@@ChrisPage68 Yes its insane! Went to Wacken to see Jinjer live and i have to say, that was some of the best festivals ive ever been to. Such nice people there from old to yound and everyone just wants to have a good time together.
JINJER doing JINJER things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! many thank's for your interesting reaction to one of the best bands ever.............................................................! greetings from germany and stay safe
that's cuz the studio version was recorded very quickly in between 152 shows across several continents that year. In the meantime Tati has been performing the song over and over live and has really perfected her performance of the song. Oh, and I'm 99% sure this isn't a studio, just Alex Lopez's house where she's been waiting out the lockdown.
@@j.f.fisher5318 My thoughts on this is that they wanted it to sound as a one take act on the recording sessions, close to a live experience and that was a tricky job for Max Morton because of the loudness war scenario dominating the recording business in the last couple of decades. That's why their actual live recording is mostly preferred and this one tops it all.
Booya just lost her work visa in the USA and had to leave her fiancee and cat and stuff behind and go back to Ukraine. This was done right before that, so she may have had what is going on in her life in mind more while doing it
This is one of the best music-reaction channels I've seen on TH-cam. The way you break down/analyze the song is always super interesting, especially for someone like me who has very little technical knowledge about music. I've watched several of your reactions and every time felt like I'd actually _learnt_ something. And yeah, this is one of Jinjer's best songs. It might be my favourite; either this or _Home Back._
One of the things I love about them is just how tight they are. It would be really easy just to focus on Tatiana in their videos but if you notice every video splits camera time pretty equally between the whole band. Also none of them try to take over or put their imprint on a song they play together and mesh everything expertly. I just think that shows how committed they are to each other and the band .
And this is why you're one of the top reactors imo my friend. Most reactors are jumping the bandwagon on the one take performance because it's the new hot thing and hunting for clicks, without even knowing the original version, while you take the time and make the effort to get to know the original first. Hats off to you dear sir, and keep doing your thing, you're clearly suceeding it :)
I went to see Jinjer in Albuquerque. A somewhat small venue with a local band opener followed by Sumo Cyco then The Browning and then Jinjer. Of course Jinjer was amazing, but the lead singer of Sumo Cyco, Skye Sweetnam's control of the crowd was INSANE. She came down into the audience and got piggy back rides, ran a mosh pit, calmed everyone down and made them sit and sang a slow tune, ramping it up slowly, having people basically come out of a cocoon to their feet, then amped jumping. Tatiana's showmanship was also amazing and driving the audience like a team of horses pulling her chariot.
She had mentioned that she cups the mic because otherwise she feels like she's like an announcer at a wedding or something along those lines. Absolute monster of a vocalist.
Have to say, I think you’re hands down the best reactor to Jinjer I’ve seen. Your appreciation and unique breakdowns are a breath of fresh air in a world of “shocked” reactors. My only criticism, there aren’t enough of them from you. Would love to watch you break down some of the playthroughs of the guys. In the meantime I guess I’ll just have to continue to rewatch your older ones 😊
Wow. Two things why you can tell she's remarkable. When she sings or screams there's no strain in the neck whatsoever, it's all relaxed as it should be. The second is that she can switch super easily between clean and growls without losing any force. Amazing ^^
Seen them years ago in a small venue as a pre show to Delain (in the Netherlands). Didn't know what to expect, and it was quite the party i can tell you that :-)
Chase, I just want you to know, your reaction channel is quickly becoming my favorite. Your analysis is on point, it really brings a new appreciation for these songs that I have heard many times. I love sharing amazing music with others and it brings me joy watching you enjoy these incredible bands. Jinjer is amazing. As a guitarist myself, I have really enjoyed learning their songs and jamming to them. So much fun because they are so interesting. If I can recommend a band for you to check out, lesser known and not many reactions out there of their music. Check out The Absence. They are melodic death metal. One of my favorites. Not many music videos to react to though. Try Enemy Unbound if you want to see a video. Otherwise one of my favorite songs is World Divides. Thank you for what you do!
Jinjer had a date in my hometown on the 13th of March, right after this pandemic was declared (on the 11th). I was debating heavily on going to see them or not, and I ultimately ended up buying my ticket right on the 11th, before even knowing that the pandemic had been declared. I then debated heavily on going to see them again, as I was legitimately uneasy and concerned for my health, but in the end, I went to see them thinking it might be my last concert in quite a while. It did, in fact, end up being my last concert pre-COVID, and probably my last concert this year since my country (Mexico) isn't doing so well with this health crisis, and I'm so glad I got to see them. They were amazing, Tatiana live sounds as good or even better than in the studio, and the musicians are all so incredible as well. And this song, particularly, was insanely fun live, as the whole crowd shouted "Booyah" back at them. Also, fun fact: their last show before having to cancel all their future tours was on Tatiana's birthday (March 15th), at an open air metal festival called Hell and Heaven Fest in Mexico City. A lot of bands that were scheduled to appear canceled because of the pandemic, but since they were already in Mexico, they went through with their performance and ended up in the headlining slot. They went out with a bang, as they deserve.
...hahaha..put simply but 100% accurate..."its jinjer doing jinjer things"...best group of musicians ever making some of the best music ever.....thanks man you kill it...peace...and yeah she has actually got better...the one take is sick....
her voice on the reggae part is awesome !!! she is soooo talented ... jinjer is one of my favorite band ^^ (fan of reggae and metal, jinjer is the perfect combo !!)
I´m a huge Jinjer fan and have watched a lot of Jinjer reaction videos. You are by far the most on point with the analysis with your own music knowledge. I absolutely love hearing your take on their music. Also you are the first reactor I really believe when you say you´ve become a fan and that you wanna see them live. I myself have seen them live once in London and my god it was one of the best shows I´ve ever been to. What a bunch of talented musicians, they really blow your mind don´t they? Can´t wait to see them again! 🤘🏻
Jinjer is the best band on the planet. Tati is a beast. Best metal vocalist male or female. Great reaction loved how you reacted to the official version before the one take.
Jinjer is one of those bands that has that little extra which takes them to a whole new level above everyone else! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 I love watching your reactions because you have a good way of analyzing songs. I’m just like, if it chuggs I headbang and that’s it! 😅 And yes, I also need to see these guys live! 😩
My pleasure buddy! 🤙🏻 Looking forward to your next Jinjer reaction! I may have suggested this to you before but I’ll do it again just in case. Veil Of Maya - Outsider. Really good song.
It's their work ethic and how they deal with fans and interviews. They don't do the "entourage" thing. They're down to Earth and nice people. Eugene is phenomenally intelligent.
Absolutely agree with you on all counts :). Love watching your reactions. You always have some great points and pick out the more detailed sometimes easy to miss things. Love Jinjer! I agree, each band member is amazing.
She’s the real deal for sure. I love the jazzier side of her where she’ll improvise live, even with her growls (check out the live on stage version of Pisces!). To me the stereotype of metal musicians is to try to play everything exactly like it was on the record...but true mastery is being able to improvise with it and still sound good (or, in her case - better!). Also: cat!!! 🐈
Seeing Jinjer is worthy of a spot on a bucket list. I saw them last year in a small venue in Dallas, Texas. The place was absolutely packed. Awesome show! Hopefully, they go with a bigger venue on their next visit.
Actually I’m getting more and more impressed by your reaction videos - you are a reaction beast 🤩 Jinjer music is beautiful, but also complex and technically challenging to analyse. That’s why I need several times listen the song to „understand“ and more enjoy the song. But you .... it seems you have 4 ears. Within only one view you hear and explore so many little details (time signatures, drum accents, bass lines, guitar melodies, vocal expressions....) and describe them in a precise and understandable way. Wow 😲 And ... in meanwhile you even find time and mental processing capacity to watch and enjoy the video. Sorry, but that is just awesome! Big thanks ... I appreciate your work and joy you put into those videos. You
What a great reaction - watching that joy appear when the reggae started, well, that definitely sparks joy! Jinjer is controlled chaos, I love it. They sound so discordant, but it's a cohesive and complete sound that flows like raging rapids. It's amazing, I REALLY need to see them.
You are the best music reactor on TH-cam. Been watching since Jinjer "Pisces" and everything since. Having been a drummer, I love your descriptions and analysis on everything unlike the typical "Wow that was cool" like many other reactors. You obviously have a love and appreciation for music like many of us that have come and stayed on your channel now. I've been lucky to see Jinjer 3 times in AZ now and they are truly amazing. We are all in love with Tatiana and her astounding vocals. But just like your "Nightwish" reactions you never let the incredible abilities of the band go unmentioned. THAT'S what makes you one of the best channels. Keep it up man, your the best🤘 Ya and your face when the reggae beat dropped😄 priceless👌
Yeah, the talent of the band musicians is overshadowed by Tati's outworldly stage presence and undeniable vocal gifts but maaan, the pieces of this fab four is mindblowing at the whole set.
I recommended this on every video for a while. Finally you react to it, and now it inthe running for your favourite Jinjer song? You should just listen to me, man ! XP
Justin Bonitz (Tallah) does live one-takes for The Silo, We, The Sad and Overconfidence. I never thought he’d be able to replicate their recorded tracks live, but damn, was I wrong. I thought the same of 12 Foot Ninja years ago too.
"I don't know why I think they may be watching this". You'd be amazed how many of these reactions they actually have seen. Heck, Eugene has shared and responded to quite a few Jinjer reaction videos on his instagram through the years already.
They did hundreds of tours the last few years, of course she can do a one take performance. The one Live in Melbourne is fantastic too, or the entire Melbourne set, which is unlisted but could be found through a little research. You can see her interacting with the crowd there too. Watched the entire thing four times already, definitely the good stuff for us Jinjer fanboys.
Hi Chase. I love your reaction and great analysis of this song. I'm also a huge Jinjer fan. Once you fall in love with this band, there's no turning back. I saw them live last year in Cape Town, South Africa. Do you have a South African connection, because your accent sounds South African? Keep the reactions coming 🤘
greatest face on first raggea part EVER!!! :D im really a fan of your reaction and explainations, hope you do THIS for a long time...and i have to have a look at your patreon to support
I heard Tatiana belt this song 10' from my face in a small venue in Canada last year on Halloween night. Let me tell you, watching/listening to Jinjer live was the most thrilling fun concert ive been to in my life. Man I will never forget that concert experience. I think it was extra special because of how small/intimate the show was. It felt like they were putting it on for 200 of their friends. Great reaction man, I enjoyed your appreciation of this bands musical delivery and nuances. I hope to see some vocal coaches react to this one take one too hopefully soon!
You should watch The Charismatic Voice react to this video. She does a fantastic analysis of her singing technique and really recognizes her true talent.
Watched them live in Pretoria. The band is great live and her voice is beautiful and brutal and probably more. P.S. say hi to the OneDaySky boys that are that side with you.
You have to checkout Roman's guitar playthrough for this song, it's out of this world. Highlights the exact thing you were saying - every member of this band is exactly where they belong, take one out and no Jinjer anymore. Great video and analysis btw. Oh and yes, you have to see them live, they're like a hurricane :-)
Your reactions are the best. Wish I could give this video 10 likes. Jinjer is absolutely the best band around right now, and I love how you appreciate the smallest of details in every song
Belive me but The Mara Effect live at Silverside Sound by Spiritbox is delightful. Incredible performance of the whole group in the studio. 16 minutes of hell and heaven.
Tati's one-take performance is everything! I keep watching it over and over, too. This band. What more can you say? Love, love, LOVE! Keep 'em coming, Chase!
Also one of my favorites. The riffs, the blast beats, the clangy bass...and of course the insanely good and varied vocals. I do agree the one take vocal sounds better than the video, all the more impressive that it is indeed a one take and not a composite like studio recordings and music videos often are. Or maybe that is why it sounds better, it's "live" in a different way.
Awesome!! I missed your Jinjer reactions man, it´s been waaaaaay to long, but the double feature makes up for it ;) Really good content, as always! Insightful, educational and entertaining. I learn or discover something new every time I see your vids, really good work! Can´t belive you hadn´t react to this brilliant and perfectly executed mash-up of genres. As you said, it´s so effortless, it flows and fits so well. These guys are something else! Don´t take so long for the next Jinjer reaction, they deserve it and they have so much more amazing work. My 2 cents: - "Outlander" failure.color video. An older banger and the song that made me fall in love with the band. - "Captain Clock" live at Ressurrection Fest. Another epic live performance. - "Sit, Stay, Roll Over". An absolute banger and probably their most hard, fast and furious track. Sorry for the long testament but I get carried away with this amazing band! Peace and keep up the great work!
"I don't want to listen to anything else today..." Lol. Except maybe more Jinjer. Need to watch the live video as well. Just for a little 'more' of the experience.
I think you have said “this is properbly my favorite Jinjer song”, on all of the reactions i have seen with you, so far...😄I have not yet seen your reaction to Over the top or Sit, stay, roll over, but i am curious if its the same with those two, as it is with the other Jinjer reactions, you have made.
The music video is Tati as a version of Baba Yaga. I figured this one out on guitar or so I thought until Roman released his guitar playthrough and he does all of these subtle things, especially in the polyrhythm chorus, that I missed. He's a genius, they're all geniuses. All four of them are back in Ukraine now and they'll be doing shows again shortly. I saw them live last October, it's a must see. They're perfect every time. Here's this song live from the balcony: th-cam.com/video/kyrn7K85TZ8/w-d-xo.html
I seriously appreciate your reactions my man! It’s one thing to just watch and review these songs like so many channels do, but it’s another thing entirely to get the point of view from someone with such a deep understanding of all the instruments of the band, vocals included. I’ve been watching for a long time but have just subbed. Keep doing great man!
Was about to see them live at a festival this year, which (of course and unfortunately) got canceld... But now all hope lies in beating corona until next summer because they will be there next year instead. can't wait so see them live (again)
I've watched every reaction to this that has come out. Yours is one of the reactions that I have been waiting for. Always good and thorough reactions. Thank you. Cheers!
Your channel is one of my favorites! I enjoy your analysis, your insights and your passion for this content. I've watched several playthroughs with Eugene and Roman, Watched Vlad do a set or two, and now I'm SUPER excited that Tati is getting into the live playthrough sessions! I for one would sit through a full feature reaction of you doing the official, and each of their playthroughs separately. Could be an hour-long reaction video, but I would totally sign up!
I’ve been hearing a bit of Rage in Jinjer for a while. This is the most Rage-y track I’ve heard (well, maybe Teacher, Teacher). Metal w/ funk influence and notes of reggae is killer in 1992 or 2020. Great song. Great analysis.
As a drummer, I forgive your air drums. =D As a guitarist, I also l know how some people's air guitar looks. So, it's fine - it just means you're truly enjoying the music. And as for Jinjer, it's just impossible to pick any member to highlight, as they're all superbly good.
Loving the channel and the reactions, especially the appreciation of the talent on offer. I saw this vocal the day it dropped and didn't think it would take you long to get round to it. :) Keep up the great work.
Jinjer are my favourite band & I read recently that Tatiana & Alex Lopez are getting married? I wish her all the best. I've read some things about Alex Lopez that were somewhat concerning. Like, he physically hurt his ex's in the past. But I'm sure Tatiana wouldn't put up with that though. I hope it's all just rumours but it worries me why people have said this about Alex. (Jealousy)? TY for another awesome reaction Chase.
As I just put up on one of the reactions by Tank: Is nice to see more people reacting that appreciate the music and musicians, and don't just make shock or OMG Floor videos. You, Tank, Elizabeth @ The Charismatic Voice etc are the best ones to watch hands down.
Watching the vocal part was definitely intriguing for me. Maybe not my favorite band, but there is no doubting their skill and talent, especially after hearing you analysis and breakdowns. Thanks, see you next reaction.
I was watching Tank with his reaction to épica, so I had to pause this reaction and go watch his premiere,,, you Chase should have a collab with Tank and Julia, you take care or the arrangements, Tank the gear and Julia the vocals!
I like Tank as well Julia not so much, but to be honest a reaction of this three together wouldn't be good. They would pause every 3 seconds because somebody has to say something. :D
'Smart' must be your favourite word cuz I hear it in every single video. Liking the reggae verse and the guitar sounds less gained here. Yeah can't wait for vocal coaches to crack the one-take too, especially Mary Z who specializes in metal screaming. She did awesome job analyzing Courtney's Holy Roller one-take vocal playthrough and explained 3 types of vocal styles she used there. 7:11 might be the cutest Booyah 😂 How's that for 'Just a Ginger doing Ginger things'? Bad pun I know.
9:30 "Metal isn't what a lot of people think it is. It's definitely a genre but it's more to form of expression." Damn right, brother!
Everett I really noticed when Chase said that
It's an attitude. 🤘Outsiders think we're snobs or thugs, but I have met more genuine people in the Metal community than elsewhere.

Yeah, the talent of the band musicians is overshadowed by Tati's outworldly stage presence and undeniable vocal gifts but maaan, the pieces of this fab four is mindblowing at the whole set.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Glad you're enjoying these.
@@ChaseCarneson You really need to checkout Jinjer "Ape" .....beware, your head may explode🤘😅🤘 the timing .....just check it.
Memo to self: Do not accept anything Tatiana gives you in a cup.
And be nice to her Fiancé's cat.
I don't know, she could piss in it and I'd probably still accept it.
Tatiana...Magical indeed!...great React....very open and insightful...Thumbs UP!
"I don't know why I think they may be watching this".
You'd be amazed how many of these reactions they actually have seen.
Heck, Eugene has shared and responded to quite a few Jinjer reaction videos on his instagram through the years already.
That would be awesome. Always a privilege to get the thumbs up from the artists.
Best jinjer reaction I’ve seen and I’ve seen a pile. Well done my friend. Going to hit the sub button now. 👍👍👍👍👍
Honestly, thank you so much for this. Really means a lot
greatest face on first raggea part EVER!!! :D
im really a fan of your reaction and explainations, hope you do THIS for a long time...and i have to have a look at your patreon to support
Oh I will do. Love those guys.
Really have to.
Your reactions are the best. Wish I could give this video 10 likes. Jinjer is absolutely the best band around right now, and I love how you appreciate the smallest of details in every song
WoW. Chase like reggae. Tatiana take You to the journey. I love Your reaction. Jinjer do Jinjer things - pure gold. 😁
I went to see jinjer in london last year the were amazing live. 100% recommend going to see them
Nice one
When I think about raggae metal, I usually think of skindred. But jinjer does it to perfection as well, as expected :D
My 2 cents:
- "Outlander" failure.color video.
Nice one. I'll make sure to get those in the plan.
Metal has many subgenres... it's a fantastic never ending journey
"I don't want to listen to anything else today..."
Lol.
Except maybe more Jinjer. Need to watch the live video as well. Just for a little 'more' of the experience.
Thanks for bringing joy to our days Chase. I hope you do Retrospection next. Amazing song with yet another surprise in the vocals.
Thank you for supporting
"Impossibly talented." Excellent way to put it. Yet another fantastic analysis.
Dude. This is my first time here and you got me hooked. The way you talk about what is going on is top notch.
Thanks man. Really do appreciate it.
I can't wait for Julia Nilon to react to this one now that she's got a couple of Jinjer vids under her belt now.
WOOOOWWWW ! Wasn't expecting you to react to that song !
THE BAND!!!
Such a great song! Thanks Chase for the reaction, always a pleasure.
My pleasure!! Glad you enjoyed.
Jinjer doing Jinjer things
Always
You saw, you read, you responded. I respect that. I subscribe.
Was about to see them live at a festival this year, which (of course and unfortunately) got canceld... But now all hope lies in beating corona until next summer because they will be there next year instead. can't wait so see them live (again)
Really cool reaction for a really cool band!
🙏🙏🙏
I've watched every reaction to this that has come out. Yours is one of the reactions that I have been waiting for. Always good and thorough reactions. Thank you. Cheers!
Really glad you liked it!!!
Thank you Eric, appreciate the support.
This is better than the studio, hands down.
So happy you finally got to this one! I saw them last year for the first time, such an awesome show! 🤘
Fucking amazing double reaction dude.
Thank you Neal, appreciate that
You made both in the same fucking video...I respect that, liked it a lot!
Tatiana never ceases to amaze me. Great reaction!
Chills
You're the most insightful reactor I've seen yet, man. Very intelligent!
Rumour has it Tatiana accidentally summoned Baron Samedi once. He was too scared to answer.
I’ve been hearing a bit of Rage in Jinjer for a while. This is the most Rage-y track I’ve heard (well, maybe Teacher, Teacher). Metal w/ funk influence and notes of reggae is killer in 1992 or 2020. Great song. Great analysis.
Man, if anyone ever asks me for an example for a reaction channel I would describe as perfect: I’d name you.
Gilbert, you're very kind. Thank you very much for that. Appreciate the support.
As a drummer, I forgive your air drums. =D As a guitarist, I also l know how some people's air guitar looks. So, it's fine - it just means you're truly enjoying the music. And as for Jinjer, it's just impossible to pick any member to highlight, as they're all superbly good.
Thank you 🙋🏼♂️
Vlad and Roman deserve more publicity than they get.
Loving the channel and the reactions, especially the appreciation of the talent on offer. I saw this vocal the day it dropped and didn't think it would take you long to get round to it. :) Keep up the great work.
Loved watching you react to this. I was blown away as well, just so amazing.
They're fantastic
Jinjer are my favourite band & I read recently that Tatiana & Alex Lopez are getting married?
I wish her all the best. I've read some things about Alex Lopez that were somewhat concerning.
Like, he physically hurt his ex's in the past. But I'm sure Tatiana wouldn't put up with that though. I hope it's all just rumours but it worries me why people have said this about Alex. (Jealousy)?
TY for another awesome reaction Chase.
one of the only reaction channel worth subscribing to. Keep it up, i really enjoy your content
Appreciate that. Thanks for the support!!!
Pit of Consciousness by Jinjer. Must listen.
So happy I found your channel, you're doing a bang up job, thoroughly enjoying your reactions! You have a damn good day too
Aaaaah thank you. Appreciate that!
yaaass! love the jinjer reactions. would love to see the Terminal velocity from John petrucci as i think he'd love it
'Smart' must be your favourite word cuz I hear it in every single video.
I loved Mary doing underwater screaming. It's a wonder she didn't drown! 😋 😱
@@ChrisPage68 that's because she's a Siren.
Smaaaaaaaart. 😂😂😂
@@ChaseCarneson It's September. Gotta put that as Chase's Word of the Month.
@@juliettemcgee9055 I cosign this comment and idea fully
The one take is superior
BOOYAH!-Jinjer Fans
BOOOYAH
That's Tati's nickname, also Booyaka
