My husband and I stumbled across your TH-cam videos and ended up binge watching all your episodes from the beginning. Such a wonderful family and great content. Thank you so much for sharing! We look forward to more!
That’s amazing glad you found us! I can’t believe you made it all the way to here 🙈😂 I appreciate the compliment and encouragement, many more videos to come, we leave glacier and head toward Craters of the moon in the next episode 😊
Doesn't surprise me. I went to Glacier last summer and woke up to a baby bear climbing on top of me in my tent. It sniffed my hand then went to the side of my tent an climb on me pressing like it was doing cpr to me lol. I still would go back. I loved my close encounter. It was me and my 3 son's in our tent. I got lucky it didn't eat me. I think it helped I didn't freak out.
You people have no idea idea what yer doin in glacier or bear country! Just stop posting stuff. You are giving other visitors wrong impressions - knock it off!
Thank You. I never comment on these, but I really enjoy watching your videos. I don't know if it is the music, the great video, or simply how your family gets along and enjoys life. In these times, this is so refreshing. Thanks and you are an Awesome Family.
Well that’s the best compliment you can give me, thanks for taking the time to write! Seriously though, huge compliments , we truly appreciate the encouragement, thank you 🙏
Spectacular mountain vistas, wildlife, swimming in frigid breath taking (literally) crystal clear waters, loosing and fortunate to recover lost sweaters and sunglasses create wonderous memories; but family (esp. with teenagers) who enjoy one another's company are the golden memories to be cherished. 👨👩👧👧❤️
I love your videos you actually show the different areas that you go to! I love the scenic views that you show, so many rv travel channels just talk your channel actually takes us to the different parks and areas of the country.
Really great episode. When I saw the colorful rocks in that last lake, I thought, what a great background that would make for a scrapbook page! Thanks again for sharing.
I live in Michigan and have water skied on New Years Day almost every year for the past 30 years. The coldest I've ever been is when I fell through the ice on a -10F day with my father-in-law trying to retrieve his aerator from his pond. The water was 8 feet deep where we fell through and nothing about it was fun!
We love your videos and your mutual respect for one another. Glacier is our favorite National Park followed by Yellowstone/Tetons.Thank you for sharing your adventures. You are great ambassadors for Rving and our US.
When I was a kid, we used to go (tent) camping at Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California. It was one of our favorite places. The campground was on Manzanita Lake, which was fed by pure snow runoff. As a kid, I enjoyed swimming and playing there. When I went back as an adult on a geology class field trip, I waded in up to my ankles...and boy...does aging every change your perception! It was PAINFULLY cold, and I couldn't go any deeper. It made my feet and ankles ache! I can't even imagine jumping into that glacial hole that you guys did! Kudos!
Another amazing video. Those are some awesome places y’all have been visiting the past few videos. That water, those rocks, and the views are just breathtaking. Enjoying the journey that y’all are sharing with us!
Love love love your show. I enjoy everyone’s channel but I like to see what and where you all are going and doing. Not always about the RV itself. And definitely humbled to know your good with sharing your lives with all of us while you’re travelling.
Thank you! That’s my goal in editing, I want people to feel like they are there😃 that’s what’s cool about TH-cam , everyone has their “take” on how to film something, and there is no best way! Thank you for coming along!
My Doc has big pics from Glacier on one of the exam rooms, high on a trail above a gorge surrounded by the Mountains so amazing. Maybe soon. And I'm a Boomer at 59 I'll never be old.
Amazing video, beautiful thoughts about glaciers becoming extinct and, as an older person, you did not offend in the least, the idea was super valid and valuable, you were being positive... it's a pity we have to be careful not to offend... those who actually say they get offended are, for the most part, negative people who feel victimized when they are not, it is a sad thing to consider ourselves victims. You won an old subscriber today! Love your honesty. (By the way, I am starting my own full-time minivan experience in 2 months, super excited!!!) Thank you for the inspiration!
Thank you for these words, they are encouraging, and welcome, thank you for joining us! The victim mentality is unfortunately very strong in our society today... congratulations on the upcoming adventure, sounds like an epic road trip!
You’re welcome, glad to hear you are enjoying them! I can’t for you to experience the sights for your self! Glad to be the fill in , in the meantime, have a great rest of the week!
We hope to hit Tahoe again this spring! I hope it’s at east warm out for when we inevitably take the plunge😃 glad you didn’t take offense, thanks for commenting!
@@FindingOurSomeday Tahoe MIGHT be in the 70's when it is 100's+ in the summer. Nice but cold for swimming. My bf lived in Tahoe when i lived in the bay area in 1997-99 time frame. Great skiing. Probably not good RV living in winter, though. 😞 8-20?ft of snow.
Thank you for telling us about Hidden Lake Trail! We left Glacier this morning after a 3 day visit and Hidden Lake was one of our favorite trails. We could only go to the overlook due to Grizzly activity but what a view! And lots of Mountain Goats. We also got a close up view of a moose and black bear on other trails.
I jumped into a high mountain lake in the Sierra 's as a teenager. It was so cold I couldn't breathe! That's a scary feeling for sure! You have had an awesome journey and as Cory said, these memories are PRICELESS!
It is a little scary what the shock of the cold water does to you, especially if you’re not expecting it! Thanks for commenting, have a great rest of the week!
Backpacking and home base camper, we always had a small thermometer on a cord to see what water (and air) temps were. Beautiful footage on this venture.
Thank you for the grand video of your venture. I am old it doesnt bother me any. Your safe with me. You young whippersnappers. Everytime I watch your videos I'm on vacations too watching all the ventures you do. Thank you again from Ontario 🇨🇦🌟
When the Canadian border opens, go back to Glacier and visit the Waterton Peace Park and the city itself. That area has bear roaming around close to town.
Gods glorious country! Would have loved to see that part of the country! Enjoy your travels! Wish we were younger to continue our travels, but I’m still glad we were able to travel as much as we did! Enjoy watching your travels and trying to enjoy with you! Thank you for sharing your travels and experiences with us who cannot travel anymore!
When you crossed under the Gateway to Glacier National Park you passed a truck, Food Services of America. I drove truck and retired from them. They have been since bought out. I enjoyed seeing it. Thanks for the video.
That’s awesome, these are some of my favorite comments. Even the seemingly mundane can have deep meaning to someone, we’re all different, and it’s awesome! On a side note, that truck got super close to the top of that bridge! That’s the comment I thought I was going to get about that scene ! Yours is way better, thanks again!
Yes I would have jumped in..Lori not so much! Coldest I've been in was in Bozeman while we lived there and was doing the Presidents Day Polar Dip for Special Olympics. They had to cut into the ice which was two feet thick for us to jump in...that was a tad cold!
As a recent subscriber to your channel, I thoroughly enjoy your videos. We are hoping to start full time rving this summer and absolutely cannot wait to see all the beautiful National Parks. Thanks for sharing your great adventures!
Thus was a great video. That boy hound kid who got close to a bear. He got lucky. Glad your daughter found her sweat shirt and Jess had gotten her glasses back from a park ranger. Nice to have taken a leap into the freezing water. Hope the water you planned on jumping in at end of video was warmer. Thank you for this video. This one to cherish for sure fir your daughters since the glaciers are melting. See you all soon! Stay safe.
You guys! That was amazing 🤩. Why in the world have you been holding out on us with these last several videos for so long? This has been fantastic & makes me sooooo want to hop in our 5th wheel with my family. Oh how I wish
Thank you! It’s been driving me crazy not being caught up 😃 lots more waiting to be shared . Craters of the moon, Bryce, wildfires, Maine, Zion, horse shoe bend, Grand Canyon, arches, canyon lands.... they are coming soon😎 also your 5th wheel is ready for you 😉😂
I just did this hike last week. The same signs about the bears are up this year as well but we did not see any. The crowds were extremely large in the park. You had to be where you wanted to be by 7:00 am or you weren’t parking there. It was still a great place to visit.
I waded into the water on the north shore of Prince Edward Island and it was so cold I couldn’t even stand in it & I have waded in a mountain lake (Moose Lake in the Rockies) without issue! There were old women just lounging around in the water as though it was the Caribbean! You need to visit Waterton, AB, it is such a quaint townsite with deer roaming between the cabins. Those cabins have been in families for generations & rarely one comes up for sale. It is so photogenic & has good hiking trails.
That’s always the biggest challenge in national parks ! It’s not the hike itself, it’s the parking 😃 I’m sorry to hear you were able to find a spot, it has happened to us many times as well...
When Lilly went to go look for her sweater I saw those glasses sitting on the ground and I said to myself oh no.. watch them forget to pick them up and lose those too...
We hiked to Avalanche last August. We parked at that Red Rock pullover and walked back then did the hike. We didn't see any bears though. We love Glacier! You can cliff jump into Crater Lake also! You have to do that if you are out here this summer!
Loved your video! I live in kalispell and hike im glacier almost every day! I can definitely say that a lot of locals aren't a huge fan of tourists, because since covid hit us, people have been traveling and moving here. Been living here all my life, it used to be a little town but now its booming! Your videos are really great, and i hope you enjoyed your stay!
Time changes things unfortunately, the secret is out, Glacier is amazing😃 You’re fortunate to have been able to enjoy it so much. It’s a common theme we hear from every location “it used to be like this...” I’m sure you have some secret spots to enjoy all to your self 😉 thanks so much for watching🙏 have a great weekend, new video tomorrow!
I'm sure enjoying your videos, your doing a good job. Glad you were able to come up and visit Glacier. I've lived here most of my life. You should see Avalanch in the spring, those waterfalls are really spectacular. You are right about the Glaciers unfortunately they have been melting since the ice age. Thanks also for your help at Glacier Bible camp, it's good to here. We do Trinity camp on flathead.
@@FindingOurSomeday just keep in mind that going to the sun is extra special in the spring, but doesn't open until June sometime. Although you can bike it a bit earlier.
West half glacier is rainforest type climate. Like northwest and south coastal Alaska. East side is less green and more like Colorado . So interesting to see the contrast. East and West sides are so unique. We stayed at Two medicine for 4 nights and east KOA for 3. FYI they will deliver pizza to your RV there! Next time is west side! We went as far as avalanche lake. I had bearspray on my hip whole time I hiked in Glacier and Tetons. I suprised a mama grizzly and her sow before so I KNOW the fear. I did not run but almost fell over from a heart attack. Yellowstone Lake. I’ll never forget it. Forgive me for being so gabby! 😂
Gabby is good! You have a lot to share😎 you’re right about the contrast between east and west! I prefer the west side but we will be doing some hikes on the east side next time we go. We drove by the west KOA a bunch of times I looked really nice (we’ve also seen photos people have posted from there) maybe we will stay there sometime, I’m just too cheap🙈😂 bear spray is definitely a must ! Avalanche is almost the whole way.
@@FindingOurSomeday being a wedding photographer myself .. I mostly finding that the angle goes from a snap shot to a truly beautiful image.. you where right to show both images it was a great video just beautiful keep up the great work..!
@@TomahawkSmith1 we fly to Maine in a couple episodes and we shoot what is most likely our last wedding. Thank you for the compliments! That’s exactly it, finding that one change that brings it beyond being a snapshot😎
Very entertaining video of your adventures at Glacier! We had the opportunity to visit Glacier this summer for the first time and can't wait to go back to explore more of the park. Will definitely be checking out Red Rock Point. Thanks for sharing that spot with us! Looks like you had a great time! The shots of Lake McDonald were beautiful as well. 😊👍
This whole video reminds me of hiking in the Canadian Rockies. It’s March /21 and we still have 2ft of snow. Won’t be swimming up here in Canada for another month or so. Cheers! Thx.
Glacier has a lot, we barely scratched the surface. Red rock was a blast! This was filmed mid august, sometimes the going to the sun road doesn’t open until end of June into July.
Next time you're in Glacier, make time to visit Waterton Lakes, the National Park in Alberta that borders on GNP. It's a great park, too, and not nearly as crowded. Treat you wife and daughters to tea at the iconic Prince of Wales Hotel, or even better, splurge on a night in the hotel. Another fun thing to do there is take a sunset trail ride at nearby Elk Ridge Ranch. It is a lot of fun and you'll get some amazing sunset shots in the Canadian Rockies. Waterton is a short drive from East Glacier.
Another excellent episode at awesome Glacier NP. Hopefully you get to explore the West side of the park on Camas rd. And North Fork Rd. Visit those remote lakes and stop at Polebridge Mercantile. Travel safe. Saw someone else suggest crossing over to Waterton Lakes NP. Take the boat tour!
I see your BIW sweatshirt! Mainer here! My hubby was an electrician there when he was young. We can't wait to get out to Glacier, hoping next year! Seeing if it can top Teton and YNP as our favorite.
That’s awesome, hi! My ship was actually built there(USS Monterey CG 61) but I picked up the sweatshirt while working on a job up there. My company was hired to remove over spray from vehicles after a mistake was made about 8 years ago.
Another wonderful video of beautiful views! Lots of nature and you got to see a bear 🐻 You both are correct about going on these wonderful adventures. Doing all of this together will be huge life long memories the girls will look back on with their children. Hopefully take these same adventures and continue the journey through their children's lives 💞
Thank you, I appreciate the insight and encouragement! It will be interesting to see the cycle of life and where it leads our girls. We talk about it a lot actually.
Coldest water I have swam in would be Lake Hope south of Telluride this past summer. The lake is at like 11,000 feet and fed by snow run-off...brrr! I was suppose to swim with my boys in Jackson Lake in the Tetons the previous summer and never did.
Watched your video and saw you put down your glasses on the ground when you removed your shirt. I turned to husband and said "she's going to forget her glasses" and guess what... So sorry you didn't find them. Thanks for great videos. God bless and stay safe
@@FindingOurSomeday I did finished the video and so happy you got them back, Praise God. Can't wait to see you all video again with Less Junk More Journey, we love them too.
I love watching your family have wonderful adventures. But more than that, I have to commend you on how well your daughters behave. I have watched other videos (not RVing) and had to turn them off due to their children’s behavior. Not with your kids. You have done a wonderful job with them and it is refreshing to see now a days. Keep up the good work! I will be looking forward to watching more.
I am one of those old people, and I think you will find we are not that easily offended. At least I can say I am not. I always try focus on the more important things in life. You mentioned you volunteered at the Bible Camp. Faith in God is THE most important thing in my life, and it sounds as if you have the same way of looking at life.
I just found you guys on the TH-cam and I already love you all.😊 Amazing family. Love your traveling channel. I'm totally in the Glacier park with you all 😂. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful....
Another epic video. "Bear, Bear" black bears can run at speeds around 35 MPH so don't count on out running, out climbing or out swimming them. Just hope they aren't interested in meeting you today or have little ones around. As the old joke goes.... I don't need to out run the bear ....Just out run you.... Love the reflection photo.
Great vlog guys the colour of the water just beautiful and the scenery. Was that you diving off the rocks Corey? If it was you are one crazy dude 🤣😅. Loving your channel. Safe travels 🤗❤🇬🇧
Nice, we used shuttle to get around. I guess it’s hard to do when you have so much camera equipment. I just love love Glacier 🙂. You guys are incredible p s . I would never jump in to water in glacier! lol well unless you wanted to pay me maybe 💰
Never underestimate the power of peer pressure 😃 it was hot, and definitely worth the plunge😎 and hey, you’re from Maine, you can handle some cold water 😂
Would you have jumped into that water? What is the coldest water you have ever swam in? 🥶
I am in Southeastern Ontario Canada. I used to go in the water as soon as the ice left, to help neighbours put their docks in. Too old for that today.
Accidentally or on purpose 😂

You will absolutely love it, videos don’t do it justice!
Fantastic, amazing trip. Thank You. All you need is a Scooter.
Does an E scooter count 😂
As ALWAYS, wonderful footage. The best..... thanks
As always, thank you, you’re the best 🙏
We hiked to Avalanche last August. We parked at that Red Rock pullover and walked back then did the hike. We didn't see any bears though. We love Glacier! You can cliff jump into Crater Lake also! You have to do that if you are out here this summer!
You added a lot to your hike 💪 we do want to hit Crater lake this year, I will check out where you can do some cliff jumping! Thank you!
@@FindingOurSomeday th-cam.com/video/HIluS6nowmE/w-d-xo.html Cleetwood Cove Trail. It is at the 8:15 mark of their video.
@@aaronmkeith1622 perfect , thank you! I’ve seen those guys before
Loved your video!
Oh, good, I see you did make it to Avalanche lake!
I can't wait to go back to Glacier NP again
I'm sure enjoying your videos, your doing a good job. Glad you were able to come up and visit Glacier. I've lived here most of my life. You should see Avalanch in the spring, those waterfalls are really spectacular. You are right about the Glaciers unfortunately they have been melting since the ice age. Thanks also for your help at Glacier Bible camp, it's good to here. We do Trinity camp on flathead.
Thank you, we did enjoy our time there , and hope to visit one day in the spring as well to witness the snow melt!
Thank you for taking us along on your adventures. We've been to GNP several times ourselves- DLM 💗
And thank you for joking us 😃 have a great week!
Wow....that was insane. We can't wait to go to glacier NP.
Thank you! It will be worth the wait! I promise 😎
the fly fisherman was very cool with the background...epic
A very cool moment!
That 2nd image was better for Instagram great angle ...! Just beautiful..! Thanks for sharing...!
I agree , I moved for a better angle but included both for an easier to follow video transition. Thank you!
Cheers! Thx.
The Canadian Rockies are breathtaking! You have an amazing back yard, I agree, stay out of the water 🥶😃
What an amazing trip. You definitely showed off some great spots. Love the jumping at red rock. We hope,to make it there this summer !
Glacier has a lot, we barely scratched the surface. Red rock was a blast! This was filmed mid august, sometimes the going to the sun road doesn’t open until end of June into July.
Great video and beautiful family! Thanks for posting!
Yups.. I'm old.. though I have a very young bride of 38 years. The hoary head is a sign of wisdom ; )
Right on😃
@4:41 "I would not have guessed that".... OMG LMAO!!!
Us either 😳
Cute family. Looks like a great time! Definitely need to take my own there now! Thanks for sharing!
I highly recommend it when you can! Thank you 🙏
Those trails are fantastic!
This one and the last one, just WOW! Good camera work!
Awesome video. Glacier is absolutely beautiful
Thank you Bob! I appreciate those suggestions! We will be back there again!
Thanks for sharing this place! Know video doesn't do the scale justice, but its pretty close. Putting it on the list of musts. thanks!
It’s a definite must, glad you enjoyed it! Thank you !
No offense taken, I’m 71 and old is always 10 years ahead of me😂😂
Agree, saying old is not offensive, the context was there so it wasn’t.
Good to hear thank you 😃
Another wonderful video of beautiful views! Lots of nature and you got to see a bear 🐻
You both are correct about going on these wonderful adventures.
Your videos and pics are epic!
Thank you so much for watching!🙏
Love your family vibe! Great video!
Thank you 🙏
That was simply beautiful thank you for sharing amazing..
Glad you enjoyed it! It’s a hike we will never forget 😃
Coldest water I have swam in would be Lake Hope south of Telluride this past summer. The lake is at like 11,000 feet and fed by snow run-off...brrr! I was suppose to swim with my boys in Jackson Lake in the Tetons the previous summer and never did.
Checked out lake hope, looks like a legit hike too! We haven’t touched Colorado yet, we hope to rectify that this year😎
@@FindingOurSomeday as we approached the lake a marmot went running along the lake shore, those are the experiences I love about the outdoors!!
Watched your video and saw you put down your glasses on the ground when you removed your shirt. I turned to husband and said "she's going to forget her glasses" and guess what... So sorry you didn't find them. Thanks for great videos. God bless and stay safe
A few people saw where I set them down in the video! If you watch until the end, you will see how I actually did get them back! 😉 - Jess
One of our favorite parks... Where was the swimming hole? Jumping off the rocks...
We got lucky and hiked Avalanche in a mist, traffic was light
Just past the avalanche hike, heading east. It’s called Red Rock Point.
@@FindingOurSomeday thank you
I am one of those old people, and I think you will find we are not that easily offended. At least I can say I am not. I always try focus on the more important things in life. You mentioned you volunteered at the Bible Camp. Faith in God is THE most important thing in my life, and it sounds as if you have the same way of looking at life.
We have the exact same way of looking at life😎have a great week Paul, thanks for commenting!
I just found you guys on the TH-cam and I already love you all.😊 Amazing family. Love your traveling channel. I'm totally in the Glacier park with you all 😂. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful....
bonjour, ont suit vos videos , et toujours aussi belles vos videos , vu par une famille francaise.merci.
You’re welcome, and thank you!
Love how you incorporate the google earth in your videos.
In case you're like me and just came to see the bear it's at around 10:30.
I don’t blame you, it’s a long episode🙈
Another epic video. "Bear, Bear" black bears can run at speeds around 35 MPH so don't count on out running, out climbing or out swimming them. Just hope they aren't interested in meeting you today or have little ones around. As the old joke goes.... I don't need to out run the bear ....Just out run you.... Love the reflection photo.
😂 yup let’s just hope they are not interested! Thank you 👊
Great vlog guys the colour of the water just beautiful and the scenery. Was that you diving off the rocks Corey? If it was you are one crazy dude 🤣😅. Loving your channel. Safe travels 🤗❤🇬🇧
That water was begging to be jumped into😎and yes that was me diving 😃
Amazing video as usual!! Thank you!
I love it there. Want to go back soon. It takes us 2 days to get there
Absolutely beautiful. I am hoping to move to Kalispell so GNP will be in my backyard!❤️
You guys are a lovely family 👨👩👧👧
Found you after Less Junk mentioned you guys. Loving the channel.
Glad to have you, welcome👋 😃
Nice, we used shuttle to get around. I guess it’s hard to do when you have so much camera equipment. I just love love Glacier 🙂. You guys are incredible p s . I would never jump in to water in glacier! lol well unless you wanted to pay me maybe 💰
Never underestimate the power of peer pressure 😃 it was hot, and definitely worth the plunge😎 and hey, you’re from Maine, you can handle some cold water 😂
Absolutely beautiful.
