You're right not to throw away all those tiny bits of flowers, I'm forever making tiny flocking to make little plants and things and they would be perfect! Flower arrangements in your case, terrain in mine.❤ Gretchen, your 'unsequentialness' is adorable and, in your experimentation and playing, we learn stuff! I had a phase of making real hats, nothing to write home about but I'm set with headgear for whatever occasions may pop up in future, I also have a lot of stuff I can use in my doll house as a consequence!
Thank you Ann for letting me know that I wasn't being a hoarder. I just felt like those tiny bits could really come in handy for something and it seemed to shame to throw them away! Also appreciate your feedback about me being out of sequence! I'm really glad several dogs have let me know that they don't mind I was just worried that it would be confusing to follow! Because it's truly the way I create an experiment to see what will work! I usually have to piece through a couple videos to collect the parts that go together 🤭☺️😂! Oh wow what an adventure making REAL life sized HATS !!!I bet you do really have some great scraps!!!😃💖🤭☺️

My thoughts start bouncing around when the creative juices get flowing, too. It doesn't seem odd to me at all. 😊 Of course he out-of-town guests will want to wear fancy hats to the wedding, and will need lovely hat boxes to transport the hats safely. I hope Marguerite has gotten word from her intended about why he left, where he is now, and when he'll be returning!

Girl you were in the zone for sure! The lace and ribbons and mod podge were all getting one heck of a work out but look at all the beautiful thinks you created! I did really love the little hatbox from when you were a little girl, it was so cute!
I truly was Nessie I was having a Ball! My floor was a mess bits and pieces and tiny scraps everywhere 😂🤭☺️It was so Crazy looking at the hat box and hat from my ARCHIVES! IN MY MIND I COULD SEE the types of things I make now but I didn't have to materials or the skill set. When I look at things like that I'm so glad I didn't give up!🥹💖😃😃

Thank you, Gretchen, for sharing all these ideas! I don't know about you, but when I was in kindergarden (a hundred years ago, I think it was...) we made life-size Easter Bonnets out of papermaché and wallpaper using a round bowl for the mold. This video brings back so many memories and shows such a perfect technique to make miniature "Easter Bonnets" that can be worn all year round. Thank you so much for the inspiration and trip down memory lane!

I want to thank you again for my beautiful Christmas gift, the hat box and tiny perfume bottle and blouse. I let my mother add them to her Victorian era doll house. I add the fantastic billfold with cash peaking out to my dollhouse. 😊😊🙏🙏💕

Ms. Gretchen, Have you ever made baskets with Aida cross-stitch cloth? I have seen cute little baskets at my local miniature shop. So far, I haven’t found any instructions on the internet. I LOVE any time you show things you made as a little girl! 🤗What a cool technique with the mod podge and paper. My husband is a teacher and that brown paper towel is everywhere -school 😂 All these techniques look do-able and fun. Ah the days when ladies- and gentlemen wore hats to important events. 😌 Aw the burlap hats are just darling! I'd wear those😉 (I'm sure the dolls will love some potpourri ) Great video Gretchen. 🥰✨

A hat wearer, this reminded me of the hats and boxes my Grandmother had when I was growing up, which I was fortunate to inherit. I have lots of trim and it is time to put it to use to make hats and boxes for my dolls, lol. Beautiful work, Gretchen!
Yes it's so true! All the beautiful women in their lovely hats are such a strong childhood memory for me as well!! During the time period of my doll house roughly between 1901 and 1910, A well-dressed woman didn't leave the house without a hat regardless where she was going! You're so fortunate to have inherited some of those beautiful hats and the lovely boxes which were amazing within themselves! Yes you definitely must make some for your Dolls!!😀🤭☺️💖 THANKS for SHARING!

Guests are coming to the rooming house.... Maybe the rooming house can open a mini store and make some men and women's clothes accessories shoes etcetera too sell at the store. I hope there are some extra rooms for guests. Gretchen is going to be busy. lol, I guess the dolls hire humans to do the work very efficiently, lolol.

The Grand Opening of the Dress Shop was it Christmas time so there's plenty of footage about it! Also, there has been a rotation of rooms and room renovations in the rooming house for additional guests. So you have plenty of videos to catch up on! ENJOY!💖💖💖

And thank you for asking 😊 Well, it's kind of up in the air because Marguerite is undecided on when she wants to get married so the whole rooming house is on pins and needles waiting for her to decide! There will be update soon as to "What's happening among the DOLLS"! But just so you know her parents will send out invitations when it's confirmed 💖☺️🤭
