Congratulations on the new additions to the doll family, Gretchen. I watched this video at bedtime, last night, and I was still smiling when I woke this morning. I love those dolls! .....they have so much life-like character in their faces, like a biography of their lives. They surely found the best forever home with you! You especially tugged at my heartstrings when you explained that you made the men dolls arms a tad longer for hugging and carrying things. What a kind, loving daddy taught you that life lesson! I love you, sister. Thank God for your gentle, inspiring presence in our lives!

I hope he's pleased. 😊 I laughed when you called extra-long arms "Daddy arms" because of my IRL Daddy- Dad says his nickname in college was "Gorilla" because his arms were so long. 😮 They look normal to me, though. I love the character in the faces of these beautiful dolls! How nice that they're all getting a complete body makeover; I'm wishing some pipe cleaner, medical gauze and hot glue could do that for me!😂 But all kidding aside, great job and looking forward to seeing how you dress them!

I am in LOVE 😍😍!!! He is so handsome after his body modification! And I have a serious soft spot for salt and pepper gray haired, brown men LoL (been married to one for 34 years) 😄 "Daddy arms" are the best! Broad shoulders because they can hold the weight of the world! I think to save money doll makers use one mold for both male and female and that's why the male bodies aren't very bulky. His wife is beautiful! I can't wait to see how you dress them and what their names will be🤗

I agree these are beautifully sculpted and I’m so glad they found a loving home. And it’s special that you appreciate dolls that represent older folks. And I agree male dollhouse dolls often look like female ones they plopped a male head on. You really fixed his daddy arms 😅Haha

I'm always mesmerized when I watch you make dolls. I really love the man doll. He has such a gentle, beautiful face. I think it's his eyes. There is a comforting familiarity about him. I can't wait to find out who he is! I'm sure he's relieved to have arrived in an exceptional place for dolls😍✨

Thank you so much Veronica! 🤗 Yay! Another DOLLMAKER! I'm So glad to hear this! I used to always want dollhouse dolls that looked like ME but they didn't make them back in the day (1970's.) It took me years to get to this level! Lolololol! But These Dolls i found on Ebay. But the Dolls in My videos the majority of them i made from Polymer clay using similar technique for the bodies. I appreciate for watching, commenting and allowing me to share.

I loved this video. The one doll I completed turned out ok and it was wire in a stuffed cloth body. The second one has a head I completed probably two months ago. This head was much better and following your video for curly hair it was great. Im stuck now. I have tried to complete the hands and lower arms with sculpy several times but it just is not working. The clay is to soft to sculpt any fingers. I cant seem to make it work.I believe I will look for some arms and legs online or this poor doll will never get finished. I really like the way your doll bodys look with the heavier coated wire and cloth wrap. Im going to make the body your way as soon as I get my hands on some hands. Lol
Be patient with yourself! Hands to me are the most challenging. They take a lot of time and practice. Are you using original sculpey or SUPER Sculpey? Super Sculpey Living Doll, better than original sculpey. For the fine details. But in the mean time there are molds online and DOLLS parts to get you by while you are learning. Each part is a different skill. Give yourself Grace... And try again,🙂☺️💖
