One of the greatest ironies in history. Also, a solid sign that we have made progress as humans. Also, music tends to transcend just about any and all barriers. But yeah, a stadium full of Parisians singing and dancing to German Industrial Metal is pretty hardcore.

Funny thing here is that most of the Spectators are French and who knows that French people don't want to speak other languages, but here they speak German, that's a sign of how well Ramstein is received by you, i.e. the viewers !!
It's not that we don't want to speak other languages, it's that we're tired about the comments about our accent when we do it. The ones who really don't want to bother learning another language are the elders.
@@novastarburst3939 But your accent sounds beautiful. Who does complain about that ? French accent sounds beautifull in every language. I have heard a french reporter speaking arabic and even that sounded sexy 😂
2 bands in the world every person should experience live - Rammstein and Nightwish. Both deliver unearthly performances and simply melt your brain away with awesomeness.
Well Since Till is a licensed Pyrotechnician it only makes sense that they absolutely go insane with pyro. For the Europe stadium tour they used about a metric ton of club moss spurs.
I used to be the singer for a few bands back in the day. I always felt that when the audience knew the song well enough to sing it for you. You have something so very special. Estvh Queen. Freddie could simply stand on a stage and just have fun. He didn't need to sing one note. Ultimate boss level
I am not German and do not speak German, but I was "introduced" to Rammstein back in 1999. I travelled from Adelaide to Melbourne to visit relatives and bought their album Engel while I was there, as it was not available in Adelaide at that time. I was also a fan of karaoke and a few years later found the karaoke version of Du Hast. This was a first hearing of Rammstein for a lot of Adelaideans and I like to think that a few more fans were created because of this exposure.
The band is covered with fire resistant gel and Til is pyrotechnician and does all the pyrotechnics. Did you notice the keyboardist is walking on a treadmill the whole time?
Hi Emma , first at all i Love your reactions. I think with a look about our History is that a lot of French People are singing with a german Band in german is amazing, and i love that. That gives me Hope for Mankind. Greetings from Germany and go on with what your doing.
Oh yeah, this one never fails. The RAMMSTEIN rabbit hole is deep, wide and convoluted, you're in for the ride of your life. What's very, very unique about this particular video (it's an edit of several concerts, with the only thing added in post being the lightning effects on the keyboard) is that it's a full room of 35.000+ *FRENCH* people singing in *GERMAN* within 10 seconds, even before Till says a single word. With more than two centuries of wars, invasions, political unrest and deep-rooted HATRED between the French and the German people, THIS proves the power of music.
Love this band! Engel and this song are their biggest hits but lot more videos. Four frei was also in triple x, links 1234 is one of many. Till is also doing so solo work now
Wow, try ANY song / video by Rammstein. They are all amazing. Ich Tu Dir Weh is another favourite of mine along with the relatively recent Deutschland.

Keyboardist on a treadmill with lightening bolts on his hand...first time for everything.
Certainly different from what I would normally listen too, but it was a uniquely interesting experience and rewarding; Till Lindemann's has a great range to his vocals, and the crowd were having a rocking time singing along; With the Pyrotechnics going on, this is probably a Band where you get the sense of their raw energy/power at a live Concert; Emma once again has delivered, and gives a charming/genuine/stylish reaction and is clearly enjoying herself, it's just so uplifting to see Emma so relaxed, happy and having fun; Also Emma always manages to adroitly make some points about the performance, but always with panache and eloquence and grace; And again Emma is just so stunningly beautiful; 🦄🥰😘🙏👏👍🙏🎶🎵🎶🎧🎙🍵🍁🍁🦅.
The song Title and therefrain is actually an pun. Because "Du hasst" like in the beginning of the refrain can be understood as "you hate" and only with the second part of the refrain "hast mich gefragt" which translates to "have asked me" you get that its not about hate. Another "Meta thing" that is going on here is: The song goes about a engagement to an Marriage, where the pastor asks, the people in front of him: do u *name* wanna marry *Name* and the singer first answers yes only to deny this answer. I believe this should show that marriage is not always about love, its more about to endure and got strengthend out of problems. But thats just my 2 cents about it.
Hello!! Great reaction!! Rammstein is my favorite band ever in all ways!! I would like to suggest some titles of songs bu them you should absolutley listen to: Mutter; Stein um Stein; Ohne dich; Seeman; Bestrafe mich; Klavier; Bückstabu; Zeig dich; Diamant; Fruhling in Paris and Reise Reise!! All of these songs have both official audio and live performances if you want to check one of these out, which I recommend as soon as possible!! Some of these are heavy while others are soft, you have many to choose and enjoy!! Keep going!!😊😊
Rammstein haben die besten Show´s ever! The Music also, und Dir gefällt es Emma das kann man sehen darum schau Dir die Auftritte in Russland an da es dort keine oder kaum Beschränckungen gibt! Gigantisch! :)
There is a very clever words play in that song. Because he starts with "Du hast" which sounds like "Du hasst (meaning You hate)", then he says "Du hast mich (which sounds the same as Du hasst mich ((you hate me))) and when he finish the sentence finally "Du hast mich gefragt" the meaning totally alters to "You've asked me"
My favorite Songs from Rammstein are RADIO, AMERIKA, DEUTSCHLAND, BENZIN and last but not least FEUER FREI. Till Lindemann always sing with his low Voice. But in FEUER FREI he sing one Part quiet, but with a high Voice. Maybe this may help you. I like your Music Taste because it is a part of mine Taste too. Maybe you watch out for some Music from 80s and 90s. That was the best Time for good Music. I wish you a good Night and stay safe. Servus. 😄
The Rammstein Miracle is getting a stadium full of French people to sing in German and like it :D
I know! I love the...irony, I guess?

Were Europe.. Not Midlle east. Amazing that we understand that what our grandparents did was wrong. And learn from their mistakes.
They finally figured out how to successfully get the French to speak German after all these years.
Can't give this a like😂😂😂
turns out the answer was FEWER tanks! Who'd have thought it?
As a portuguese i love both languages for different reasons (despite, not gonna lie, leaning more towards French)
The keyboardist is absolutely essential to this performance. Til is a force of nature.
With Rammstein you are always prepared for the last day of our universe

Came here to say this. That song is iconic in its subtle harmonic complexity.

maybe the best reaction video of Du Hast - Paris that i've witnessed. thank you so much for being true to the tongue/lyrics!
fantastic 😎 !
"Ohne Dich" is another great song.
one of the best perfoming bands, i like it.
You have to watch the clips of them live in their last stadium tour. 2023 and 2024. That's a hell of show 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thanks Emma, you do us a great service with getting back into Rammstein. Legend.

He is singing higher in "Ich tu dir weh". There is an awesome live performance from madison square garden.
I was stationed in Germany in the early 80's and saw I saw them live a couple of times. They are awesome performers!

just a little side note. When Till encourages the crowd to sing he yells "Chante" .... because it's in Paris and is French for "SING"

What I thought was so cool about this, was when the lead singer screamed "Chanter!" back at the crowd =>
Till's highest register you can hear at the song "Seemann".

He became certified specifically so he could be in charge of it.
You're correct, till has a license Pyro engineer.
