  • I had the great honor to speak with Warren Queton, a member of the Kiowa Tribe, who shared his reflections on the significance of Palo Duro Canyon to the Kiowa Tribe, the Comanche Nation, and the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes. These tribes, in partnership with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and Texas Tech University, hosted a special dance to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Palo Duro Canyon on September 28th, 2024.
