I feel like I have less of an issue with ppl who fake having something versus ppl who fakeclaim (especially ppl who fakeclaim others with no personal experience of what it's like to have tourettes). It's such a huge setback, because even people who have tourettes still get fakeclaimed 🙃 not only online but in real life. If someone who's "faking" is representing it accurately, then whatever. Tics work in patterns. They can be constant, they can happen in patterns over time (monthly, weekly, even seasonally), or they can be triggered by feelings thoughts emotions and actions. You can even grow out of tourettes as you transition to adulthood or they can greatly reduce. It is definitely possible for tics not to show up for long periods of time, but she has a different problem. she had an insane variety of random tics, and she would just choose which ones show up in which videos. When tics do show up they are often the same ones over and over. I am lucky enough to have grown out of my tics to the poin that I rarely get them, however I experienced patterns of tics first hand. My tics were shrugging my shoulders and raising my arms, twitching my wrist, quick humming (no songs or anything), raising my eyebrows, blinking rapidly, and twitching my neck. I would usually only experience one to two at a time of these over a monthly basis. This lady shouted random shit into random places, interupted herself mid sentence, tossed things, shrugged her shoulders, put her face closs to stuff, talked to herself, etc. and she would just choose whch ones to use based on the topic of her video.
The saddest thing is that she went so long with people genuinely supporting her, while all of her tics were nothing but "cutesy" things, like "peekaboo" and "wow" and "beep boo." Truly a disgusting person.
My tics aren't so fun. Literally half of my vocal tics are random noises, grunts and squeaks that are embarrassing and make people stare at me. It's awful and not at all a cutesy thing to luagh about. I can count only two times where I had a vocal tic that was cutesy or funny in context. Plus it's strange to me that their tics are pretty much ALL vocal tics, and they vary in pitch and pacing which is uncommon for recurring tics as well as being context specific like the nursery ryms and packing video. They seem to never have motor tics and if they do they look complelty calculated and staged. It's gross.
As soon as she *made* the first "tic" it looked and sounded way too forced instead of a tic done on impulse. It sounded too "relaxed". The human perspective can tell when something is off in another human being, so she should've known she would get caught eventually. You can't just fake it, especially online.

@@NonsensicalSpudz Yes, that is how it works. Frequency of tics can increase when an individual is stressed, tired, anxious, or excited. It's not out of the question that if a person became more anxious over the years, they would have tics more often.
Tourette's isn't even a mental disorder wtf? It's neurological. As for people who do fake illnesses for attention, it's one of my most despised things because my sister has Munchausen's disorder and she only talks about her fake medical problems. I had to set a boundary with her to never talk about stuff like that cause I refuse to give her what she wants, sympathy. My therapist said this was good too. I have BPD and go to DBT therapy every week. People fake BPD a lot too. It really angers me.
If you had a case of Tourette’s as serious as that, there’s no way they’d be able to suppress them for up to an hour. Yes, you probably can for a few minutes, but no, not an hour whatsoever. I was fortunately given a very weak case of Tourette’s and go months and years without it showing up. My Tourette’s pops up when I get stressed or Anxiety, which is pretty much never.
I think the beginning "evidence" is flawed because some tics can form/ get worse over time but its pretty obvious when someones faking, its a thing you eventually figure out once you see it multiple times
I don't have tourette's, but I do get tics from anxiety occasionally, and I actually can't fathom why they would think it's cute or quirky to fake it for views. The amount of times I've gotten neck cramps from my tics is crazy.
I never understand why people want to pretend to be mentally ill, I have ADHD and as much as I like it because it makes me who I am, its really hard to deal with sometimes and can destroy relationships
yea when this came to surface about her "tics" i got so mad, because I have them, i had them very strong at a young age, they were embarassing, i would always turn away from people whenever i had them. I don't have tourettes, but faking that, as well as just regular tics is just wrong. I have taken anxiety meds and others that calmed my tics down, but i still have them on a day to day basis, even small but her going a whole hour without having them is just not right. You literally can fight your body to stop them, but your body will fight back and its uncomfortable.
I don’t have Tourette’s at all but I do have trauma/anxiety induced tics that can cause me pain and suffering and is something I used to get bullied for. People like that make me so angry because if I could live a normal life like them without having to deal with tics I would in a heartbeat. Someone faking tics for views and money isn’t okay and is hard to watch. Thank you xQc for calling out their bullshit and spreading awareness of people like that.
I genuinely don’t understand why people feel the need to misgendered people, even if they’ve done something bad. Within the first few seconds, you can see one of emeralds profiles that clearly says non-binary. Don’t invalidate someone’s identity just because they’ve done something wrong. I’m not trying to say that emarald is in the right in any way at all, but misgendering someone is just low.
Calling a biological man or woman something other than what they were born as is misgendering them. Just because they're sad to be born in a certain way or feel like something else, doesn't make it so. I can feel like I elephant too, doesn't mean that I become it. You along with everyone else that bow down to this hysterical mental viewpoint are just creating more problems for yourself. just fucking admit that you're a feminin or masculin woman. If you go out into the real world with this soft mentality, you'll be shredded like freaking pulled pork.
Honestly makes me so angry to watch this. I have had tics since I was in middle school and got worse in high school. Constantly being told to “just control it” and that I do this for attention is frustrating. Seeing people fake it for a trend it even worse. All my life I’ve been looked at weirdly for having tics I can not control just for someone to use my disorder for clout.

Unbelievable and this is only one person. The blatant ignorance and disrespect made my stomach turn. My son has Tourette’s and as a parent this was so hard to watch. When we found out he was so young. How do you explain to a young child what is happening to their body and that is uncontrollable. In the early years it was so hard as it was painful at times and sometimes even scary. All that and trying to grow up and fit in socially. He is 15 now and a warrior in my eyes as all who face living with Tourette’s! I do feel education and awareness goes along way in helping people understand. Tourette’s is neurological and not a mental illness. Very different..although it can and often does affect your mental health and self esteem. It is important to know the difference since it is not something a person can control or decide when having tics. If more people did than maybe people like this can be called out and corrected sooner for their unacceptable behavior and we would have more patience and understanding for one another. Mental illness is no joke either and clearly she seems to be possibly in need of some help too.
The crazy thing is I new someone who faked their tics and after I exposed them they tried to dox me after like yikes maybe don't fake a illness next time
I have been court ordered on many medications after first episode psychosis in 2017. I speculate these 'fake' disorders', and people labeled doing this for attention, are actually experiencing tardive dyskinesia and very real psychosomatic issues that.. I understand research methods, and know these get labeled being a persons illness when.. They probably experience abuse, lack personal connections, and are dealing with side effects of either forced medication or other medications they may need for unrelated issues.
It’s almost comical that she did this for so long like as someone with Tourette’s, shits gotta be exhausting to fake it that many times a day everyday, like I’m not even sure I tic that much in a day.
I don't know much about tourettes but seeing her act out her tics vs seeing tiktok videos of people who actually have tourettes is pretty easy to differentiate. You can just tell she's forcing it, especially if you compare it to videos of people who actually have that condition.
i can understand this, but at the same time, there could be people with a disability who "look like theyre faking it", so i wouldnt want to accuse people of faking if im not a professional
@@hawshimagical easy way to distinguish between a faker and someone who actually has it is their thought and speech pattern, people who have tourettes will mostly be able to continue with what they were previously saying even with strong ticks, because the disorder is mostly physical and separate, so it wouldn't cut off their thought pattern, for fakers however this would be hard to do so because the ticks are deliberate, so they need to cut themselves in order to tick, which leads them to repeat their previous sentence instead of continuing
@@hawshimagical and i noticed most people with tourettes don't notice that they're ticking sometimes, or are able to ignore it, while fakers put on huge spotlights on their ticks

As someone who has Tic Disorder, which is Tourette's but without vocal tics, only "motor" or physical ones. It's not something fun to joke about or get views for having. I've had it since I was a kid, and it's gone mainly un-noticed my entire life (luckily) besides the past 5 or so years where it's worsened slightly over time. My entire body is starting to hurt because of it, it's so god damn hard for your muscles to deal with the movements. Sucks someone would fake it because man is it painful to have. Anyone else who has it I'm sorry because I know it sucks feeling like your body is trapping you.
I don't have tourettes but I sometimes get uncontrollably "twitchy" and it's quite painful. I know this doesn't compare to this but in a small way I can relate to people with tourettes. Especially in a situation when you have to be quiet and sit still. I don't know why people would fake this. It doesn't make sense and If you faked it for attention it doesn't work because everyone can see through it. Again I do not have tourettes, I get "twitchy"
Cause it's a dumb concept. But most people don't care about people being trans or nonbinary. It's the small but loud minority that makes people be so against it.

It's kinda crazy I have so many tics in common with your old ones.

Tourette's isn't even a mental disorder wtf? It's neurological. As for people who do fake illnesses for attention, it's one of my most despised things because my sister has Munchausen's disorder and she only talks about her fake medical problems. If you had a case of Tourette’s as serious as that, there’s no way they’d be able to suppress them for up to an hour. Yes, you probably can for a few minutes, but no, not an hour whatsoever. I have met SO many girls these days who live in a paid apartment, on disability, and their diagnosis is 'anxiety' or 'depression'.

I do feel education and awareness goes along way in helping people understand.
Tourette’s is neurological and not a mental illness. Very different..although it can and often does affect your mental health
and self esteem. It is important to know the difference since it is not something a person can control or decide when having tics.
If more people did than maybe people like this can be called out and corrected sooner for their unacceptable behavior and we would
have more patience and understanding for one another. Mental illness is no joke either and clearly she seems to be possibly in need of
some help too.
