    Thank you for the pledge of allegiance. I put a catch can on my 22 Powerboost (DI and PI). This past winter, I emptied it out once a week - usually about two Tbs of liquid. Like Rich always says … at least it’s not going back into the engine. Mine cost a bit more than the one in this video but none the less, I think they are a good investment and may pay off in the long run. Thanks for the great video.

    Got a two of chepo amazon catch cans installed them in series in my diesel truck. I added a coarse steel wool inside the two of them to coalesce oil vapor out of the blow by works flawlessly . The only proble with them was the flimsy bracket that fix them in position. It broke right off after few miles.

    I saw your earlier vid; you were not a happy camper; you were already not happy with the comments about drains, and you were just about INFURIATED about people talking about the pledge. Our flag represents FREEDOM; and you helped us retain OUR FREEDOM when you were in the military. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE SIR!!!! When I was a kid in elementary school, we had a flag raising event every morning. The older kids got to unwrap the flag, attach it to the rope and raise it to the top of the pole. Then we would ALL recite The Pledge of Allegiance. I think we had our right hands pressed against our chest just above the heart. That was a VERY LONG time ago, but I still remember The Pledge of Allegiance to this day. When I was old enough, I was one of the individuals who would help hook and raise the flag, and take it down and fold it at the end of the school day. I’m just a pissed as you are with these people who have a problem with the Pledge of Allegiance! Stay Blessed!

    I’ve been curious about these for my 2.0 Ecoboost. I asked at my dealer and they seemed doubtful on the effectiveness or necessity.
    Seeing you install one on your vehicle tells me that perhaps it’s a good investment.
    I change oil religiously at 5000 kms.
    As a Canadian, I have no problem with listening to your pledge. People need to lighten up.

      I hear you on the dealers not liking them.
      I had an expensive one on my 3.5 and the mechanics would always tell me the same “it wasn’t necessary” then I didn’t tighten the can tight enough and it popped off while driving.So I took it all off till I could order another one and hooked it back up wrong.
      Truck went into the dealer for some work.Mechanic recommended to just take it off cause it wasn’t installed right and doing anything anyways.Instead of installing it properly.
      I just got fed up of listening to the mechanics about it every time my truck went in for work about it I just left it off.

Good stand, Rich. If “I pledge allegiance to the flag” offends someone, the onus is on them to go to their happy place where they will be “safe”.

    Having had two yotes, the first (a 2012) needed a can. It would drink a quart to a quart and a half between oil changes and add a few ounces a fume to the can every month that needed to be tipped out. Was very strong power wise. The second (a 2014) never consumes a drop but is just slightly down power wise compared to the freak. More like healthy stock level of power.

    What is your thoughts with calling a Catch Can an Emissions Defeat Device? Technically by installing these you are modifying the engine's method that recirculates oil vapors to be burned in a later combustion cycle.

    • @FordBossMe
      @FordBossMe  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They would have to prove that you're defeating or changing the way the emissions works cleanliness-wise and you're actually making it better so there's really nothing that they can do

Nice thing they stand behind their products too. Shoot i even run their synthetic coolant in multiple vehicles. My 3.5 has their catch cans, up and down pipes, intercooler, radiator, trans cooler, silicone hoses, silicone rad hoses, upgraded coolant resi it holds an extra 1.5 gallon. I have other parts along with other vehicles loaded with parts from them.
