Now that you’ve done Japan you have to do Nationalist China, the warlords and Manchukuo. This mod looks so cool and fleshed out.

It's not flashed out, it's bloated. Fleshed out mod would have acknowledged soviet invasions of China in 1929, 1934 and 1937(should be happening during the game, but doesn't) and two border conflicts Japan had with soviets. Where are they?
Eight years war of resistance is more fleshed out than this mod

The reason for the two expansionist paths is due to the inter service rivalry. The navy, who historically won the rivalry (but also not really), wanted a southward expansion into the European colonies and China, while the army wanted a northward expansion of Russia.
A) Your Russian Pupoet capitulated very early in the war because it triggered before you got sufficient territory
B) The decision to take over Russian Administration re-integrates the territory. So you basically annexed the puppet before you released it in the event making it so that it never came to be

I would actually recommend the Eight Years War mod more. Really good historicity to the mod and some DAMN good focus trees focusing on the lesser-talked about parts of the lead up to the war, as well as a good set of focus trees for starting Chinese nations.

Hagakure mod. Philippines got a exploity focus tree. You can basically annex USA in 1938 or 1937 if you spam 2 width cavs and you can get cores in spain or cores in Malaysia and Indonesia. If you play the cards right you will easily conquer the entire world if you chose the Unite the Sultanate.

If manchus do the Qing china focus and get core on all of china, and then if Japan proposes a union, Japan will get core on manchukuo and all of china if they accept, I tried it and this works....

While Paradox stares itself blind on massive focustrees, modders managed to add actual flavour to the game by expended or even new features.
Honestly this mod was very interesting I would love it you tried some of the other paths.

With the Government Ideas Expanded mod, i got up to +30k manpower/month with enforced pop growth and good public healthcare, etc. It was mostly to see if I could, so i had stupid consumer goods, and you would never do this if you wanted an industry, but 30k per month is crazy

The problem there is after Poland peace out with Germany, the Allies ran out of PP to guarantee Netherlands so it is free real estate for Germany.

Play hoi4 old world blues lost hill bunker maxsonians but try to keep alive all the brotherhoods
It's not really possible since the other brotherhoods all get debuffs which ban you from sending volunteers until certain dates. That includes the maxson chapter in colorado which is really hard to save.
