- You will love the texture in the Cobblestone Beanie Crochet Pattern which includes beautiful single crochet puff stitches. I really feel like the little single crochet puff stitches look like cobblestone which is why I have given this beanie its name. The single crochet puff stitch is surprisingly easy to work. It also has a wonderful rhythm to it once you get going!
This crochet pattern is available in English only and written in American crochet terms.

Can you crochet neck ties please
How do you make the pom poms for the top ? Thank you
Hi, I have purchased this lovely pattern but was hoping for directions to make them for children. How wide / stitches would you suggest the brim band be for a 9 year old.
Hi...I'm pretty new to crocheting, but want to try this hat. Right out of the gate, I'm not understanding the directions ??? To start : chain 10, row 1 slip st in each chain across, ch 1, turn ( 9 sl sts), row 2 working in the blo, sl st in each st across, ch 1, turn ( 9 sl sts).... now continue to repeat row 2 until work measure 16-17 in. ????? 10 chains worked with the instructions only equals a few inches ??? I'm so confused ??? LOL Could someone who knows crochet please help me out ? Is it just short to show an example ????
Yes, keep working the 9 stitches, chaining 1 at the end of each row to create the "band if the hat. What you end up with is a long strip of crocheted strip that is stretchy. Once it is long enough for the circumference of your head, then join (with slip stitches)the strip together. This hat is worked "from the "brim up". Once brim is done you will be working in rows, but "in the round", working your way up to the crown. My best advice is to slow the video down in settings to like 75% and then watch on largest screen. Possible (cast to TV if possible) and then stop when needed to "catch up". As a neginning crocheter, it is helpful to use stitch markers or pieces of different colored yarn to mark your rows. If in doubt about the stitch (like hdc 2 together) take the time to look the stitch up so you are familiar with the verbiage. Her patterns are fairly easy to understand Once you are familiar with the different types of constructing a hat. Some are brim up like this one, where the brim us worked first ten joined and stitches spread evenly at one edge of brim. Others are made from the top down, with increases as you stitch, ending with the brim. Yet still, some are crocheted into a rectangle, the seam sewed up at the end with the crown gathered by cinxhing up the fabric with a tapestry or yarn needle. Hope this helps. ❤
Sarah does the brim first then starts the hat she has many that you will see always does the brim first then puts together and then start the hat part she is really very good at teaching all her tutorials are great yes at first it looked like huh but keep watching you will enjoy❤
Thank you so much for your replies , ladies. I was thinking the chain, and the stitches, were going to be the circumference of the hat, in the the same direction she was crocheting, and I couldn't figure out how that was supposed to equal up to 17 inches. I now understand she is going the other direction....LOL...rookie thinking . Thanks again :)
I like watching the tutorial, it will all be shown. Good luck and persevere crochet is so satisfying!
