I'm Ethiopian who happen to work with a lot of Kenyans. I also travel to Nairobi every now and then due to my work. First off, Nairobi is a very vibrant and a beautiful city. Don't let this video about Kibera fool you even though it's a reality. But all in all Kenyans are a very beautiful people. Very hard workers, professionals and easy to work with. They know how to party too. Each and every stay in Nairobi has been very memorable. I can see myself living there because of the people. I wish them all the best. Much love from Ethiopia.

Tony guessing your age and nationality was amazing!😱
Amazing
Well I think him guessing the age was amazing. But guessing the country was just him saying the most popular white man's country he has heard of😅. US dollars are even commonly used in Nairobi, so USA is usually the first country that comes to mind when kids see a Caucasian. In fact as a kid I always thought America was the country where all white men come from😅
Point of correction, Kibra isn't the biggest slum I the world. It's the biggest in Africa and the third largest in the world..
Very true. Kibera is 4th largest in the world. But the largest in Africa.
The largest in the world is in Pakistan then 2nd in Mexico then 3rd in Mumbai,India the the 4th is Kibera, Kenya then 5th is in South Africa.
@@daisybetut Population census 2019 debunks the same claim.Kibras Population is less than 200k,check knbs website for more details.
😂😂😂 wakenya always there to defend their own,, still the largest on the continent
@@wanjalajesse1694 nope you should check the census stats..you know where to get them.
The caption is just wild,,,,,,kibra has no more than 270k people,,,,,,, inflated figures
I'm kenyan, thanks Drew and welcome to my country

What are you thanking him for? For showing poverty porn?

nice one drew!!
Why am I seeing lots of poverty tourism from you now a days.
It’s offensive at this point. Drew only does these videos to Brown/black countries. His portrayal and inherent bias of black and brown countries is astonishing.
He needs to send some money to the people in Kibera because he made lots of money off his video on y tube .Presently the place is flooded and the people are in more misery than before.
@@Nate-hw1nc UMMM< those are the only countries that have this poverty
All the years I’ve watched Drew there are people criticizing him! Wow! He is such a positive and connecting force🙌🏽 He brings attention to people in parts of the world that are less-traveled. He tries to remove fears from travelers so they will visit these places… open their hearts… remind people of the humanity everywhere. Please don’t be so critical!!! There’s no one on the world who has done what he has done. And he’s so young and has a long life ahead to connect more people 💚 I’m very grateful and I’ve always wanted to go to Kenya so this video was very special 🤩
Thanks for this, i have driven by Kibera a few times but never stopped for a visit.
You never fail to deliver. Thank you Drew for creating content that entertains and teaches others about the world. BTW, I get lots of positive comments when I wear your "Just Go" shirts and hats.
Drew my guy welcome to our home.. You can how people live in peace inspite of the many challenges & inequalities.. Again props to your raw journalistic skills, peace brother.
Thanks for visiting our country
The fact that we get free travel videos on TH-cam by Drew Binsky is truly a gift.., keeping the education and knowledge alive! 👍👍👍
Wooaah drew your in kenya bro im your biggest fan since 2018
Ask an 11-year-old or even older kid in the US all those questions, and they will be clueless. Well done, Tony.
if all goes well in 25 years to come that will not be a slum anymore😍😍
Insha Allah(Godwilling)
Thanks for visiting our country kenya
Wow alot kenyas speak pretty good english .
I am Kenyan and I must say great video😀
Some people might end up thinking the entire country looks like this. Lol.
That is the problem of not giving context. A single story as Chimamada likes to put it.
Like a shadow in the sun, they only see darkness where brightness abounds.
Dharavi is a residential area in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It has often been considered to be one of the world's largest slums. Dharavi has an area of just over 2.39 square kilometres (0.92 sq mi; 590 acres) and a population of about 1,000,000.
Kibras Population is 185k,census 2019.

What was the Payment for the slum??
Cool

Is there a gang in Kibera? You were probably conned.. Kibera isn't the largest slum in the world..
I would appreciate to see also the developed and positive side of Nairobi.. Great stuff over there.
True kibera ain't the largest slum in the world,,,, kibera has no more than 270k people,,,, I think they should present where the get these figures from,,,,,,
Yo When I get older I wanna Travel the World With my girlfriend just like you… thank you for being so inspirational
Drew bisnky I'm one of your fans since your days in Facebook. I live in Nairobi kenya in Eastleigh it's very good neighborhood kindly let me accompany you in my neighborhood .
truly fabulous piece of journalism
Last video you said Hong Kong was given to China by the British = Incorrect
Now you say the biggest slum in the world = Kenya lmfao have you been to India?
You say most people in Slums don't work = Drew you must try to educate yourself before you say it's so in video 😅
Actually India ( Mumbai) Slum is changing now
@@jamesboth3785 Bro yes it's changing, but it's still a slum by western standards.
Understand my comment is to make Drew realise he spreads false information in his videos
Its not to condemn any country.
He doesn't do background research before starting to shoot😢
@@kylo5418 yeah it really shows. DREW is winging it - he traveled to many countries Yet says people in Slums in other areas don't work 🤭🤣
Zero research done = He relies on the local guide lmfao
Give the dude a break..
u are brave to go there dude
What is there to be afraid of? He has a great guide and the people seem friendly.
Oh yeah? What dangers did you see?
That tour guide was so fluent.
los kenianos son un pueblo muy hermoso. Muy trabajadores, profesionales y fáciles de trabajar. Ellos también saben divertirse.
I'm a Kenyan and this vlog seems to show things that I haven't seen at Kibera. I'm like dude you're exaggerating 😛😛 !!!!!! WHICH GANGS??????????????????????
Ati population 1 million,,, yet there are no more than 270k people in kibera,,,,
Hey drew please visit Uganda 🇺🇬 and take a trip to rakai
Despite poverty, they're happy people. ❤🇵🇭
The incisors on Tony haha
7:18 mudhalvan movie scene 😱
Why are they going so fast?
“Because they are feeling that they are loaded”😂😂
The opposition thing that guy mentioned isn't right 😂🤦🏾♂️, there's a huge tribalism problem in Kenya but Kibera has almost everyone from the major tribes😂And also it's true Kibera and Kenya is different, people are working that's why we're ahead of many African countries
We are in opposition bruv😂😂🙌
Nice
Am Kenyan next time visit the rift valley and Mt Kenya areas
Yes i enjoyed this video very much Drew ❤😊
Are you still here in kenya I want to show you around
Director n mwongo sana atafutwe😂😂
Drew is shocked the kid guessed he was from America. He might as well have I’m American on his T-shirt. 😂😂
Kibra is somewhere I wouldn't want my worst enemy to live.
Wuaooooooo 😊
I only commenting because of Tony big up to Tony
I was born in katwekera.... And studied in Olympic primary school 😂... But that's way back in the early 2000s
That tour guide gave you the damn truth
Tony is smart
Drew welcome to my country but quick correction is that those people who denied you to film them were not gangs ..they are just locals having tete at tete ..
We are in Opportion😂😂😂😂
NGOs hype population in Kibera inorder to get more funding the population ranges from 150k to 250k people. This doesn't duplicate how the rest of the country looks like.
My favourite in kenya
Kenya the country of Kikuyu shareholders 😢😢😢😢
You don't like it?
The biggest slum is Dharavi in Mumbai India,
Karibu kenya thts how we live no gangs but just common thieves u can find anywhere on earth
nice
Buena
You'd never expect Sean Paul lost HP was found in Kenya 😂😂😂.
Drew karibu kenya hakuna matata
There nothing like a Gang in Kibera..You we're conned Bro.
African magic tony have
have you pay for taxation if you have paid welcome to kenya feel free
Watching my mouth agape like I don't live in Kenya 😂😂
Around 300K people live in Kibra and not a million
I wanna go travelling with you. Be so interesting
GANG DUDES..
Así nos damos cuenta como esta el mundo
Please come to pakistan again
Off cause they always to the slums.
6:22
are you sure?
Was a teacher here different schools and according to census the population is way less than one million. Nairobi population is about 4.3 million so if you say kibera is 1m people this translates 25% of Nairobi is in kibera which makes no sense!!😂❗
🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
I really enjoyed the video Kenya begets slump the other way i feel so bad seeing people suffering like this but is more better than Haiti
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Correction. It's not the largest slum in the world
Which is?
Kibera has no more than 270k people,,,, the figures are highly inflated,,,,
@@rogerroger530soweto
Where was the “Dont shoot” bit at?? Did I miss it… I don’t think so? Bit misleading to think in the start there was an actual threat to watch later through the video and see it was just don’t use your camera pls…
☁ Puff Puff Pass ☁ Namaste
“This is the most feared part of Nairobi” then a man chewing an aphrodisiac appears 😂😂😂
Should've gave the smart kid a few quid ger him started
Must be heaven for a Rastafarian despite the challenges.
Anyone that knows nothing about Kenya will see this video and think I ain't going there,it's really not all like that and that should have been mentioned in this video
“ We can live and survive down here at the slum, but you cant “
the landlord to the middle class (probably)
