I've been watching NOTHING but Jinjer reactions for the past 9 months and I never get sick of hearing anything from Jinjer, this is my current obsession!!
Great reaction. Let's see an Outlander live reaction. Back in 2014. It's a little older, but she looks/sounds amazing. This is back when there were 2 guitars, a bass, and a drummer. Can't go wrong with Outlander. It's my favorite song.
Tatiana is the QUEEN, Vann! Four years of getting into this band and she still gives me goosebumps....and yes Vlad & Eugene & Roman just kill it every song.....such a damn tight band.
Hi Man thanks for the shout out, I'm the guy that said Tati is the singer & Jinjer is the Band. No Worries I've been listening to them since before Cloud Factory... But the guys do deserve the respect too. And trust me your not the only one that thinks Jinjer is Tatiana upon first listen..
Second comment. This is how I discovered Jinjer playing on the tv while getting a tattoo. Had no idea Tatiana was a woman until I looked up. Blew my mind. Instant fan.
Actually, if you watch the video for the song Ape he has his sticks backwards in that song. So I agree with the person who said "in some songs" and that it "alters the sound a bit". I think it's a sound-based choice. Edited to say that I loved your face during the ending and it's time for Judgement and Punishment. 🤘🏻
@@j.f.fisher5318 hard choice. But given the fact that this is a fairly new listener, I say official music video. If someone specifically states they appreciate live stuff, I recommend live right off the bat. If not, I play it safe 😉
@@roxyrichter6654 Yeah, he also plays with them backwards in the Teacher, Teacher video. It gives a "fuller" sound and also less chance of breaking a stick on the more drum intensive songs.
@@roxyrichter6654 funny thing is, when I watch the live video now, I'm imagining scenes from the studio one because I've watched it so many times haha. And Tati's vocals are a bit low in the mix in the live one. I'm betting that the recording of her vocals wasn't clear enough for Dmitry Kim to clean it up well enough to make it higher in the mix without it sounding weird - he did the mixing on it. So I'm 50/50.
I Subscribe to your channel cause you react to jinjer! Much respect bro! Always good to get all these metal heads in and WE ALL have a taste in our own music. One love!
Great reaction! They are easily one of the best live bands I've seen in the past 5 years in any genre. If you can see them, DO. You should check out On the Top (live in Kiev), Outlander, Judgement & Punishment Live in Melbourne 2020 (More reggae!), and Retrospection.
If you like the Reggie sound at the end of this one, I think you would love Judgment and Punishment by Jinjer. Another great "Female Fronted" band is Unleash the archers and their track Awakening
Sticks backwards is a technique some drummers use only part of the time especially for tapping the rims. They will often flip between which side they use for different sounds.
1. Clicked like a bullet! 2. Great song and great reaction! 3. Great performance from this amazingly talented band! 4. If drums is your thing, Vlad is your man! Listen to "Ape". 5. Metal with reggae, ska, jazz, a bit of rap, name it, they have it all, and beautifully mashed together! 6. "Outlander", "On The Top" live in Kiev or "Captain Clock" live are great ones to follow. 7. The four of them are just brilliant, but of course at first what draws you in is Tatiana´s schockingly good dual voice, hipnotic stage presence, natural beauty and overall persona, so don´t apologize...we´ve all been there :)
I can't wait to see Jinjer live. Hopefully the postponed show I am going to happens later this year. Love the reaction. Thank you for entertaining us during this lockdown. 😁
He may use the sticks backwards on some tracks. Kinda just alters the sound a bit to fit the style or aesthetic. Idk for sure though, wasn't me who said that lol
Its many years since i played drunms, but I had headless stiks, Blunt in each end. When Ive noticed Vlad plying with blunt end on his sticks Ive allways thought he used some sticks similar to those, balance must be crap if you flip em around.
You should do a jinjer day every week, lol. Get you thru the journey. You should check out Judgement (& Punishment) live in Melbourne, On the Top, Pit of Consciousness (both also available live from Kiev), and theres a pretty good version of I Speak Astronomy (live from Summerbreeze 2018) if you want more of her soaring type cleans. Enjoying your stuff, brother.
I know you love the drums. Check out Vlad’s drum kit and how he’s sitting above it, like he’s floating. That is very unique. And he’s hitting those skins so hard. That dude is sprinting through most of these songs. Love that.
Just finished checking out all of your Jinjer reactions. Heard you say you pay close attention to singers and wanted to hear more female fronted metal bands. If you react to Nightwish, “ Devil and the deep dark ocean “ or “Romanticide”(live) you will not be disappointed. They are symphonic metal band from Finland. Floor Jansen is the most versatile female singer alive today, Dimash is the only singer with better range but he is strictly Opera/Pop.
thanx that you see and hear the whole band, because they all absolutely phenomenal, also Vlad the drummer!!!!!!! :-) maybe you can do an older song: Jinjer - Outlander > uploaded by failure .color greetings from germany
GUYS our boy here only needs 20 likes a post and he'll do the video. How about "Just Another" of course that's a given, Their new drop Pit of Consciouness live in Kiev is crazy good and I think he'd really enjoy Jinjer's 2 Bus Invanders episodes, I'm sure Tati's Amazing humble Cuteness will steal his heart too. plus you get to see them normal on the tour bus... OK see what I did here if this gets 20 you gotts do them all! haha!
Check out the Live Version of Cloud Factory, Retrospection is an awesome one too. They also just released a live video for Judgement and Punishment which is awesome.
Bruh. I'm gonna keep suggesting it. You want killer drums with killer guitars and killer female fronted? You have to pretty please with sugar on top do Unleash the Archers, Awakening, live session. Also. You absolutely have to do Arch Enemy, War Eternal. PLEEEEEAAASE! You won't regret either song

Hey Van! just found you a few days ago. you seem like a sharp dude. I watched your reaction to Sober by Tool ( my favorite band btw). I think you'd really dig this band called Twelve Foot Ninja. I'd recommend their flagship song "One hand killing". They are from Australia and they have a really unique sound. Ive come to really love this band. Have a good one bro. Stay cool
These days we all gotta be "the one." Great reaction. You are highly entertaining. I love how primal this song is, but that ending is so sweet. Good stuff. I'd suggest next the other Jinjer song with some reggae in it, Judgement & Punishment. You have two choices though. The official video is fire with studio sound. Then there is also a brand new live video, but it wasn't as perfectly recorded as this, and Tati's vocals are a bit low in the mix. Still, it is watching Tati and the guys do their amazing stuff live, so it is fun to watch. On the other hand, the other video has a cool little story that does a decent job of representing the theme of the song, at least on a surface level. Your call sir, both are good. Cheers!
Vlad doesnt play with his sticks backwards now, he has specially made sticks that are the same thickness all the way through thats why they look like they are backwards when in reality they arent
Interesting.. I never noticed Vlad's sticks. I always focused on the fact he plays open handed, or does not cross his hands to play the hi-hats/ cymbals. Jinjer has such a bad ass and tight rhythm section!
Vlad plays open handed on a right hand configuration. Like me, open on a righty...basically I’m left handed but don’t play a left hand kit setup. My left hand is on my hats and right on the snare whereas a right hand drummer will have left on snare and right on hats. I can play right hand, left hand, open righty, and open lefty.
There's a lot more of them to check out. Instead of releasing one song, and seeing how it does, they release an album, full of great songs. That might be ai different/new style for musicians. At they end of this, they were Sublime-ish, if you remember them...
Jinjer are dope. At the beginning it is all about the crazy voice, but after you get used to it, you Start to realize, that all band members are just crazy good. Speeking of crazy good. How about changing it up a bit. Since you seem to love drummers, I can really recommend Thomas Lang with his song Time. You will not regret it
