    153 days of daily yoga. This is the longest Ive stuck to any healthy regime. Thank you my beautiful teacher, friend, angel 💕 btw I hurt my right shoulders, back from that 1 arm tapping plank move from last weeks yoga for sensitive knees. Today, its healed and I actually felt really strong doing it ^_^ just 1 of the numerous improvements I got from YWA

    Lately I've been visualizing my mat as my life boat. I am the captain and Adriene is my North Star. Everyday I get on my life boat I arrive at the shores of peace and love ( or at least close lol). Thank you Adriene for shining so bright! 🙏💗

    So excited to be following the calendars this year, 2024. I'm in month 4, and even though I've done yoga sporadically my whole life, this is the longest streak I've done, so grateful. One small win, in January I could not do hero pose, and now I can. Daily practice changes lives. I could not do this without you Adriene, much love always!!

    It's funny isn't it, I didn't used to like core practices. But now I find they help give me that little bit more confidence. I have struggled all my life with self-esteem. I was bullied a lot as a child, and didn't have the easiest of childhoods. But after doing daily yoga alongside you, for one year 332 days, I feel more confidence coming in. I won't let people control my life, or treat me badly anymore. I am worth so much more then that! ❤ so thank you so much Adriene, for helping me to see this, and for always having my back.     its been about a month since i started doing yoga every morning and night. i'm feeling a lot better about myself, i'm losing some weight, i'm getting better sleep, i'm better off mentally, i don't have back pains that often anymore, and my flexibility is back :D i should've started doing this a longgg time ago

      You’ve just inspired me to do the same. It’s been a long time since I’ve done exercise so I wanted to awaken my muscles. Ever since my injury I’ve been scared to exercise. Thanks to you I’ve now got the idea of doing yoga in the morning and night which is something I haven’t done before.

    Switched today's practice with tomorrow's on the October Rekindle Calendar because I needed the extra time (however, my roommate hopped in the shower early so that extra time is moot!). It was very nice! My wrists were not having it today (I notice that more when I'm not hydrated, and I haven't fully restored my hydration levels from sleeping all night haha), but I still felt powerful and strong. My core is stronger than ever--I'm able to do the yogi bicycles with ease, and it only started burning (in that oh-so-good kind of way) near the end of it. I'm so excited to be able to connect to those muscles so easily without straining! First time I've ever noticed that in my life (and I've been doing YWA for years). So glad to be here ❤thank you!

    Such a brilliant yoga practice, but a lot for me today. I had a busy day yesterday, with a lot of moving so am feeling quite exhausted today, with my Fibromyalgia. This practice was a good one to stretch out all the sore points, but i did have to pause the video a few times to breathe, and recover. I'm still glad i did it, and i do feel a bit better afterwards. Thank you so much Adriene, you are awesome. And I can't wait to see the rest, of the yoga practices for April 2024. See you tomorrow, Namaste. 🙏 💙

    Again this senior yogi made adjustments in this practice, swapping the shoulder taps and side plank stretches for some freestyle and peddling so I could enjoy the one legged dogs and lovely lizard moves. And also I could enjoy those beneficial yogi bicycles at the end on our backs, to build my senior core strength 😃👍 and you were right Adriene, no jerking around, just smooth and mindful does it for me. Only 2 days left of Reset 🤔 I have my STILL calendar ready 😉 🙏 ..... 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♂️🙏💕

    I fell out of yoga during the height of the pandemic. I graduated from college, started a new job in a new hospital/new city, and found myself alone in an unfamiliar space during an uncertain time. Through it all, I let my love for myself and my passion for yoga slip away. Over the past week I've started doing videos again and actively putting effort into finding ways to cultivate love for myself once again. It hasn't been a straight path, but I'll always be grateful for the way Adriene's practices make me feel so welcome no matter how long it's been. Grateful for this today ❤️

    Day 3 of COURAGE. I can’t do the side plank. Everytime I try I just fall down. 😂 Yet I’m glad I can stick through the practice. Hopefully in time, with practice I’ll nail the side planks.

      Have you tried using one leg as a "kickstand"? Gives you a bit more stability while you get strong enough to do the full pose. :) th-cam.com/video/aOm869rM3Qw/w-d-xo.html

      Definitely do the kickstand side plank. I did that for about 4 months before I could do the full one and even then it's a little wobbly. Good Luck!

      Every time I fall down I just laugh at myself - not meanly, but lightheartedly. I did it perfectly a few weeks ago, one on each side but every day is different. Keep practicing!

    So proud of myself today! My affirmation was that I would not quit (which tends to happen when we start doing work on the ground). I DID IT! I did all of the yogi bicycles and, for the first time ever, effectively engaged my core so as not to put strain on my neck. Thanks for always pushing us to do our best Adriene!

    Wow! I did this during a previous YWA Calendar and I remember having such a hard time. It was still challenging this time, but I was actually able to get through it. It's so wonderful to be able to notice that I'm building strength.

    Day 27 Trust!This has been my favourite since I started yoga with Adriene, particularly when I didn't follow the calander and had done this strenghtening power yogag everyday for about 6 months! I'm glad it came in May calandar, it seemed much easier to me , and I'm quite amazed by my improvement and strenght! Namaste❤

    I've been listening to The Joyful Movement Show podcast lately and this video was perfect for my body with the hard poses being just long enough to be a good kind of challenge, but not so long it felt like torture. So I found this video to be joyful movement for me.
    Also like someone else said, please retitle the weight loss videos and just focus on benefits that everyone can get regardless of body size (stronger back, stronger arms, stronger muscles to reduce chronic pain, etc)

    I love how 17 minutes of movement can get the heart pumping! Still trying to get wrist strength for my side planks but this time I managed a few with my foot kickstand! 😆

    Great to discover that I can get through this practice better than I did last time. Oh and note of pride here - I’m 70 and fractured my ankle in December and when I was in hospital the nurse asked if I did yoga as I was so flexible! All thanks to Adriene and I recommend it to everyone.

    I haven't been able to do yoga in 4 months due to injury, and I'm definitely feeling it. I'm choosing to be kind to myself in spite of my frustration. Grateful to be practicing with whoever is here in 2024!

    This short practice was a challenge for this senior yogi, after those shoulder taps I had to do my version of those side planks 😅 but it was all good. I SO appreciated that cool down, that’s my daily practice done ! See you tomorrow on the mat Adriene 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏💞

    I've been doing this video many years. Lately I've been in a dark/weird place mentally and physically (mostly mentally, to be fair). I only practice yoga on a daily basis. Today, the moment Adrienne said: "It's beginning to rain here", it begun to rain here too. I can't describe the feeling and I won't even try. I just felt so grateful and blessed for moments like this. We can keep going, we are awesome. Keep going people of the world ❤ thank you Adrienne ❤️

    I have never commented anything on TH-cam, but here it goes: It is my birthday today and I thought that maybe I can skip one practice today just to have a " B-day relax" but then realized - this is what I've been doing to actually relax for last 6 months! Yoga With Adriene has definitely been part of a change for better in my life this year. Thank you for keeping my spirits high and helping me establish a new, good relationship with my body - working WITH it, not ON it. It has been a great learning process, looking forward to much more!

    I started with the 30 days Yoga breath journey. The last day was a bit like a college farewell! A bit sad, a bit exciting, a bit nostalgic!     Ouch this hurts my wrists and I've only been able to make it to around 9 minutes but im going to keep trying everyday until I build that strength!! Thank you:)

      Remember to "claw through the fingertips" to relieve pressure on the wrists. Or use a cushion if your floor is hard :)

    Wow, this felt wonderful and so far no nasty effects related to the back/SI issue I had. I was careful. The left hip was very tight doing the firehydrant but otherwise, this appears to have gone more smoothly than previous visits to this sequence.

      @@zuriwilson-seymore8939 No, my weekends are always quiet. I sometimes take walks but it has been a long time since I had any contacts here. I am actually ready to change the situation. I am not unhappy but this long period in Korea has reached its end. Till I leave, I continue with yoga, meditation and presence practices to be in the flow for what is brought next. 💜🙏

    This was nice following yesterday's ease on the May 2021 calendar. I needed after spending the better part of the day lying around in quarantine. Negative test results for all of us teachers and students so back to school today for the teachers at least.

    Adriene is the least cringy of all yoga teachers! Relatable, funny, warm easy on the ear. I'm a yoga phobic but I love YWA and completed the 30 day TRUE series (albeit with a few days off in between when the studio I was staying in Paris didn't have enough floor space!) and intend to do it over again!

      Jess Ibthink that it’s difficult to live without yoga for those who once tried it. I, personally, cannot imagine even a day, any morning spent without my yoga practice😳my body used to it! So if you don’t have enough time it there are some restrictions connected with your health, even 10-15 mins of easy gentle stretching is better than nothing at all... that’s just my opinion))))

    I love your dog. He's thinking 'you go ahead. Don't worry it won't bother my sleep'. Lol I have been taking Yoga classes for several months. I'm a 61 yr old male who is in very good shape but not very flexible. I'm giving Adriene's sessions a shot. I like that most are 20 to 30 minutes long so that I can do 2 different sessions back to back. Thank you for this Adriene.
