D18, TP48 blue chip, paige ETI capo, and I'm going back and forth between elixir nanoweb pb mediums and the mediums d'addarios that you use. They are both great strings but I'd say the elixirs stay in tune better.
@@Cut2Finish Elixirs are great strings. I’ve just always leaned towards the D’Addario because I like the way the coating wears downs on them. Elixirs have always sounded better, to me ,right out of the box though.
Great first video, Matthew! Looking forward to some good tutorials that start with the basics and build from there!
@@kstewart9328 Thank you for the kind words! We have to walk before we can run.
Great video and advice Matthew! I wish you the best of luck with this new endeavor!
@@boomersooner87 Thank you for the kind words!
I have an Elliot capo because I’m easily persuaded by guitar players I like. Oh I like a TAD 60 bluechip.
@@bobsmith-ji2uh Those are nice selections for sure. I hope to get me an Elliot one day. That Kat Eyz capo came in. I really like it too.
Wow excellent video. Can’t wait to see more!
@@Slewfoot33 thanks man! Hit me up with some ideas.
Nice

Martin Lifespan Treated PB Medium 13-56 Strings / Dunlap Prime Tone 1.0 Pick.
I hear those are great strings. Those will be going on the "need to try" list!
D-18!!!😂
@@steveb9325 Definitely play a D18 if you want to be heard.
@@MatthewGentryGuitar hahaha yes sir!
For me it’s a Martin CSAA D-28 1937, Martin Lifespan PB mediums, Blue Chip TAD 60 and Elliott elite twist capo. All that is lacking is skill 😅
@@stonehouse1 awesome! I bet that skill is there too.
