I've liked Jinjer for a long time, but when I saw this live version, I was sold on seeing them live. Great breakdown of one of the most perfect and tightest performances I've ever seen.
Great analysis. As a non-musician that in-depth perspective helps me appreciate what I enjoy so much about their music. I Speak Astronomy is epic and the official video is beautiful. There aren't any top-quality live performance videos which is too bad because her voice has grown in belting power since the studio recording. Pit Of Consciousness is great in both the official and live in Kiev versions - but as a reaction, definitely do the Live In Kiev when you get to that one. Great song all around and the most savage growls of anything they've released. Tati's voice is constantly growing in power and control with her growls too and modern performances of this song are equally savage - if you are curious, look up the Live in Israel full set bootleg uploaded by Idan Shahar and use the link in the top comment to see a pretty good bootleg. When I saw them live the first time I was standing next to a stack of speakers and I could feel those low growls shaking me to my bones.

I bet you'll have to listen to it a lot of times to get them right. : ) 6:05 - See that laptop next to Vlad? That's what makes the band perform the songs very close to the studio versions everytime. Let me explain: they have songs with intros that are pre-recorded, as well as some sounds they play in the middle of the songs, guitar tracks and more recently, vocal harmonies. Vlad launches them from his laptop and he also has a metronome (or a click track) to keep in time so that all the pre-recorded tracks fall perfectly into their own places in the song.
That is one tight band. Always on point. Great reaction and analysis as well. Keep doing what you're doing, mate. Really appreciate how you take the time to look at everyone's playing. They for sure deserve it. Cheers!
