I'm Ethiopian who happen to work with a lot of Kenyans. I also travel to Nairobi every now and then due to my work. First off, Nairobi is a very vibrant and a beautiful city. Don't let this video about Kibera fool you even though it's a reality. But all in all Kenyans are a very beautiful people. Very hard workers, professionals and easy to work with. They know how to party too. Each and every stay in Nairobi has been very memorable. I can see myself living there because of the people. I wish them all the best. Much love from Ethiopia.
I am a mix of Mayan, Inca, Aztec, and Eskimo who happen to work with the entire Kenyan nation. I travel to Nairobi every few seconds of the day due to my fantasy. To be clear Nairobi is....errr...what should I say now? One part of me says dress up a pig and put lipstick on it and try to persuade the world it's a runway model. The other part of me says I should not be seen trying to pull the wool over people's eyes for something so glaring, particularly when the said people are a thousand times smarter and well informed than me. Ok I give up. Happy Passing Off Day As Ethiopian, *Njoroge* , my dear Kenyan friend.
Well I think him guessing the age was amazing. But guessing the country was just him saying probably the ONLY white man's country he has heard of😅. US dollars are even commonly used in Nairobi, so USA is usually the first country that comes to mind when kids see a Caucasian. In fact as a kid I always thought America was the country where all white men come from😅
Very true. Kibera is 4th largest in the world. But the largest in Africa. The largest in the world is in Pakistan then 2nd in Mexico then 3rd in Mumbai,India the the 4th is Kibera, Kenya then 5th is in South Africa.

It’s offensive at this point. Drew only does these videos to Brown/black countries. His portrayal and inherent bias of black and brown countries is astonishing.
He needs to send some money to the people in Kibera because he made lots of money off his video on y tube .Presently the place is flooded and the people are in more misery than before.
All the years I’ve watched Drew there are people criticizing him! Wow! He is such a positive and connecting force🙌🏽 He brings attention to people in parts of the world that are less-traveled. He tries to remove fears from travelers so they will visit these places… open their hearts… remind people of the humanity everywhere. Please don’t be so critical!!! There’s no one on the world who has done what he has done. And he’s so young and has a long life ahead to connect more people 💚 I’m very grateful and I’ve always wanted to go to Kenya so this video was very special 🤩
You never fail to deliver. Thank you Drew for creating content that entertains and teaches others about the world. BTW, I get lots of positive comments when I wear your "Just Go" shirts and hats.
Dharavi is a residential area in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It has often been considered to be one of the world's largest slums. Dharavi has an area of just over 2.39 square kilometres (0.92 sq mi; 590 acres) and a population of about 1,000,000.
That's not true anymore I'm black American and I know that not all of Africa looks like this and it's a very beautiful country. Just like people on Africa probably think all of America is rich and has no hoods

Kibera is strategically placed there by non governmental organizations and charities especially from the west to fleece their own people in the name of charity works and to upgrade their kids CVs, government once tried to upgrade but it was in vain people refused to move to better houses.
Kibera was amazing for the way you pull out the positive of living under such conditions. Despite the hardships, everyone is working and trying hard to live the best way they know how. Resilient and hard-working is my takeaway. I will keep up with you and 'visit' all the countries you have. Vow to myself. The shirt goes with me to Peru in June, and from there, who knows!

Was a teacher here different schools and according to census the population is way less than one million. Nairobi population is about 4.3 million so if you say kibera is 1m people this translates 25% of Nairobi is in kibera which makes no sense!!😂❗

Is there a gang in Kibera? You were probably conned.. Kibera isn't the largest slum in the world.. I would appreciate to see also the developed and positive side of Nairobi.. Great stuff over there.
True kibera ain't the largest slum in the world,,,, kibera has no more than 270k people,,,, I think they should present where the get these figures from,,,,,,
Drew welcome to my country but quick correction is that those people who denied you to film them were not gangs ..they are just locals having tete at tete ..
NGOs hype population in Kibera inorder to get more funding the population ranges from 150k to 250k people. This doesn't duplicate how the rest of the country looks like.
The opposition thing that guy mentioned isn't right 😂🤦🏾♂️, there's a huge tribalism problem in Kenya but Kibera has almost everyone from the major tribes😂And also it's true Kibera and Kenya is different, people are working that's why we're ahead of many African countries
The best thing about this slum is water pipe line has been installed like a electricity lamp pose so avoid theft if this pipes would have installed down people can sell pipes to the market to buy water bottles😂
Anyone that knows nothing about Kenya will see this video and think I ain't going there,it's really not all like that and that should have been mentioned in this video
Kibra is, "the biggest slum in Africa" for political and financial reasons. A census was done a few years ago and there were barely 250,000 people. However, NGOs push the narrative of the biggest slum to get funding from donors. That's why you read stories of agencies discontinuing funding some projects in Kenya after discovering the lies NGOs perpetuate to get funding. There are also tourist agencies that play on the consciences of people who are travelling in order to make a quick buck. It looks like you are one such victim. Before you send your money to an NGO in Kenya, make sure you verify the integrity of the officials of the NGO you want to support. Otherwise, the money you want to give to these people in the video will end up in the pockets of some happy NGO officials.
