Love glocks, but the biggest issue with the gen5 is the fact I can see daylight through it at the slide release. Which is probably just an aesthetic issue but looks like poor production.

Just got my 19x and love it The ONLY thing I hate right now is how the front of the slide/frame turned black after handful of shots.. Do you know why this happened? How you can prevent it from staining more??
honestly, there is no way to prevent this from happening. It will happen every time it's used. It's a mixture of carbon and/or unburnt powder from shooting it. You can remove it with some type of solvent or cleaner.
Yeah, that is pretty normal with most Glocks. If you really want to fix it I’ve heard that metal magazine catches solve the problem but it could induce premature wear on the magazine.
@@RaspyStarks kinda haha. I have both and my hand fits on a 19( I like a magwell to keep my pinky secure though) and I noticed immediately the 19x felt like it had a much better balance to it. For me anyway
I b telling my gun smith bout them 19xs they color way b fading and they b charging 650-750$ mad tripping the color looks like shit when it fades and he says there all like that my ass ur just finessing people and ur gunsmith old people need to respect younger men 😤😤just because ur old don’t mean u gotta b grumpy I mean dude u have ur own buisnesss shop ur conceald guns suppressors etc and ur still angry 🤣🤣🤣🇺🇸make 0 sense
I got lucky and found one on buds gun shop , it was the last one , I had to become a buds member in order to buy it , 650$ , but I didn’t mind it , I’ve been looking for this gun for such a long time

I just now picked one up that has a matching fde streamlight with the Glock logo! Bit more than I wanted to pay but really wanted this pistol.
It's actually 2-19rd mags and 1-17rd mag💯💯

I believe the latest models only ship with two backstraps, medium large, both with beavertails.

The 19X is a 17 size frame with a 19 size slide and barrel.
