I'm assuming you repacked the trans axle with grease. What type of grease did you use?...I'm changing the differential on mine which is simplier then yours with the center gear without the differential within a differential box to the side.. mine is contained around the gear held in by metal plates held on by pins....The grease suggested for these is benalene 920 which is about $25.00 for an 8oz tube which would require about 3 tubes or 20ozs...Mine had a mixture of grease with the 00 grease being around the differential and a darker grease off to the sides...I'm looking for a cheaper substitute of grease for the Benalene 920...Any thoughts?...Super S cotton picker or John Deere Corn head?
