Useful video and good explanation as to what it's purpose is. From the Haynes manual inlet manifold to cylinder head nuts/bolts torque wrench settings 10Nm or 7 lbf ft

Thanks and appreciate the feedback. I let my car idle for 20 mins after fitting and even when open Bonnet. Inlet was cold to touch. Amazing the difference
@@TheParrottBros after driving, it's amazing how you touch it for a lot longer than stock. Crazy how a spacer can reduce temps that much. Not that I spend all day touching the mani 🤣
Fabulous description of the job mate! Love the refinished manifold in Black. Have you done a video on refinishing the engine bay and the various components?
Thanks buddy, there is a couple videos in the playlist. One is painting components in the same wrinkle paint I used and another video on engine dressing and aftermarket changes you can make if that’s what you mean :)
@@TheParrottBros thanks mate will check them out. I want to keep it all original but clean, paint, detail, etc to make it shiny and new. I think that will also make working under the bonnet a less messy business!
Was thinking of fitting one of these on my hybrid turbo mk4 golf gti,,I do find i get quite a bit of heat soak. Have you noticed much difference since fitting. Great video again matey.
I’ll be honest I’ve only driving it about 2 miles since fitting as only just finished putting the car back together. But have used them in the past and there are very good
Great video, used your buyers guide when I bought mine in September, would love to do some of the mods you do, but everything’s so expensive here in Norway:/ Greetings from up north
I do like that colour - as you say it matches the rest of the covers under the bonnet and looks very OEM. Will you do the same with the cam cover or not bother? I can't remember, did you do a video on painting it?
I’m not going to paint the cam Cover as I use the original engine covers it makes it look very neat. I did do a video on painting the charge pipe with the vht wrinkle paint yes. It’s in the tt playlist 👍🏻
I have kept all original systems in place, I won’t delete any just replace pipes when necessary. The n249 system for road driving works fine in my eyes
Apologies for commenting on this video, I’m looking for a video on changing the automatic gear lever on a Mk1 TT, I have a 3.2 Mk1 coupe but I hate the gear changer
Torque for inlet manifold to head is too 10 Nm, it also says "intake manifold support to intake manifold 20Nm". While you're there, you may check the injector plastic cups on the manifold as they crack, cheap to replace from Audi *dont forget to put liquid teflon or teflon tape on them*, 4Nm
If you were to drive 2 Tt’s and then stop and measure temps you would see the difference. All be it for most probably not necessary but every little helps. Water meth injection would be a few better option
The print is fine. Front print should be between 2" to 3.5" from the collar depending on print. Roughly 3 to 4 fingers. I use to print T-shirts. If it were brought to me for approval, I would have said run it.

Thanks for confirming that, everything I found online pointed to it being that, just seemed light. Appreciate the comment 👌🏻

Hi, very good, however, personally, I fitted temp bungs in the injector ports, so, I didn't drop a nut or washer down there.
I’m just awfully careful but your right it’s worth doing something, taping them or covering if you don’t wanna have to take it all back off again 😂

You always start with the inside bolts first and work your way outward

So how much hp with this spacer??? 😂
Please can you send black stickers :)
