The figure looks great and I agree wish they would've given him a full omega beam head sculpt shooting it. As well an angry head sculpt without him using the beams. As well the arms are re-used of the Mongul figure that's why he has veins on the arms. I wish they would've remade the arms even made a bicep swivel for it since the main issue I have the arms are always at an angle instead of being fully straight. Lastly, this isn't really Darkseid's classic look since he never had a cape like that and his blue wasn't light or skin. This is actually inspired by the Superpowers Kenner figure which was drawn by Jack Kirby for the packaging which he did help Kenner make some figures on unique designs even characters that did not exist in the DC comics but only in the Kenner line.
I got him today and loved the look of the figure but sadly the arms pop off easily it’s frustrating. Mcfarlane need to up his game bcuz this figure is hard to make poses with unfortunately. It’s still great to have on ur shelf .

I might have to pass on this one. He's hard to find, and I already have the Mezco Darkseid, which fits in decently well with Mcfarlane figures despite being 1/12 scale.

Gotta agree, I would have preferred a capeless rocky skinned Darkseid whose arms don't pop off so easily, personally.
