Nice tips. Im a bird nest master sometimes get eggs lol but one thing i learn about taking out bird nest. Leave um in free spool and let the clicker be the tension. Comes out super fast if its not a big mess. 🤙🏽🤙🏽
True! I put my clicker on free spool with the clicker on when setting up my poles. I don't do it when I bird nest because I try not to wear down my clicker. They tend to wear out fast on Newell reels. Definitely a good tip.
Mahaloz for the really informative video👍🏽 I really suggest the next video to be on how to tie your setup. More importantly on the knots because there isn’t really any videos on ulua fishing knots such as the Bimini twist to the Albright.
Constant thumb on the line. When the lead is going up, the pressure should be very minimal because that's when your reel is spinning the fastest. As the lead slows down, increase the pressure.
I would recommend the Torium 50 over the old Penn Senator 113w any day because of the gear ratio and how smooth it is. The new senator is really good, but I'm a shimano and Daiwa guy so I would still go with the Torium.
Aloha, Do you suggest practicing casting with the bimini and albright knots or just straight main line? Do you have any suggestions on casting with a long(er) lead line? Mahalo
It would be better to practice casting with your knots. Your form should be the same when casting with and without knots. The bimini and albright will just make your cast a little bit shorter. How long is your lead line?
Guaranteed you'll catch. but its still cheating. I know too many guys that cast and catch on oahu to know that throwing a line out and catching is possible

Will do soon. Thank you for the support!
So to control the real while the line is casting out do you use a tap tap tap or do you keep a constant thumb on the line?

How many yards of 80# test does the torium 50 hold? and would you recommend the torium 50 over the Penn US Senator 113w? Mahalos
