I guess you could try Civ 6 if you want, I can't remember which DLC it is but one of them has natural disasters and rising sea levels, so it adds another dimension to the game. Or Stellaris would be good, you could possibly do a mega-campaign through Victoria 3 to Hoi4 to Stellaris. If not, a Stellaris video would be fun to see.
One word government by the logic of the name, you should puppet every member of your faction. Or something more extreme sending an ultimatum to every nation in the world to get puppeted/annexed or getting a war goal.

If you're looking for other strategy games, some of the older total wars like Napoleon and Rome 2 (vanilla or modded like with DEI or NTW3) are pretty fun even to this day
I don't the micro management part, as US always naval invade which screws up everything, and I always cant hold the line when snaking or capitulate quick enough before they joined allies.
I can't be the first one to suggest this but I'd love to see you play some Total War. I know Rome 2 is pretty old now and tragically doesn't have the same political aspects as HOI4 that lets you have wacky scenarios like the pope taking over Italy or Trotsky leading successful Communist Revolution in Mexico but still seeing you build an Iceni, Lusitani, or Ptolomaic Empire sounds great.
Could you do an examination of the Bronze Age collapse and/or systems collapse (one of the theories of what caused the BAC). Add your favorite theory of what caused, as well. I watched the Extra History series on the topic and want to know more. Thanks!

Alternative take, Privatization and Synarchist Communes Path gets you +4% recruitable pop. Also should you get athiest state in the meantime you get +30% factory output which is the equivalent of 2 concentrate or 3 dispersed industry techs as a permanent buff.
The most annoying thing that i had hoped they would have added with this update was tech stealing. It literally makes no sense that if you conquer a nation with higher tech than you that you dont inherit the tech.
If you like politics, tech trees and strategy I would suggest stellaris if you don’t care about it being not historical. Kind of an under rated game because it takes skill to play so I’d be interested to see you play it

I managed to secure the iron at the west so they intercepting my convoys don't dries me dead, but then they went for naval invasions and that destroyed any line I had at the front, my best guess is for me to attack them almost as fast as I'm done with the caribean so they don't have that many units but I'm also low no MP at that point

It's hard to find a way to include it into Mexican runs. Generally takes a long while.
