Cross in the best trim is still no match with finish compared to LBX. Just driven Audi E-Tron (2022) mid spec and LBX is actually more luxurious and better equipped than Audi (which was quite a surprise for me).

The Yaris Cross looks interesting. I like the new customizable LCD dash instruments. The engine sounds like a small Harley Davidson. xD

I took a test drive in the new Cross! If you want or even need to pass a truck. You are out of luck. My salesman said that there’s a turbo Cross by available!

Driving a 2010 Mazda 2, im solo without kids, mainly city to work and 3-4 times a year longer rides for vacation. Decided to get a new car this year. Checked so many cars, in the end i ended up ordering a LBX in highest trim that hopefully arrives in august. Its a small but luxury (and silent!) car, the yaris and yaris cross were too cheap in the interiour. C-HR has an awesome design but is much larger then the LBX. If i could charge at home or at work it would be an electric car but thats not possible.
Cant wait to get the LBX, guess its an awesome daily driver without a family.

Nice summary at the end. I want to change from my 11-year old VW Golf-7 to something else. I'm considering Toyota or Lexus, but I'm not liking their interior quality, backseat space, comfort, etc.
I'm hoping VW comes up with a new T-ROC facelift with improved interior quality (because interior of the present T-ROC is still significantly worse than my 11 year old car ).

I know it's not an SUV, but the Toyota Yaris with this 130hp engine is a much better car than the Toyota Yaris Cross, especially for road trips. Faster, more comfortable, quieter, more agile and consumes less.

I half the Yaris Hatch in GR-Sport trim and it’s by far the best handling car on that Yaris hybrid platform.
But the Cross has its place for sure, it’s the most practical Yaris Hybrid and after driving a colleagues Excel. It’s nice if you like it.
That said I’m buying an LBX, that thing compared to all Yaris is on another level 😂

Corolla Cross is the best family car here. Try out the car with all 4 family members in it before deciding.

For different regions, at least here in the U.K. we only get the CHR and not the Corolla Cross.

I d say the Lexus usually dont have the biggest gap so much extra price is not justified, however u do get better noise insulation
