    I think the confusing part for me is, the parents seem pretty level headed. Is the situation just that their mothers have to work so many hours as potentially single mothers to the point they are barely ever home? So the kid's main parent is essentially social media and main stream industry such as hip hop culture? How does a 12 year old decide he's going to act like a gang banger? It's too hard to make good $ in today's economy, parents can't be parents because they are fighting just to not be living on the streets, and the kids suffer, pretty much no parent figures and they get easily manipulated by what they see online.

      Some people get the double-whammy and end up born fucked in the head, aswell as born into a fucked up family, which is just a recipy for disaster. And maybe some people end up fucked in the head, yet prevail entirely thanks to a stable and supportive upbringing, just like how some people, against all odds, become good people despite coming from a shitty background.

At least she set one, I’m white and none of my friends had curfews at 17. So at least she tried. She also sounds tired and was at least trying to show up at his court appearances until it started to affect her job. It does happen, whether it's jail, prison, or on the streets. It might not happen all the time, but it happens enough. If you don't trust the police, which most people don't, their protection means nothing.
      I mean, here we are, watching the footage, they get his paperwork in juvy or anywhere else and it's not like it makes things easier. By the way, this isn't a race thing, they all do it. Some nobody snitch is an easy excuse to mess with or worse, especially a kid.

      @@hackdotx4060 The subtext there is just ignorance, and this "we" talk is for the weak. You can't even openly say what you mean, sounds cowardly, because I'm sure you can manage the censorship, other people do fine.
      The idea that any one group of people is responsible for the how snitching is viewed is, as I said, ignorant. As long as crime has existed, so have snitches, so of course they are generally hated.

      In their defense, a single mother can only do so much for their kids while putting food on the table, she can't monitor him 24/7 and likely doesn't have the money to move away, she can't force the kid to do anything against his will because that could lead to even more problems where the kids despise their parents and get even worse. If you thinks it's as simple as moms letting their kids do these things, then you are in a very lucky position in life to have control. Some people aren't so lucky.

    • @Xation
      @Xation 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This can definitely be parented to some degree, but the kids need discipline and need to have respect for their parents. As a parent you need to make them respect you, either through a nice approach or a nasty approach. Preferably nice, kids respond better to it and you get a better relationship with your kids, but some mfs need actual discipline and punishment.
