Yeah the bigger bull reds aren’t that good. Also they are hard to clean. So it’s just best to let ‘em go and keep them slots.

I was using a 6oz spider weight. Good for fishing anywhere there is a strong current.
How do you get to the north jetty I been waiting go on that side
You go to the fisherman’s wharf in Port Aransas & let them know you wanna take the north jetty boat. It’s like 18$. It’s located to the right of Virginia’s restaurant. Then they give you the times where the boat runs to drop off & pick up. 👍🏽
