Foe ep 50, you should have a hat filled with little bits of paper. On each piece there's the name of a random challenge and it's wrapped around a treat. Before each level Hector or Cora pull out a bit of paper and you have to play the level with a random challenge.. not finishing without all 3 1-ups, end with 65 coins.. cannot finish without the top of the flagpole.. if the challenge isn't possible, lose a life and skip until it's feasible 😈😈 Expert may be a better option however.. :)

5:37. I swear ryu's cheese radar is the best of any SMM player that I watch. Always impresses me with how ryu can take a meticulously made level that a level creator probably spent hours on and might have even spent an equal amount of time trying to think up all the ways someone could cheese a level. Then ryu comes along in a super expert no skip run and within minutes is able to cheese the level for the world to see on youtube. Lets bow our heads in a moment of silence for all the level creators who got embarrassed by ryu and had their levels cheesed for the world to see.

Here's a weird idea for a super expert run. I call it "Count it down". First level, if you die 6 times you have to skip. Second level, die 5 times and skip. And so on. Until you have to beat the 6th and final level on one life or skip
The point isn't to be hard. If I wanted him to do something hard, I'd suggest one life or skip. This is just supposed to be something new and unique, perhaps interesting to some.
For #50 you could do a run where you have to beat every level in 10 lives or less, and if you don’t you restart the run. Along the lines of the no death normal run but a little harder

Super Expert never fails to entertain, you have now completed at least two and half runs without a single good stage so the hot garbage streak is still going strong! Now that you have already completed a pacifist run, maybe you could try a genocide run where you must kill every enemy that is possible to kill!

Here's an idea for your 50th no skip run. How about a run in which you can only clear 1 of each type of level? Speedrun, troll, puzzle, a good level, kaizo, water stage and so on. I'm sure there's loads of level types I didn't even list.
Try a 1 life all modes challenge! So you start with a single live in easy and then grind your way up to super expert, where you will hopefully have collected enough 1ups to make it.
Dale Klamert and how is he supposed to know if they are cleared or not without between each stage going to course builder to check and that would get boring so whilr i think it could be cool i jusy don't think it'd work

I just watched the blindfolded run again and enjoyed it, so you could maybe make a "best of" of your challenges, for example start with a blindfolded easy run, take the lives from that run into a one handed expert run and if you get through this just play super expert over and over until you run out of lives. Okay, Ryu, at 7:00 when you get a jump like that you can’t spin so early. Since you spun once you hit the ceiling it increased your fall rate. It’s best to spin when you get closer to the ground in that situation, just to keep you hovering a bit longer. Also, it doesn’t really matter if you duck with small Mario in that situation. Hope this helps in the future, much love.

The easy way to do something interesting would be an endurance run, see how many Super Expert modes you can beat with 100 Marios (whenever you win, you start the next one with the same number of left over lives). But something else that might work well would be the 1 Life challenge variant on the All Difficulties challenge. Doing all difficulties with 100 Marios just ends up being careful not to lose to many lives on Expert and then do a normal SE run. But if you start with a single Mario, each stage on your way to Super Expert is significant.
Since it's lucky number 50 I'd suggest beating as many levels as you possibly can with 50 lives (If you beat one set of 6 discard as many lives as you need the next run to match it prior to starting OR try using all one hundred lives to race to 50. An endurance match for sure. Either way I love your content and am excited for whatever comes out, Ryu.
Do an epic retrospective for Ep 50 - Go back through all the previous episodes to find the run-killing levels, pull them up with the level code and try to beat them before you rack up 100 deaths. I would say 100 deaths per level. That way on each level you either get sweet victory over the level that thwarted you before, or have to endure a further 100 humiliating deaths... and either will be entertaining to watch.
There probably was a star or a power up above the spring. As you see all the deaths on the first part. But on the other chompers there are basically no deaths.
Good ideas for the 50th episode: 1) 50 Life Super Expert with skips allowed 2) Coinless Challenge - must beat every level with 0 coins, if not possible you need to skip. 3) Only troll-levels Super expert 4) 10 life Expert with skips 5) 25 life expert without skips 6) Continuation run; If you beat Super expert with 43 lives, do it again but with 43 lives only. Continue until you hit 0. Aim for 2-3. 7) Expert only 3 lives per level.

For 50 do a showcase run. Designed. By you with video challenges from your colleges to see who can handle a last man standing free for all. You possibly could have an Olympics style setup where there are themed techniques to each level.
6:12 Moving left (or jumping into the spring) at the beginning wouldnt make you trap at the spring, and maybe push it to the side or allow some other strategy for the jumps? Pretty sure the strategy goes something like that, since all the springs fall on you in every level.
I'd love to see you play the *top ranked* super expert stages for the 50th video! I love watching these runs, but it seems as though the levels of late have been mostly awful. The reason rom hacks are so good is their excellent level design! Watching you play well-designed (or at least well-liked) super expert stages would be a welcome change of pace.
For your 50th use the 50/50 method. Before each level flip a coin. Don't know what to do next though. Maybe heads: start the run over ; tails: skip the level. Or whatever. Just giving inspiration. 😉

Idea for a run: The ALL RUN Run!! Either Normal or Expert, but the caveat is you MUST hold down Y + either left or right! You can’t let go of run, and you can’t stop moving! The HARDEST stages to do like this are the “auto-complete” stages that expect you not to move (they usually have large death gaps).
For the 50th super expert no skip, you could try to clear as many levels as you can in a row with 100 lives (if you finish a run with 60 lives, start up a new one and subtract 40, etc.)
For 50, you could do several runs, but each one is dedicated to either: A) one specific style, like SMB, SMB 3, SMW, and NSMBU or B) one specific level theme, like troll, speedrun, kaizo, etc.

6:12 Moving left (or jumping into the spring) at the beginning wouldnt make you trap at the spring, and maybe push it to the side or allow some other strategy for the jumps? Pretty sure the strategy goes something like that, since all the springs fall on you in every level.

I'd love to see you play the *top ranked* super expert stages for the 50th video! I love watching these runs, but it seems as though the levels of late have been mostly awful. The reason rom hacks are so good is their excellent level design! Watching you play well-designed (or at least well-liked) super expert stages would be a welcome change of pace.
For your 50th use the 50/50 method. Before each level flip a coin. Don't know what to do next though. Maybe heads: start the run over ; tails: skip the level. Or whatever. Just giving inspiration. 😉
Episode 50, another blindfold challenge would be great. And if so I’ll finally quit suggesting it every chance I get lol. But no matter what you do I’m sure it will be great to watch. You haven’t let us down yet Ryu. And for that, we thank you!

Hi Ryu - love your vids. You're the only gamer I watch :) I have an idea for your 50th no skip video: try to put together a set of levels that were run-enders that you never completed. The challenge is to complete them within 50 tries. Unfortunately you won't save the princess if it works out but it's still an idea.

For run 50:
Every 1/2(50%) of your lives expended, you must skip. On life 50 you must skip, on life 25, 12, 6, 3, 2, and 1 you must skip as well.
Might be interesting, especially towards the end.

It's important for us that you get frustrated and please leave no customers complained, since we will ignore it and try to make you hate us. So rather save your time and hopefully you there will be no next time.

Idea for a run: The ALL RUN Run!! Either Normal or Expert, but the caveat is you MUST hold down Y + either left or right! You can’t let go of run, and you can’t stop moving! The HARDEST stages to do like this are the “auto-complete” stages that expect you not to move (they usually have large death gaps).
For the 50th super expert no skip, you could try to clear as many levels as you can in a row with 100 lives (if you finish a run with 60 lives, start up a new one and subtract 40, etc.)

For 50, you could do several runs, but each one is dedicated to either:
A) one specific style, like SMB, SMB 3, SMW, and NSMBU or
B) one specific level theme, like troll, speedrun, kaizo, etc.

#50 is indeed really special. It is popular belief that, in such a case, a blindfolded 5-life single-handed no-skip pacifist all-difficulties run is of good practice and is more likely to succeed than in other circumstances.
