    Jackie I cried when I heard your story. I am currently at the position where I am disconnected from things that deter my growth. I stopped drinking too much and I'm not an alcoholic person but because I had friends who drink too much I felt the need to drink. Right now for whatever reason I am not interested in anyone inviting me to drink. I am my own person and I love reading too and I feel the need to focus on my growth right now. I feel called.
    Thank you Cici for sharing your beautiful story with us. 💖

    I'm a big fan of Jackie Phamotse, I'm always enthralled everytime she shares her story or chimes in about social issues. In a time where its easier to trash and dismiss people she just shared a personal story about her dad, who abused them (and that's inexcusable) but to have the critical thinking to understand and even humanise him takes a certain level of EQ. Nothing happens in a silo, a lot of black people, men and women are going through the most because of a system which is built and sustained to perpetually keep them into subjugation. Almost all of our social issues stem from that. If only we stood together, healed together, learned and unlearned together to fight the real enemy which is white capital hegemony only then can we stand a chance. This is not a gender war its an agenda war.

    Sbu, thank you for being a big brother to many young men and women in this country. Please, if it ever come to a point where you feel low or hit by depression or whatever that challenges your self worth, I want you to count all the young men and women whom you opened doors to, gave opportunities to, held their hands through this hard life, and shake the feeling of not being important in this life. Know that you have contributed enormously in this life.
    The only issue denting on your image a bit right now is the Zahara issue, please my brother, find a way to resolve it in an amicable way even if you feel like it would be an admission of guilt doing any kind of favour for her.
    You are one valuable man in this country. May you multiply.

    • @skhumbuzomagubane
      @skhumbuzomagubane 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      DJ Sbu is not guilty, study music business and watch all Zaharas interviews and you will find all the answers. If one day he chooses to speak the truth it won't be nice kuzobe sengathi he is a bully. He has taken a high moral ground while people are lying on his name and but his legacy will continue to rise. Eventually you will see ukuthi abanye abantu they don't want to take accountability for their actions

    A tremendously courageous figure. She has exposed a world relatively unknown to many. Her work will fall nothing short of freedom fighting across history's pages. It is indeed true that in all spheres of life : Aluta Continua.
    Her horrendous and traumatic experiences leave one shaken to the core. The human spirit's ability to triumph over adversity will forever remain part of universal inspiration.
    Thank you DJ Sbu for the many lives you have touched through your gift and thank you Sis Jackie for not only impacting women but us men too.
