Idk if you’ve already done this, because I’ve watched every rebuild you’ve done I’ve just lost track of them by now, but do a rebuild where you keep going till you get a HOF that you draft. Maybe even turn it into a series like this but throw in playing some games here and there (just a handful a year) and maybe even a series. Like 2 years per episode or something so you can get the viewers involved. Just an idea. Love the videos man. Great stuff been a sub for a long time now.
I'm on year 2047&have a switch hitter who will probably break the all time HR RBI RUNS scored records. I love it when you get far enough it's only create players no current players
It’s the best part of the game in my opinion and I ABSOLUTELY agree that it’s interesting when you care about the player. I literally took pictures of my TV a couple years ago because the best player I ever drafted in MLB the Show (Matthew Bacon) was such a legend.

This rebuild was awesome. I was thinking maybe you could do a “Blow It Up” rebuild. Take a team with veterans and completely blow up the roster for prospects

This how I play OOTP, more or less. I also set all my economic engine settings to 0, and sell players to spend money to build a stadium. Not an easy route also.

anyone have a good draft strategy they follow? scouting is kinda weird in this game. i usually sort by most accurate scouting report, make sure he doesn’t have a “2024+” MLB ETA, and then pick the highest potential after that. seems to work decently, but i get a lot of players that look nasty on the scouting report but end up being like a 61 with 76 overall potential. given, i’m drafting later in the draft order but still i feel like there’s a better way.
