Das wirklich Wesentliche auf den Punkt gebracht - auf alle Modus erklärend eingegangen, die verschiedenen Tastenfunktionen ausreichend mit Beispielen erklärt. Sympathisch erklärt.
To Simon: this is by far the best tutorial I've watched regarding the "Flow". You did a brilliant job. This is great for starters who own their very first gimbal (as it is in my case) as well as stuff for repetition. Your video has a place in my bookmarks - if I ever want to repeat ot get an instant information this is super helpful.

Excellent work. Very helpful. I do regret and hope that Insta 360 will fix that they downsize the 360 pano quite a bit, likely for speed of handling and stitching and uploading to social media. However, for me, and many others I suppose, I want the full resolution iPhone photos from the 360 captured 18 photos. The potential to to create a very high resolution 360 is there but regretfully thereis no access to it now

Get the DJI. My OM4 was better. My OM6 is much more stable and reliable.

Hi @Simon, I have a DJI OM4 gimbal and I use it with iphone 13pro (with a mv shure 88 mic & a sandmarc variable nd filter) + moment camera app. It works well most of the time (sometimes it makes small jerks because of over payload). I cannot rotate the axis of the DJI OM$ gimbal to use my main back camera to shoot myself talking and of course the selfie stick is not there. Should I upgrade to Insta360 gimbal? Other than AI tracking and other new cool stuffs, does it have a bigger payload and will it work with moment camera app? Sorry for lots of questions, just over curious about this gimbal. Also, people have already purchased moment camera app, so a video clarifying the diff btw insta360 camera app and moment camera app will be very helpful. Thanks, for reading till the end.
What was x360 thinking with such a short handle and unstable tripod? Both so easily avoided had company provided a longer handle.

The clamp looks exactly like the DJI and some other things look very very similar; is this a rebrand?
I wish they had this for a dslr cam or like a version with a built in camera so i could controll it from my phone and use as a photo booth
Thank you for mentioning the limitations of Android phones.
On an older iPhone 12, the options at the bottom of the screen to change to timelapse etc are not visible, have to use the button on the gimbal to change. On a Vivo 80 android my regular phone, camera zoom options are limited in the app. Most reviews are using an iPhone with the flow, and it appears to be fantastic.
Do you know what buttons to press to change those modes? I have a iPhone 12 and it doesn’t show those modes along the bottom for me
The option to double tap or slide finger in settings.If you select the option for 1 action the other action does the mode.

Great video as always! What holds me back from getting it is that I have a Pixel 7 pro and Insta hasn't tested on that phone yet and according to their site use on the Pixel line is limited. Should I get it, try and return if it doesn't work out?

I don't have this gimble, but I have the DJI OM5. This gimble uses the same clamp a the DJI. The clamp will press the volume buttons on the Pixel 7 Pro since they are in the middle of the side of the phone. Really dumb thing that Google did on this phone's frame. So, the short answer is that yes, it will technically work but you'll need to decide how to trim the clamp to keep it from pressing the volume button. Oh, also, the DJI software is not available on the play store but the Insta360 software is available.
I want to start making video footage for pond5 of landscape footage… so will i be able to produce and upload 4k copies from my iphone 13 and instaflow 360 to pond5?

Hi, I love my new flow but am really confused by Shot Genie; I've found a template, clicked 'I want to film' and filmed all of the suggested shots, now what?! Will the app put them all together, if so how? Or do I have to go back to home, then 'edit' and do it all myself?

What’s the difference between motion filter and Anamorphic lens?
It's for the absolute beginners, and for the price it does what it advertised. We have to stop expecting the very best from something that is NOT designed for full production. I appreciate reviews because they help with decisions but some are over the top. Don't shoot down a product that is not for you, but may work well for others.

Hello Simon and thanks for very interesting videos, I've been watching them with great enthusiasm. But I do have a question; what kind of device/camera would you suggest for me: It should be able to shoot good quality stills and videos, ie. night sky and moon, time-/hyper lapses and good resolution video. Also it should be easy-to-use, meaning it would be relatively small and light - and no attachments needed (except tripod or so) like Dji Osmo mobile 3 gimbal. That one I have already and although it has it's advantages, it is quite heavy when travelling and it takes time to mount my mobile phone to it. Mostly I like to do travel videos and photos, for non-commercial use, for my own pleasure and use :) At the moment I have only my mobile phone Samsung Note20 (not even Ultra) and with that I really don't get the picture quality I want but I've been thinking that I would like to purchase some kind of device just for photos and videos. Easy and quick to use, when action happens - although I don't need action camera for my hobbies or sports, they are quite slo-mo action (hiking and cycling).
I must add that I've already done some research; Dji pocket 2, Insta 360 x3, Dji action 3 and Sony zv-e10 - they all seem to have pros and cons. I'd prefer still quality and larger screen to actually see what have I shot and do I have to retake :D Wifi/BT connectivity is a must.

Thank you for a truly excellent video. So helpful. As a newcomer to Insta360 Flow, is there no in app editing? I'm struggling to find anything. I did use the DJI Osmo models before & their in app editing was excellent I thought.
it's called Stories with a scissors symbol. Click stories, then Create a story or auto edit

Hello Simon. I've been wanting to get a gimbal for some time but I'm not sure which one could handle the weight of a Samsung Galaxy note 10 plus with a moment case and moment anamorphic lens. Would you have any suggestions for this set-up?

Looking at the balancing Im pretty sure that clamp would be over my volume button - how would I get round that 😮 I think this was really designed for iPhones and not my Google Pixel 6.
The clamp actually sits on the screen, not on the edges. I though I would have the same issue, but nope, it does not mess with the phone's buttons.

I have DJI RCS2 ..Going to this for my IPhone I thought be fun for the tracking ..I find it very annoying to use ..handle way too small..feels flimsy ( I know I know its not expensive so it is what it is) Maybe I am use to hand held its throwing me off..I tried several times watching your clips for tracking and it works when it wants too..I like zoom feature though ..thanks for your review! Ill rewatch and mess with more..
How do you change the rrrs on the 360 panoramas. It's just so painfully low res. Any zoomin or use with vr is a blocky mess. At least on iphone 15 pro.
Simon, have you tried connecting an Android phone after using with iPhone? I cannot connect to a Samsung S22 Ultra after a week with my iPhone. Thanks.
I haven't had that problem. You need to make sure you turn off bluetooth in your iPhone when connecting the Samsung, otherwise it will automatically connect to your iPhone and block the Samsung
@@SiHorrocks Works now, thanks! using the native Samsung camera app, the Flow red button does not start video. With the iPhone, it does.

Hi Simon. Thought I'd ask a question as I can't seem to figure this out myself. I have just bought the flow. Never used a gimbal before. Downloaded the Insta360 App and connected the flow. When I go into the camera part, if you look at your video to the right of the red start record button there is all of the options (ie, video, photo, slow motion etc) I have an iPhone 13 pro and those shooting options do not appear on screen in my App. I have deleted the App and reinstalled but the words still do not appear the way they do on the native camera App. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

@@SiHorrocks hi simon. I contacted customer support and they solved the problem. I thought I’d add the answer here just in case you have another viewer who’s as daft as me with the same problem. I had my iPhone display zoom setting set at Larger Text to make the icons on screen bigger. But all that really does is zoom in a bit on your screen, which means the shooting options were still there but my display settings had “cropped” them out. Problem was solved by changing my phone display settings back to Default. Makes icons and text smaller but gives me everything on screen. Thanks

I have android, when I first starting using the flow the gesture control was visible, now it has vanished and I can't find how to enable it, have reinstalled software hoping that fixed the ussue.
