I was there and I was 16 years old!
I love this song. Metallica will go down as the Greatest Heavy Metal band of all time.
One from Metallica has always a speciale spot in my life
*** Great editing !!! I can't tell you how great it is not to have your voice volume louder than the music. Seriously... Us old folks crank this haha
Creeping death at the same gig is a great watch. 1.6 million russians shouting die! Also a live gig of older metallica, fade to black live in lincoln ne, is a great watch. Accoustic and electric!
Until it Sleeps is still my all time Favorite
Emma, I’ve never seen you so excited! Great Reaction! This concert was epic! Imagine playing to 1.5+ million people… Make sure to check out AC/DC at River Plate, also huge huge crowds.
Can't wait!
Seeing Old Glory 🇺🇸 being waved in Moscow.. the good old days. A world united by just music. I hope we'll can go back to those times. We all have our differences. Politicians will try to divide us, but the common people are more alike than we might think 🤟
The Wall came down and this was a historic moment.
One.... Metallica❤❤❤❤❤
Absolute madlads 🫡
MetallicA is a must!more MetallicA.
Excellent reaction this gave me goosebumps they jamming their ass off later beautiful.❤️😎🇺🇸
Lovin the Tom and Jerry shirt. ;)
Great performance but I would be terrified to be in that audience.
Master of Puppets is my favorite from them. I just watched them perform it on The Howard Stern Show. It’s incredible😊
Metallica's 1 of 6 bands in Moscow in '91 at Monsters of Rock Annual World Tour w: AC⚡DC & Pantera having videos of their concert there post-Communism, Emma!
Such an epic show
The jumping registered on the richter scale
Creeping Death and Harvester of Sorrow at the same show are both dope
Hello EMMA, I haven't seen you any where! Are you still in business? I miss seeing your videos...(sad face) Your #1 FAN
Incredible
METALLICA is one of those crazy bands. They come from my area (Bay Area) and my era (70s-90s) of the country. Among my friends of the time, they felt STRONGLY that Metallica had SOLD OUT from their thrash roots of their first four albums... Well, maybe so... but, since I don't care for thrash metal... COOL!
Metallica has many greatest hits. Lets be honest they are all great. I do love when they performed with orchestra. You gotta check that one out. It was beautiful live performance
Try The POT by Tool 👊
Same Venue...watch "Creeping Death"...talk about ENERGY...!!!!
Emma! 😘🥰😍
Emma моя любима песня the unforgiven ❤❤❤
My favorite MetallicA song is "One". They played it with the San Francisco Symphony, it's my favorite version.
Fan of Metallica for over 30 years. Fan of your old channel (not suscriber though) and fan AND subsciber of this new channel. You will reach your old hights.
My favorite Metallica song is Wherever I May Roam. I dont know about favorite performance but you may try something i think new for you. Song is Orion. That is one of their instrumentals. It is always an ode to great late Cliff Burton (their bassist) on what should have been his 56th birthday.
Metallica - Orion (live in Turin 2018).
Great reaction as usual! Did you take note of the opening tune? Before enter the Sandman? Its Ecstacy of Gold by Ennio Morricone. Its an incredibly moving song on its own merit. I recommend you watch the Danish National Symphony Orechstra Medley of The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly/Ecstacy of Gold to enjoy a masterful concert highlighting this song. It came out in 2018 and now has about 150M views. It has a large choir - but no true identifieable words - just ohhs and ahhs, and gutteral sounds, Wah-Wahs etc and yet it can move many folks to tears! It features strings, brass, percussion ... but also electric guitar, ocharina. It features two sopranos one who sings primarily the words Wah, Wah and also whistles and the other soprano leads or follows in call and response to the other soprano or the strings... like coyotes singing in the desert southwest. And as silly as my description sounds most reactors find it incredibly emotive and one of the rarest of great performances ... some of them and including me tear up hearing it. It was a soundtrack for a famous Spaghetti Western, "The Good, the Bad, The Ugly" by Sergio Leonne. I know you will enjoy it and it has plenty of vocal aspects to focus on as well
This is absolutely incredible what an unbeilavable concert 1.6 millon people helicopters Flying over is totally epic
"Wherever We May Roam" Metallica Tour and a part of the Monsters of Rock festival, September 28, 1991, at Tushino Airfield in Moscow, free enter (also performed AC/DC, Pantera, Black Crowe, E.S.T.)
At this concert at an abandoned airfield in Tushino in Moscow, 1 million 600 thousand people were present !!!
Nice sweatshirt emma of tom and jerry
Metallica - Whiskey in the Jar (Castle Donington, England - June 10, 2023) crowd is awesome.
Portuguese singer- Dulce Pontes - Canção Do Mar
Bands And Fans Can Make Peace.
This is the song that got me to actually pick up a guitar. There were over 1 million people at this concert in Moscow. The shots of the crowd still are just stunning. Just a sea of people coming to a show. wow. just wow
Emma!
Aaaah the Monsters of Rock in Moscow, 1991. Still holds the Guiness' World Record for largest live audience to this day.
The Iron Curtain was crumbling, the USSR was imploding, this was the very first time that "soviet" people could listen to "western music" without getting sent to a gulag, or be executed.
You can see some members of the military, originally there to provide security, getting caught in the vibe and letting it all go.
They were formally court-martialed and condemned for "dereliction of duty" but the sentence was lifted immediately.
The helicopters were initially there for surveillance, but the crowd became so massive that they were re-tasked to blowing down air to prevent as mush overheating as possible.
The organizer originally prepped 500.000 "bracelet" for the * FREE * day long concert, but three days before the date, people started coming ... and coming ... and coming ...
The total audience is * estimated * at 1.6 million people, but there is no way to actually know the real numbers, because they broke all expectations.
The joke is that there are still people leaving the airfield where that massive, history-changing event took place !
There's an interview somewhere on YT with several members of the several bands that where performing that day, talking about a "massive brain-f*ck of a concert".
i was at monsters of rock Dallas two cases of schlitz malt liquor and 4 army guys
Monsters of Rock in Moscow
Hi Emma I love you 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
Metallica is always good.
If you ask me which live performance I like, there are many, but I recommend: Metallica: All Nightmare Long (Live in Mexico City)
or also
Queen & James Hetfield/Tony Iommi - Stone Cold Crazy (The Freddie Tribute Concert)
I know they are very different from each other, but they are demonstrations of the variety of Metallica live performances.
Check out their song Creeping Death at the same concert.
Love Tom and Jerry!! 🐱 🐭
Heard this song many times, and I've seen the official video, but I've not seen this video before Emma🙂👍
Maybe you could check out Miley Cyrus and Metallica performing "Nothing else matters" live on the Howard Stern show. It's a really good one😊
" so how many people were there " .... about a few!
Battery, Blackened, Master of Puppets, really anything from Seattle 1989 is the epic Metallica concert.
This was a free concert after the Berlin wall fallen. James( singer) says in a intervjuv.. this was totaly madness. No one know hwo we was, never heard us earlier and still they rock like tomorrow never comes.
Another band you might like Queensryche song Eyes Of A Stranger off of the album Operation Mind Crime.
Or Skid Row songs In a Darken Room, and or Wasted Time
1.6 million
Hi Emma! Do you recognize the preamble? It's music from The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly movie! Nice reaction 😊.
WOW!!! I didn't think about that... Thank's for letting me know!😉
same concert try next song just after this, " creeping death" nice react
You need to react to the warnings version of enter sandman. Metálica endorse the warnings version and included it on there 30 anniversary of the black album.
I always wondered how many Port-a-pottys there were. 😂
There was actually more than 1.6 million. That's just when they stopped counting. Metallica can still fill full stadiums easily!
In the category of favorite tracks, "The Meek Shall Inherit Nothing" by Frank Zappa is at the top of the list, followed by "Wasted Words" by the Allman Bros., containing the phrase, 'Ain't no saint; sure as hell, ain't no savior. Every other Christmas, I would practice good behavior.'
It is estimated to be 1.6 million in attendance to this Free Concert, featuring; a Russian Metal band _ The Black Crowes _ Pantera _ Metallica _ AC/DC.
Oh WOW!!!!!!!!!!
Big time in America to open the world and come together.
Hi Emma! I enjoy your reactions so much. Please react to SODA STEREO PROFUGOS GIRA ME VERAS VOLVER. I'm waiting patienly. Kisses from Argentina!
"Grabbing the a$$ of this phrase." I am only a laymen who hasn't formally studied music. But if this is what you learn in music school, perhaps I'll take some classes.
Monumental concert in USSR just before is colapse! Amazing!
break stuff by limp bizkit at woodstock 99. same vibes.
next please reaction enter sandman live by the warning..it so good .thank you
I heard there was 1.6 million at this concert

Got one for you, Megadeath " hangar 18" .
Первый раз разрешили такую музыку, а раньше посадить могли.
Wait until you get to pantera live at Moscow domination same concert as metallica
The stated attendance was 1.6 million
You have a Tom and Jerry top. And reacting to Metallica? Fan.
1.6 million people
I love how over the years the estimated amount of people at this concert has gone from 500,000 to 1.6 million 🤣
No one knows for sure exactly how many people attended…its all a guess. In 2 more years, people will be saying “3 million people were there!!”
