The solution to that POW puzzle is that when activated, the POW block sends out a radial shockwave that moves across the screen really quicly, *but* *not* *instantly,* so you can abuse this by letting the shockwave reach just the munchers and the first set of coins, but not the one under the door on the right.

It's like i work all day, get stressed out throughout the day and I destress by watching your new videos just before I go to bed. I don't even have a switch, or mario but I love watching you dissect these crazy levels. I do agree with you about these newer Rom hacks coming out. It seems that the player experience and fun are out the window and the creators are just happy with cooking up new trolls and then put the game out. They spend so much energy on trolling the player that it's not even fun and the player experience severely suffers. I hope they listen to you and start making some good ol' fashion new Mario content! They can do it if they just spend less energy on trolling the player and more on the 12 midairs......i.....I mean on the levels and music! Hah later bro

well before you ditched joshi and the items you werent softlocked you could just go the intended path and make a spring pow stack to the left to get through the door
Carl explained those pow mechanics in one of his WR for a puzzle on his TH-cam. Apparently the POWs send a wave, and the wave destroys everything it touches, but if you enter (or reset) a room fast enough before the wave touches something, next time, whatever the wave didn’t touch, won’t be destroyed lol.

I am new to mario maker watching as of around February and I knew that the pow wave would take out the closer coins and not the farther if he went through the door between the two. In the puzzle room the reason why it works is because pals affect things in a wave therefore if you time it right it'll hit the coins that are closer to you before it hits the coins that are farther away because the wave did not reach the last coin. 8:00 pow has kind of like a wave that destroys the coins closer to it first, and the coins most furthest the last, it doesn't work on enemies though, all enemies get destroyed immediately no matter how far away they're from the pow, the wave only works with coins (that are on screen)
That fifth level has some serious cheese protection. When any attempts at playing the level normally make you wonder whether you were meant to cheese, meaning when you try to cheese it feels like you are just playing normally, giving up on cheese opportunities concealed as ordinary gameplay. :dizzy:
POWs have a shockwave effect. So coins that are closer will fall soonrt compared to farthet coins. If you take a good look, you can even see the shockwave. The key is to enter the door after the first column of coins drop, but before the last coin.
The second level does not have a soft lock. The intended strategy is to use the spring with a pow ontop of it to enter the Door on the top left side of the room to get to the shellmet.
11 mins in, another way of doing it is activating the hidden blocks below the shellmet in a way that knocks it to the left. That would get it within reach of yoshi from the other room
As a new challenge I'd suggest an all difficulties run. Starting with 1 life (5 lives), and try to get maximum One-Ups per level. Target of this would be to collect the lives for super expert, while finishing the other easier difficulties. Also, I think I watched all super-expert no skips till now. keep on playing!

Stage 4 was the short description why I love Ryu's gameplay. 1) He instantly finds a way to cheese 2) He finds out that this cheese spoils the intended way. still continues the level 3) He uses his skill to continue the level even after losing a cape and never gives up. I totally admire this dedication and skill
