I believe this one was on a small Rapala countdown (brown trout color or rainbow trout color). They are reallly good for trout. Check out my rainbow trout vids where I show the lures more. 👍🏽

They are called korkers castrax. They fit over your shoes. Help a lot with the slippery rocks. Definitely would recommend them to anyone who is gonna go jetty fishing.

Carolina rig with circle hook works best for me out there & I like to use No roll weights. Also rod/reel setup depends on if you’re gonna be boat fishing or bank fishing.

That particular reel is a bait casting style reel. So when you’re reeling, the reel is on top. A spinning reel is on the bottom, maybe you’re thinking of a spinning reel?

Thanks! And I was using a 4000 size Shimano nasci with 15lb suffix 832 braid & a 7’ MH quantum rod

In this vid I was using a 9’ Daiwa Emcast & an 8’ Shimano teramar. I also have a 13’ Sonik rod I use for carp/buff fishing.

It was actually a gar bro, but initially that’s what was running through my mind was that’s a big ole bull. Crazy though!
