The stores you are visiting are so neat. What a blessing for you to travel to them and play so many different types of guitars!! I’ve really enjoyed coming along virtually and am so glad there are still these types of places thriving. Let’s hope they stay in business!
I wish you could have heard Jackson Jeffreys play and sing his songs at video end. It was copyrighted so we could not post it. Thank you so much for listening in ❤️
Very beautiful guitars and you sound amazing playing them thank you for showing them to me God bless you and have a safe trip can’t wait to see more 👍🏻🤘🏻
That’s a store I could get lost in. Looks like some great museum pieces. Tulsa is a great music town. Makes me think of Leon Russell. He was one of the greatest piano players. Saw him a couple times. On the Mad Dogs & Englishmen tour and then a few years ago. One of the best concerts, great Tulsa guitarist with him. As good as I’ve heard.
I’ve been loving your road trip and enjoy all the beautiful guitars you have shown. I was in the Tulsa shop As a teen. Great place! I only recently found Palen’s in Springfield. Safe travels and stay in tune!
Isn’t that travel Furch something?! It really is very smart! The Furch OM you played at the end was nicely balanced and projected nicely. The cutaway was the best of the three for sure, but depends on what someone is looking for. (Someone had that look on her face! 😂😂😂) I’ve never seen a Legend guitar before. That’s totally new to me. The Kay looks like a boat anchor, but it’s really old and totally fun looking. The inlays are pretty. Most Kay’s were “cheap,” but this one looks like it must have been a more expensive model. The Banner Gibson’s are definitely neat. If you’re going to get an oldie as a female player, that’s one to get - nice way to honor the women who went to work during the war and kept the music flowing during a tough time in the world. This arch top does need a setup. Your Epiphone arch top was definitely in much better shape. I’m sure you’ll find a great Banner acoustic sometime. The Kalamazoo was also neat. Those department store guitars have tons of charm. They are usually made better than some of the cheap acoustic guitars made in more recent years. Yep, so many lovely guitars. ☺️
On our way to Elk City. We are now working our way back home. I did stop at a store today. I thought they had cole Clark guitars. They were all sold - so I could not play one 😟 but they did have a number of nice instrument. I will get that out tonight. Thanks for supporting my channel ❤️
Looking forward to tonight, Got my Mac and Marr 12 string, Beautiful guitar, sounds good, not as loud as others, guess that's why the pickup. I very happy with it, especially the price for what you get. Hope you have a great evening Cindy.
The furch guitars are unreal , even though they have gotten more expensive they are still light years ahead of most big name brands for sound and value
Most mahogany is stained darker, in answer to the Furch Om-CM. I have a Larrivee which I call Blondie because the mahogany back & sides are natural satin finish & almost blonde like maple.
You are so kind. That would have been fun. We are making the trip home now. Bernice and Tillie (dogs) are saying “enough! Get back here and bring me a biscuit” 😀. Thank you so much for your kindness!❤️
Cindy ... I'm not trying to scare you ... but I believe that little Sandboy is still following you on your roadtrip 🤣🤣🤣 Question: Do different shape models, materials, sound and all kind of those things inspire you to play different kind of music or songs ... For me this is the reason why I have all kind of different guitars ... (classical, western, Spanish and I really love my Flamenco Jerónimo Maya guitar) The double-six is a totally different story ...
I found your review of The 'Stache' ... that is ... the 'knock-offs' from €pi and HB ... Must say they both do sound very good ... especially in your arms ... but if you compare them with the 'Big G-brand' there are (ofcourse) quite a lot BIG differences ... (I leave it to others if that is proportional for the price-tag on them ... if it comes to budget)
That Furch LJ-10 Little Jane looks cute, but then again it looks not as handy as you would like ... awkward to dissassemble and even more to put back together again with the strings bangling (is that a word) all around and I think it's poor on tuning ... But that Rainbow-Furch is a very attractive instrument with a superb sound ... I think that one is a 'steal' for $ 2.800 Definitely the best you have shown us till now ... 💎 Wish I was there in Tulsa ... then it probably would become mine ...
@@guitarnotionsI see that we have a Furch-dealer here in The Netherlands ... in Breda ... That is not too far from my hometown ... so I will check that out first ... Maybe he can also order other Furch-models too ...
@@guitarnotions shipping from an extremely hot and dry Tulsa to our 'wet-land' would probably cause it to crack or deform ... do you know if it comes with case?
Lovely Furch Baritone! I've got one also : th-cam.com/video/ZxVpNJ8V38M/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared , Cedar + Mahogany and sounds killer... they are made very well, the action is comfortable and the saddle has tons of spaces to lower if needed.... A thing that I've never seen before is the strap endpin ready to be replaced by an enpin jack if you want to install electronics. So, it was a lot easier for me, something all guitar makers should take note about and apply :)

Have been watching a few of your videos. I appreciate your relaxed, down-to-earth approach.

Thank you! You too!❤️
@@guitarnotions Your welcome.
Thanks! Really enjoying this Road Trip.
Wow! Thank you so much you are so sweet❤️
Cindy! You play beautifully on the Legend!
That Legend was a beautiful. The maple sounded so bright and clean. I had never heard of them before. Nice instrument! Thanks❤️
Another great installment. Cheers. That Furch baritone is still calling your name...
Indeed it is!🤣❤️
The Furch Little Jane! Assembly and disassembly gets easier with practice. Fits neatly in the handheld bag space on a plane.
Great store! Love the old arch tops. Quite a selection. I love seeing all of them so actually playing them must be a dream!
That old Ksy was so neat. It was so heavy- not sure what they made it with. 😀 having a fun time. Thanks for watching ❤️
Wow! That store is amazing!
Loved them all but that rainbow? Furch is so my number one pick!
I an really impressed with Furch. Still dreaming about that baritone

Quite the road trip thanks for sharing
On our way home now. It’s been fun for sure. ❤️. Thank you!
Cool traveler guitar, Love the flame on that legend , the history behind those old guitars you could write a book. 🙂
So true❤️
Hello Cindy ,reminds of a kid in a sweet shop, glad you are having a great holiday
I have enjoyed this trip a lot. Great guitars but more importantly I met many great people! Thank you for listening in❤️

I jammed with the song writer / singer Jackson Jeffreys. TH-cam took it off due to copyrights. Check out his youtube - new album. Awesome songs!!❤️

If I lived in Springfield Palen would be my go to place. I loved the atmosphere and staff. It felt like you were at home. 😀

That store was so much fun. Did you see the robot made of old amplifier parts. Its so funny! Thanks again☁︎❤️
Cindy - I love you doing these road trips and showing us so many guitars. I can’t get out due to open heart surgery.
Sorry to hear about the surgery. Hope you get well soon. ❤️❤️
That gorgeous rosewood cutaway looks great in you
So many great guitars…so many Choices! ❤️
What a great guitar store and such a beautiful selection.
Couldn’t help notice the dehumidifier in the corner with half a tank of water in it.🙂
Those Furch guitars are great. That was a really neat store. where to next? Really enjoying your trip Cindy.

I can't see or hear a Santa Cruz without seeing the late Don Edwards playing his signature model.
Yes and They are beautiful instruments for sure❤️
The furch guitars are unreal , even though they have gotten more expensive they are still light years ahead of most big name brands for sound and value
I agree in fact I am sold on them!! ❤️
I like the Kay and the Larrivee
That Kay was unique to see and play. It was so heavy. Like plywood 🤣 quite neat!!
I like the Legend
I never heard of them but enjoyed that guitar very much. It played beautifully. ❤️
The Santa Cruz was top shelf. Loved the Furchs but that baritone is still playing on my mind. Can you describe a guitar as deep?
It is deep. Tuned B-E-A-D-F#-B. It is so mellow. It’s definitely on my Christmas list🤣
The sunburst Furch had most projection!
Beautiful instrument - love those furch guitars. 😀

Your just 200 miles from me. If I had known you was coming this way I would have told you to come by and get some lemonade and sit on my porch.

Was that last Furch cedar or spruce top? The rosewood one. I know the blue series was cedar.
If I remember right I think it’s spruce. I will have to get back to you on that one to be sure❤️
I slowed down the video and zoomed in when you’re looking at the bridge pins and I think it’s a yellow series GC-CR, cedar and rosewood

How cool!!! Those were made by sears way back and have a solid top! Nice!! Thanks for sharing 😀❤️
What part of oklahoma do you live?
I live in California ❤️ looking forward getting home again. A roadtrip definitely makes you appreciate home ❤️
You're in trouble when it comes to playing the Furch. lol
They are definitely awesome guitars.
I think I w😂ould love that kind of 'trouble' ...

That is so true about the end jack. Anyone could install a pickup if its ready to receive one. Very astute observation. Thanks!!❤️
