Great show totally agree fish should only be killed for eating and no more than what you need. Nothing to report this end been waiting for a calm day to get the boat out plaice fishing and the calm day hasn't happened last time I spoke i was going dab fishing which didn't go well either l will get out soon happy Easter

Thank you John, I appreciate that. Yes fish welfare is so important isn't it but as you say, many don't treat the fish like they should and that's a bit sad. I always try my best to give the fish the respect they deserve, I love seeing them swim off. Cheers for watching 👍
Thank you Gordon. It was a pleasant day in fairness, I couldn't really grumble. Let's hope we get a decent run of weather soon. Cheers as always, take care 👍
Hi Gareth great to see & hear you again therapy has been restored glad to see you looking good quiet at the moment had a few blanks but fresh air great all the best to you all thanks.
Thank you Michael, appreciated as always, it was nice to be out there again. Yes it's been hard work of late but hopefully things will start to pick up soon, that would be nice. Cheers as always, take care 👍
@@riversidewithme I find the videos very relaxing and you talk about mental health I work alone in forestry and sometimes it’s hard with no communication with anyone else your videos calm me down and I look forward to seeing them Keep it up 👌👌👌
@user-ft2zh4bp9d That's good to hear thank you. There's another video going on this coming Friday and hopefully you will enjoy that one, nice sunrise etc 👍
Yes definitely Gary, it's so important. I always try my best to treat the fish with respect. Haha yes, even the old lady, that made me chuckle! Cheers 👍
Thank you Dylan, appreciated as always bud. Yes definitely, so important isn't it, especially if we're going to return them. I'll be watching your latest video this evening, quite possibly with a cheeky beer! Take it easy mate 👍😍
Thank you bud, appreciated as always. Yes it's a little difficult under foot there but it can be a great mark on its day. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Well done Gareth cracking video as usual and yes it is a buitifull part of the country was always one of my favourite marks, caught many a fish there and also on lucky rock. Take care and look forward to the next one.
Thank you Christopher, appreciated as always. Great spot isn't it, I like the fact that you never know what's going to turn up there, I think the rough ground holds a lot of food for the fish. Should be another video this coming Friday with a bit of luck . Cheers 👍
Thank you Dan, I'm pleased you enjoyed it. Ah yes, having worked for 7 weekends on the trot, I can see why you want to get out... hopefully you'll be wetting a line very soon! Cheers bud 👍
One of the best marks in south wales, if you are brave enough you are generally rewarded. I’ve had some big cod off there in the colder weather. Great video Gareth
Yes I agree with you there Stu, one of the hardest, if not the hardest mark I fish but it can be rewarding as you say. I think over the years I've probably caught 10 or so species off there, I love the place. Cheers for watching, much appreciated 👍
@@riversidewithme have you ever tried straight off the front onto the mix of sand and rock? It needs to be fairly calm. I had some of the biggest fish I have ever caught off the front
@@studay1007 Yes, many times... awesome spot isn't it. I'll try to get back down there soon. Nice, sounds like you've had some crackers, many good memories for you.

Good to see you back another great easy to watch vlog soon be time to come back to Brixham there's some bloody great congers waiting for you at berry head
Thank you Dave, I appreciate it. Ah that sounds good, I do love my Conger fishing and Berry Head is a place I want to try...will hopefully be back down there soon. Cheers 👍
Thanks William. Yes this is a cracking spot, not easy to fish but it can be worth the effort on certain days, one of my favourite spots. Cheers as always, take care 👍
AHHHHH .... that was a cracking conger bite you had Gareth. Unlucky it came off but hey at least you caught mate. Totally agree with you about fish conservation Gareth. Great video as always mate. Keep up the good work 👏
Thank you Neil, appreciated as always. Ha yes, that was most definitely a Conger, I'll try not to lose it next time! Nice day out in fairness, I love this spot as it's just a nice place to be. Cheers as always 👍
Another great video mate! I just discovered your channel last week and have been bingeing ever since! I was born at the Royal Gwent hospital in Newport, and used to go to Barry in the Summer growing up- I was only a kid but I remember coming out of the sea covered in oil! hahahaha! Havent been back to Wales for 40 years so your vids make me feel nostalgic, but I also learn loads and enjoy your passion and excitement for it! Keep up the good work mate!
Thank you Lee, much appreciated. I'm pleased the videos are bringing back some nice memories for you, that's good to hear. Sounds like you had some good times at Barry, it's one of my favourite places. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Great one Gareth, we used to curse the silver eels years ago but hardly ever see them now. A bit like the dog fish there are so many of them, but they help us beat the blank.
Thank you Richard. Yes the Dogfish seem to be prolific these days and they often save the day as you say, although I hope they don't decline in numbers like the Silver Eels, that would be sad. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Thank you Scott. Yes I filmed this one last Thursday and the weather was pleasant for a change ha! It was nice to see the rod tips bouncing, I'd forgotten what that looked like! Cheers as always mate, take it easy 👍
Hi Gareth, great to have you back, it's been a while since you were on last but a good session. The river towy is back on Monday and after a 15 year lay off I'm back on the salmon and sewin. I'll still hit the sea I love it. Hope you are good and have a lovely Easter break. All the best from south west Wales 👍
Thank you bud, nice of you to say, I appreciate it. Yes it was a nice little session and the weather was pleasant. Ah sounds good, the towy is a great river isn't it, I'm sure you'll have some great sessions! You too, have a good one... cheers 👍
Really enjoyable video as usual mate. You always capture exactly what angling is all about, the wildlife, the plant life, and of course, just enjoying being out amongst nature. Sadly that has been lost these days, its all about the latest gear, catching specimen fish, most anglers these days have absolutely no idea or care about their surroundings, you do and that's why I love your videos so much, even down to your choice of background music, brilliant 👏
Thank you bud, that's nice of you to say. I guess I'm what you would call an old-school anger. For me nowadays, I just enjoy spending a few hours next to the water and being at one with nature, any fish I catch are a bonus. Fishing has always been my number one hobby and hopefully I'll be able to do it for a good few years yet. I appreciate your support, cheers for watching 👍
I know exactly what you mean. I was lucky enough to spend the best parts of 15 years in the angling game as an angling writer, sponsors, radio appearance etc etc and in the end the whole reason I started angling was lost to me. I decided to pack it all in, do something new and never picked a rod up for 3 years. I'm back at it now, strictly as a hobby and strictly to relax and unwind, the wasy it should be.
I went to a rock mark over west whales about 15 year ago and as I came down the cliff and on to the mark and there were five doggies swimming in a rock pool I went to put them back in the sea and someone had cut their fins off that find still makes me sick to this day anyway great watch Garreth glad to see you out again
Terrible that is Peter, I can't believe how cruel some people can be, absolutely no need for it. Thank you, it was nice to be out there again and the weather behaved for a change, an enjoyable day out. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Thank you John, appreciated as always. It was an enjoyable day and it was nice to see the sunshine for a change ha! Hope you're well mate, take it easy 👍
Hi Gareth great to see you back. Fishing is poor all over at the moment 😢, where I live in Kent we have only Dogs around at the moment, when compared to last year we were catching Rays, Whiting, the odd Codling & Dogs. What you have said in your video is definitely correct down here with over fishing responsible for most of the lack of fish. Earlier this year the commercial boats took over 100 tonnes of Rays from my local area & since then I’ve not caught one.
Thank you David, much appreciated, it was nice to be out there again. Absolutely disgusting isn't it, taking over 100 tonnes of Rays is criminal and it should never be allowed. I hope one day we will see a lot of it banned but it shows no sign of slowing up and that's worrying. Hope all is good with you, cheers for watching 👍
Hi Gareth lovely to see you back nice just to get out and a fish is a bonus cracking video as always hope you're keeping well it's definitely been hard the last few months 💙
Thank you Einsley, it was nice to be out there again. As you say, the fish are always a bonus, just being next to the water is what it's all about. I hope you had a nice time down in Brixham! Cheers as always 👍
Yes Brixham was lovely fished your spot by the rail had a big brown crab 2 lobster 1conger about 8lb 1 small bullhuss and a few whiting and pouting over a couple of nights so not bad at all whish I lived there so relaxing in till the last day then the dred of going home kicks in hopefully I'll get back down in October November time again all the best looking forward to the next video 💙
Great to see you back. We love your videos and a fish is just the icing too your wonderful cinematography. Your ethos towards fish welfare is great, those dogfish are dinner for a bigger fish it's all about care for the ecosystem .
Thank you bud, I appreciate it. Nowadays the fish are a bonus for me, I just enjoy spending some time next to the water. Yes you're spot on there, looking after the ecosystem is crucial, precious isn't it. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Hi Gareth, found your channel a few weeks ago and have watched all your videos now, excellent stuff, thoroughly enjoyed them. I love your whole approach to fishing and your respect for wildlife, good on you mate. I can totally relate to so much of what you say in your videos, especially about memories of fishing with your Dad, had some amazing times fishing with my Dad, and fishing the same old places keeps the memories alive. I had a walk down Brixham the other day, you’ve said you love it down there, the sea looked cracking (inbetween the torrential showers!), just wish I took my rod! Looking forward to the next video. All the best.
Hi Maurizio, thanks for the message, I'm pleased to hear that you've been enjoying the videos, that's great. Ah yes, it sounds like you have some great memories of fishing with your Dad and those memories will last a lifetime, no doubt you have many stories to tell! I'm very jealous of the fact that you were down Brixham ha! I certainly do love it down there, hoping to go back in a couple of months. Cheers for watching, much appreciated 👍
I hope you had a good time in Dorset Leighton, despite the hard fishing! Thank you, it was a nice day in fairness, I couldn't really grumble. Cheers as always 👍
Thank you Nick, it was nice to be out there again. Yes I've been struggling big time of late on the fish front, although I've still enjoyed the sessions. Cheers as always, take care 👍
Nice one Gareth!! Been looking out for your latest film for ages...yup being on the water is the best reality check point. Mine is mostly fishing the Usk but all the quality time is the same.Tight lines and good times butty!!
Yes you're right there Richard, any time spent next to the water is quality time and it will take some beating. I'm hoping to fish the Usk shortly, it's been a while and that's unlike me. Cheers for watching, much appreciated 👍
Was looking forward to another of your fishing vlogs. Not only does it bring back your memories but also mine when I used to fish in some of your marks many moons ago. Here's to the next one.
Thank you Brian, I'm pleased that the videos bring back some nice memories for you, that's great to hear. No doubt you have many stories to tell! Cheers for watching, much appreciated 👍
Thank you Royston, appreciated as always. Ha yes, I'll be back down the lighthouse very soon, that's another one of my favourite places, many great memories. Cheers as always 👍
Thank you Richie, appreciated as always. Yes you're right, you do get hounds off there during the summer, I've had a few myself over the years...I forgot to mention this in the video. Cheers bud, tight lines 👍
Thank you Rick, that's nice of you to say. It was an enjoyable little session in fairness, I love that place, something unique about it. Cheers as always, take care 👍
Hi Stephen, hope you're well mate. Thank you, it was nice to have some decent weather for a change ha! Nice little session at a favourite mark of mine. Take care 👍
Another enjoyable video, Gareth. Winter has been hard going this year. My match season is about to kick off , hopefully a few more fish around. I'm looking forward to the Akios pairs later on in the year in North Wales.
Thank you Colin, appreciated as always. No doubt you're looking forward to the upcoming match season, I hope you have some successful sessions! Take it easy 👍
Ah thank you, that's nice of you to say, I appreciate it. There should hopefully be a new video next Friday with a bit of luck. Cheers for the support 👍
Thank you bud. Yes I do sometimes use crab at this mark, although I can rarely get it up my way these days. I've had some nice Bass off this mark over the years, can be great on its day. Cheers for watching 👍
Great video again mate good to see you back out fishing you wouldn’t want to come with me fishing with how some people handle the bream and small silvers hope you had a great Easter weekend look forward to the next one kev
Thank you Kev, it was nice to be out there again, decent weather for a change too! Yes it was good to have a long weekend, could do with a few more of those ha! Hope you had a good one...cheers 👍
@@riversidewithme Regarding conservation , can you remember when you saved that poor old rabbit , only to find it had micsimatosis and probably died the next morning . It's not all about fishing Gareth , it's about making a good video and that's what makes you stand out .
Ah thank you Peter, I appreciate it and I'm pleased to hear that you and your wife enjoy the videos, that's great. With a bit of luck there should be another one next Friday. I appreciate the support 👍
Lovely to see you Gareth, glad you're OK. That video was better than an Easter egg! I was quite upset when you said about the doggies in the bin, really no need for it! Anyway you take care and have a lovely weekend 🤗
Thank you Patricia, it was nice to be on the water again, an enjoyable day in fairness. Yes it's a shame isn't it, I don't understand some people, all fish should be treated with respect. Have a good weekend 👍
Good to see you out pal, The weather has been terrible this year up to now non stop wind and rain, that looked okay though, listen to the water and chill with a bonus couple of fish, What could be better 🤷♂️ Thanks for sharing it with us Gareth 👍🎣🎣
Thank you Nigel. Yes definitely, the weather has been so inconsistent of late, up and down like a yo-yo. I was lucky when I filmed this last week, conditions were perfect really, although the next day it hammered down..talk about good timing ha! Cheers mate, take it easy 👍
@lesglover7016 Ah sorry to hear that, I hope you find something soon. They're talking about restructures at our place again, everything seems to be unstable at the moment. Keep the faith 👍
Hi Gareth its nice to see that you are safe and well mate To be honest I never enjoyed fishing nells point but as they say each to their own.. Maybe it's because my car was broken into the last time I was there.??? You are one hundred percent right about the fishing situation at the moment .. Perhaps it will improve ?? Perhaps if they stopped allowing raw sewage into the rivers ..it would help... However you might find the fishing better on the other side of the channel.. Anyway Gareth stay safe and well mate I'm looking forward to the next video of yours..👍👍👍 .
Thank you Wayne, it was nice to be out again, not the best session I've had down there but enjoyable all the same. Ah that's not good, never nice when your car gets broken into..I hope karma caught up with them! I think that definitely explains why you're not a fan of Nell's point! Yes the fishing on the English side seems so much better than it is over here these days, when I was a kid it was the other way around! I hope things are good with you, have a nice weekend 👍
Nice to see you back Gareth lovely video as always. I think a lot of people have been struggling with the fishing in the area lately but things seem to be looking up in the last week or so. Thanks once again for the time and effort you put into your videos.
Thank you Steve, appreciated as always. Yes hopefully things are on the change now, it's been a tough couple of months, well it has for me anyway ha! Some settled weather would be good, it seems to be all over the place at the moment. Hope all is good with you, cheers 👍
Hi Gareth mate it's lovely to see you back infront of the camera again..once again thoroughly enjoyed the video and you got a few doggies on camera to beat the blank..have a lovely weekend and a nice Easter.. I look forward to watching your next video mate
Thank you Nathan, it was an enjoyable day in fairness. I hope your health is in good shape, no doubt you'll be getting plenty of fishing in this year. Cheers mate, you too, have a good one 👍
Stumbled across your channel today and enjoyed this vid mate. You come across really well and particularly liked the fish care segment, which seems to be seriously lacking in the sea fishing community. I’ll be sure to subscribe. Tight lines pal 🎣
Thank you bud, I appreciate it. It was a pleasant day out and I couldn't really complain. Yes I've always been big on fish welfare, so important isn't it, shame that some people don't really care! Cheers for watching 👍
Good to see you again Gareth, thanks for the video 😊 Been some rough/tough weather lately, so good on you for getting out there! Super scenery shots as well. Have a good weekend yourself and take it easy 😁 🎣
Thank you Andy, nice of you to say. Yes the weather has been terrible of late, all over the shop. When I filmed this last week the weather was perfect, I was very lucky ha! Cheers as always, take care 👍
another great watch as alwayes garath mate i agree what you say with people killing the dogs i be the same as you mate i whould see red as well mate if you was fishing a comp you whould love to catch then and the mount of times they save the blank mate i dont mind catching them as that what us fishermen do is go out to catch fish nice to see you back out fishing as well mate on youtube take care mate look forward to your next vidio as alwaye,s
Thank you Andrew, appreciated as always mate. Terrible isn't it, I don't understand how some people can be so cruel, makes no sense! Ha yes, they can often save the blank and as you say, they're still a fish and they keep those rod tips nodding away! I'll try and squeeze a session in next week, work and weather permitting. Hope all is good with you, have a good weekend mate 👍
What an excellent video and congratulations on reaching 6k subs. Well deserved. Clearly what you are doing attracts the viewers. From the beautiful music at the beginning and the short quotes you have started putting up all add to the experience. A nice little session all in all even with the doggies. I know you said you weren't about showing tying rigs etc but the only rig I ever see used here is a straight forward paternoster rig apart from a whiting rig which differs a little. It has a hook at the end with a running ball lead with a stopper so the fish catch themselves. Would love to see the flapper rig. I totally agree with you re fish and animal welfare in general but if I ever catch a Garfish or King George Whiting, they are coming home with me. They are the equivalent of 35 pounds and 45 pound per kg respectively in a fresh fish shop but they are both a rare catch for the same reasons you described. I'm so glad you get out and get to fish on your own without the hassle of always filming. Just a little jealous!! Thanks for another interesting video. They always end too quickly for me.
Thank you David, appreciated as always. Yes the 6k mark kinda crept up on me, well done for noticing that! I know I said I was going to do another giveaway but after the last one, I vowed not to do another one, it was too much hassle, grown men moaning because they didn't win, ridiculous. Yes I've always been big on fish welfare, I guess I respect nature in general. Nothing wrong with taking the odd fish for the table and so I wouldn't blame you for taking a Garfish or a King George Whiting. I'm pretty sure I showed a diagram of a flapper rig on one of my early videos, I'll take a look and will let you know. The next video will be next Friday, I had a session this morning, weather was spot on in fairness. Hope all is good with you in Oz, enjoy the weekend 👍 Ps - thank you very much the donation, very kind of you that, nice one 😍
@@riversidewithme My pleasure as always. I always feel I get my money's worth watching your ever improving videos. Oz is a little too hot for me. 33 expected today so the a/c will be on most of the day and maybe overnight. Looking forward to the late Autumn coolness and winter. Happy Easter to you and your family. Hope it's a good one and the Easter Bunny is good to you!
Welcome back Gareth really enjoyed watching your videos. Hope you’re ok and your family. Could you please tell me where you park to fish Nell’s as I have been wanting to go fishing there for a while now thanks and stay safe and tight lines and have a great weekend 🎣🎣👍👍
Thank you Jon, it was nice to be out there again. I'm ok thanks, hope all is good with you and yours. So you park in Nell's Point carpark (pay and display), I think it's open between 8am and 11pm. Just a short walk then to the marks, the side nearest to the carpark is easier as the ground is cleaner, personally I'd suggest fishing it on a smaller tide. Cheers 👍
Thank you Gareth for letting me know ye all good thanks yes it is nice to get out and the fishing is starting to pick up. Look forward to watching you’re next video because they are so enjoyable thank you again Gareth have a great Easter weekend 👍👍
Morning Gareth....Great to see you back in action buddy!! Any day fishing is a good day & as mentioned, a fish turning up puts the icing on the cake!! Unfortunately seeing doggies dumped in bins, thrown way up beaches etc is becoming way too a common occurrence & again it seems to be the minority of so called 'anglers' responsible....sad state of affairs mate... Anyways, congrats on a job well done & looking forward to the next masterpiece!!...Wishing you & your good lady a Happy Easter.....Jon.
Happy Easter Jon, nice to hear from you again. Yes I love this mark, there's something special about the place and you never quite know what's going to turn up. Disgusting isn't it, I don't know how people can be so cruel and as you say, it's becoming more and more common. I had a session this morning and that video should be ready for next Friday. Hope all is going well with the pond, cheers as always 👍
All good this end buddy....just finished lambing & busy planning for the Summer/Autumn. We've had so much rain this winter that I've just let the pond do it's own thing....I put in a few gallons of maggots & casters over the last few months, just to help the fish along... I'll get some pics done & get them to you.....Jon.
Hey Gareth great to see you back! Really enjoyed the video. Just love your enthusiastic but gentle presentation style - so relaxing to watch. Only comment I’d have is to wonder whether you do any other sorts of fishing? Let’s be honest the Bristol Channel ain’t exactly the Florida Keys and you’ve got some fabulous river fishing in South Wales in stunning countryside. Ever thought of a vid or two covering river fishing? I’m allowed to take the P out of the Bristol Channel by the way cuz I’m from Bristol!!
Thank you Kevin, I appreciate it, nice of you to say. I caught a lot more fish when I was younger but I still enjoy being out there. I do all types of fishing but these days it's mostly sea fishing. There are some lovely freshwater venues which are fairly close to me, rivers, brooks, the canal etc and I might have a go at filming a session at one of these places...so you never know ha! Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍

Thank you Dave, I appreciate it. Ah that sounds good, I do love my Conger fishing and Berry Head is a place I want to try...will hopefully be back down there soon. Cheers 👍
Great Video Gareth ..Cracking Pouting and Codling well done mate.
Thanks William. Yes this is a cracking spot, not easy to fish but it can be worth the effort on certain days, one of my favourite spots. Cheers as always, take care 👍
Absolutely fantastic to see you back out GA , really enjoyed this post. Happy Easter and all the best special friend.
Thank you John, I appreciate it. There should be a video next Friday too with a bit of luck, I had a session yesterday morning. Happy Easter 👍
AHHHHH .... that was a cracking conger bite you had Gareth.
Great video as usual Gareth, nice to see you back 👍
Thank you Gary. It was a nice little session and the weather behaved for a change ha! Cheers as always, take care 👍
Nice one gareth thoroughly enjoyed it
Thank you Andy. I missed loads of bites that day, too busy faffing about with the camera as per usual ha! Cheers as always, take it easy 👍
cheers Gareth.enjoyed your video....tightlines from all on the north east coast.
Thank you Kevin, nice of you to say. Hope all is well up in the North East. Cheers 👍
Another great video Gareth 🎣
Thank you Marc, I appreciate it. The weather behaved for a change and I enjoyed it. Cheers 👍
Well I’m going to enjoy Good Friday night, thanks in advance mate, all the best to you and the family 👍
Thank you Carl, the same to you and yours. Let's hope we get a decent run of weather soon, that would be nice! Cheers mate 👍
Top stuff seeing you back mate! Love a Barry video, looked a nice calm day. A couple fish aswell makes it a better day 👍🏻
Thank you Scott.
You too, have a good one... cheers 👍
Cracking video mate, remember the good days and make some good days for yourself tight lines mate 🎣🐟🎣
Thank you Ian, I appreciate it. Yes you're right there, you've summed it up very well! Cheers mate 👍
As usual I enjoyed watching the whole episode, I wish you and your family a happy Easter.
Thank you Pawel, I appreciate it. And the same to you and your family...Happy Easter 👍
Great video, really enjoyed it ,and it looked a lovely day
Thank you Andrew. Yes the weather was spot on in fairness, made a nice change ha! Hope all is good with you 👍
Really enjoyable video as usual mate. You always capture exactly what angling is all about, the wildlife, the plant life, and of course, just enjoying being out amongst nature. Sadly that has been lost these days, its all about the latest gear, catching specimen fish, most anglers these days have absolutely no idea or care about their surroundings, you do and that's why I love your videos so much, even down to your choice of background music, brilliant 👏
totally agree Gareth is so good at what he does .
Thank you Dave, that's nice of you to say, I appreciate it 👍
Thank you bud, that's nice of you to say.
Nice ta see ya back Gareth great watch as always mate keep well 🎣
Thank you Jed, appreciated as always. It was an enjoyable day in fairness and the weather was decent too. Hope all is good with you, cheers mate 👍

@@riversidewithme thanks 😊
Fabulous videos buddy, keep them coming & hope you’re keeping well ❤
I'm good thanks Steve, I hope all is good with you. Thank you, I enjoyed being out there, lovely mark in fairness. Cheers for watching 👍
Great to see you back doing what you love . Your video's are very relaxing , that's without a fish caught as well...😊 ..
Thank you Andy, I appreciate that. The fish don't always make an appearance and so I try my best to make a relaxing watch. Enjoy the weekend 👍
Wonderful to see a new video up pal. Good times and all the Easter best…!
Thank you Davo, I appreciate it. And the same to you, I hope you had a good one! Cheers for watching 👍
Really enjoyed this Video Gareth. Cheers mate
You're welcome William, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching 👍
Great video as always. You seem to be in a good mood. I'd enjoyed seeing that!
Thank you, I appreciate it. Ha yes, the sunshine must have made me a little happier than usual! Cheers for watching 👍
Enjoy your videos mate, keep up the good work
Thank you Chris, I appreciate it. Hopefully more to come soon 👍
Just what I needed after a week down dorset doing some hard fishing 🎣 always a pleasure to watch you fish Gareth 👍👍
I hope you had a good time in Dorset Leighton, despite the hard fishing! Thank you, it was a nice day in fairness, I couldn't really grumble. Cheers as always 👍
Yes gareth good 2c u back again my favourite fishing channel hope all is well respect from south wales as always
Thank you bud, that's nice of you to say. It was a lovely day in fairness and the weather behaved, couldn't fault it. Enjoy the weekend 👍
Nice to see you back Gareth. Think everyone on the Bristol Channel have been struggling. Cheers for now.
Nice to see you out and about fishing the local marks Gareth let’s have one at the old lighthouse soon my favourite spot 😊
Thank you Royston, appreciated as always. Ha yes, I'll be back down the lighthouse very soon, that's another one of my favourite places, many great memories. Cheers as always 👍
Glad to see u back mate 👌
Thank you bud, I appreciate it. Thank goodness for the Dogfish ha! Cheers 👍
Cracking video as always Gareth.
Looks a nice mark to fish that.
Would have thought you could pick up a few hounds in the summer.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you Richie, appreciated as always. Yes you're right, you do get hounds off there during the summer, I've had a few myself over the years...I forgot to mention this in the video. Cheers bud, tight lines 👍
Great vid Bud. You're a great ambassador for our sport and our precious environment.
Keep up the magnificent work. X
Thank you Rick, that's nice of you to say. It was an enjoyable little session in fairness, I love that place, something unique about it. Cheers as always, take care 👍
Hello Gareth mate … Great video as always really enjoyed it. Good to see you’re keeping well. Thanks Gareth you take care mate 👍🎣🎣
Another very enjoyable watch. Totally agree with you about fish welfare.
Thank you Ed. Yes I've always been big on fish welfare, I try my best to ensure they are returned safely. Hope all is good with you, cheers 👍
Another fantastic video Gareth. My favourite fishing channel on TH-cam . Keep up the great work . Tight lines !
Ah thank you, that's nice of you to say, I appreciate it. There should hopefully be a new video next Friday with a bit of luck. Cheers for the support 👍
Another enjoyable video , do you ever think of using crab at those rocky marks? I know they can be expensive but may temp an early bass out for you 😁
Thank you bud. Yes I do sometimes use crab at this mark, although I can rarely get it up my way these days. I've had some nice Bass off this mark over the years, can be great on its day. Cheers for watching 👍
I always eagerly await your uploads Gareth. Great to see you out. I hope your keeping well. All the very best 😊
Thank you bud, it was a nice day out, the weather behaved for a change ha! Will try and squeeze a session in next week. Cheers as always, take care 👍
Whether you catch or not it doesn't matter to me , because you always make an enjoyable video , love it 👍
I'm glad you said that Mick as I suspect there's going to be a few blanks during the next month or so ha! Cheers for watching, much appreciated 👍
@@riversidewithme Regarding conservation , can you remember when you saved that poor old rabbit , only to find it had micsimatosis and probably died the next morning . It's not all about fishing Gareth , it's about making a good video and that's what makes you stand out .
Great to see you Gareth. Good to see you keeping well ! Take it easy 👍❤️
Thank you Morgan, appreciated as always. Hope you're doing well, cheers bud 👍
thanks again Gareth. I look forward to your wonderful videos great content. lovely to watch very soothing cheers.
Thank you Wayne, nice to hear from you again. Should be another video next Friday, hopefully! Hope all is good with you bud 👍
Absolutely made my weekend, thanks very much for a brilliant video.
Keep up the good work pal.
Me and the wife love your fishing videos 👍🎣
Good to see you out pal,
The weather has been terrible this year up to now non stop wind and rain, that looked okay though, listen to the water and chill with a bonus couple of fish,
What could be better 🤷♂️
Thanks for sharing it with us Gareth 👍🎣🎣
Thank you Nigel. Yes definitely, the weather has been so inconsistent of late, up and down like a yo-yo. I was lucky when I filmed this last week, conditions were perfect really, although the next day it hammered down..talk about good timing ha! Cheers mate, take it easy 👍
The saying you're looking for is no job to tuff no muff too ruff 😂😂😂😂 great vid mate 🎉
Haha nice one Les...I'll keep that one for a future video! Hope all is well, cheers for watching 👍
All is good well sort of, just lost my.job again twice since January, I'm a transport manager the haulage buisness is not doing well at the moment
@lesglover7016 Ah sorry to hear that, I hope you find something soon. They're talking about restructures at our place again, everything seems to be unstable at the moment. Keep the faith 👍
Awesome as always brother, good to see you back at it, love to Cath and all the fam X
Thank you Matt, I'd forgotten what a camera looked like ha! Hope all is good with you and the crew, looking forward to your next video. Take it easy 👍
What a good Friday treat to see your vid. I'm with you on the fish well being too, please respect those fish guys.
Thank you bud, I appreciate it. Yes definitely, fish welfare is so important isn't it. Cheers for watching, take care 👍
Hi Gareth its nice to see that you are safe and well mate
To be honest I never enjoyed fishing nells point but as they say each to their own..
Good to see you out and about Fantastic as always
Regards
Al
Thank you Alan, appreciated as always. It was a nice day, I love this spot! Hope all is well... cheers 👍
another great watch as alwayes garath mate i agree what you say with people killing the dogs i be the same as you mate
i whould see red as well mate if you was fishing a comp you whould love to catch then and the mount of times they save
the blank mate i dont mind catching them as that what us fishermen do is go out to catch fish nice to see you back out fishing as well mate on youtube
take care mate look forward to your next vidio as alwaye,s
Thank you Andrew, appreciated as always mate. Terrible isn't it, I don't understand how some people can be so cruel, makes no sense! Ha yes, they can often save the blank and as you say, they're still a fish and they keep those rod tips nodding away! I'll try and squeeze a session in next week, work and weather permitting. Hope all is good with you, have a good weekend mate 👍
great vid mate well done
Thank you Laurance, appreciated as always. Hopefully more to come soon 👍
Look forward to watching you’re next video because they are so enjoyable thank you again Gareth have a great Easter weekend 👍👍
awasome video Gareth mate can't wait to see the next one mate take it easy now👍🏴
Thank you Simon, appreciated as always. I'll hopefully be out again shortly with a bit of luck. Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍
wil do Gareth and happy Easter👍
Fished friars point couple months back and not a sniff lol o well that's fishing 👍
Unlucky Paul, I guess there's always next time. Hopefully things will start to pick up soon. Cheers for watching 👍
Nice video m8 👌off out myself in a bit for a bit of bass fishing 👍
Nice one bud, I hope you have a good session! Cheers for watching, appreciated as always! 👍
awesome video as usual... credit where credit is due
Thank you Gavin, nice of you to say. Should be another one next Friday with a bit of luck. Cheers for the support, I appreciate it 👍
Morning Gareth....Great to see you back in action buddy!!
Ok Gareth that would be great. What is a weekend the way? I’m retired and have forgotten.😂😂
@kevinmoore3439 Haha I'm very jealous! I've got another 20 years to go yet 😂
