    I needed this so much. As a young 21 year old woman,I put myself through way too much pressure seeing peers far further than I am in life on social media. Thank you for these conversations, I've learned to be grateful for what I have because I'm not willing to sacrifice anything for a bag.

    The hunger is on a different level… As a junior attorney hungry for success and growth. The sadness of senior advocates at times wanting to take advantage of that, it’s even scary to ask for help these days

      You don't want to say Junior attorneys and Senior attorneys?

      @@simphiwexashe1182 oh haibo Sim there was no need kodwa cause clearly you not familiar with practice. In practice Attorneys and Advocates interact all the time in matters. Usually when an advocate is briefed in a matter most law firms would prefer the junior attorney to work with advocate. What I relayed in that comment was a personal scanerio not even limited to me alone. Now you have me having to explain myself. Wow

    • @simphiwexashe1182
      @simphiwexashe1182 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do have a legal qualifications just like you and I didn't want you to explain yourself it's just that normally I would hear that junior attorneys are ill treated by their seniors in law firms, but I get what you said regarding the briefs. Sorry for your experience I do sympathize with you

    Thank you so much for this conversation. The moment you can't figure out what these people do to get to where they are, its the moment depression kicks in,the self doubt...and by the way you don't learn anything from pictures of nice breakfast, the vacations except being envious. From now on I am going to be more intentional with my social media.

    Umjolo has openly become a trading system, yes mostly a transactional somewhat supply and demand basis-game.
    When as a man, lust is a main attraction to a women, she has all the rights to also get what would be a suitable remuneration for her which is in truly speaking, money and the spoils that comes with it.

    1st time watching this podcast. As a man I can honestly say it's very insightful hearing this topic from females perspective Thank you so much. I do feel that Jackie was so invested in her narrative she couldn't entertain the question of unpacking why the blessers and that behaviour even exists in the 1st place, these timers are broken as well, but I accept that its a whole other topic in of itself. Fantastic from the ladies

    The line isn’t blurry though, it’s purely transactional. What gives rise to these conversations is buyers/sellers remorse. At what point does “help” become “control”? Everybody should take accountability for the relationships and transactions they enter into, don’t change the narrative or claim manipulation after the fact. And most importantly, think for yourself don’t be a follower.

      I find that it’s usually people who are no longer able to engage in the system they helped to propel that comeback and criticise the very system, for instance a young pretty girl who has aged and not as “desirable” or the guy that losses all his money and is also not longer “desirable “ and feel some type of way about not having access

    Sho, this speaks to a lot of our societies dysfunction, esp the last part of the convo. 80's kids us, were raised by very sick very strict parents who taught us taught us to keep our heads down and work in our little corner, we inherited and developed other illnesses - lack of confidence etc- that we are now raising our 2000 kids with. It all comes to a head because ma 2000 live in a very fast paced info age that the 70's & 80's parent is constantly catching up on. Mind you all the while each generation gets better at hiding these ills and things that matter and even better yet at being rebellious and loudly outlandish. It's a mutating cancer. However; by being self aware, teaching emotional restraint, meditation, therapy and such we can allow for vulnerability and conversation about the traumas we carry and slowly begin to heal our little corners to impact the greater canvas. We see it in social media where the admission of one's fears etc heaves a massive global sigh that 'hey me too' and open conversations begin on any topic.

      And we need more circular programmes, because those few that exist are mainly religious based and are very judgemental, that's why it's hard for men to open up.

    • @sibusisocharisma9948
      @sibusisocharisma9948 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And religious people say the grooming of this comes from secular narrative which I kind of agree not put one the point you make that as a person of faith myself I do agree that religion does close doors of communication regarding such issues.

    The saddest thing that I see from this whole culture is that these people who are doing these things are women who are suppose to be goddesses that raise a nation of children kodwa just look at what is important to these women? Imagine how thier kids will be? Imagine the principles that they are learning and picking up from this culture? We are creating such a sick society just because of materialism its really disgusting. There are so many more important things in life kodwa ke everyone makes their bed they will sleep in it. As a woman who is a blesses you should expect that your daughter will one day date someone who is 20yrs their senior and there will be nothing you can do because you feed her the posion.

Are also suffering history to treat women this way. I think humanity all over the world is somehow the same. Who is responsible to rehabilitate?
