Fantastic battle report! Im about to build my squig army and seeing this report made me super hyped to get started! Im also going to be using them for my old world army too!
Not sure if im mis interpreting what happenned, but it sounds like the Mawcrusha survived because he gained a wound from 'Strength from Victory' at 20:10, but the ability just increases the wound characteristic, you don't heal the wound?
Yep, he gained a wound so was up to 19, but when the Squigs fled in battleshock they brought him up to 18 wounds (his original health total) but he remained alive with 1 health left because of Strength from Victory!
When the Gitz mashine is running it will run over everthing! (You also forgot that snufflers get +1 under the moon so you get the +1 attack on 5+ and ward on 2+)
I wonder if the warscroll rejigs to make units 'play the way they look' will tone down squigs. As Jordan says, they don't look as though they do ... that.
I think you make a mistake turn 1 Gloomspite, squigboss can give a movement hero phase only on the « start phase »and the buff during the phase.. you can’t give both 😢
You can give both of buffs as long as you remain in range after you allow them to move. So you move a bunch of them forward but conga line some back. To keep in range.
Slight mistake on the army build. You refer to your fungoid cave shaman as a madcap, though you paid the points for one. Great looking armies by the way 😁
I feel like I have a hard time keeping my foot heroes up with my bounderz lol, they're just so much faster in comparison (unless you're in a situation like this where you're getting charged/pinned a bit)
@@Skinnyperegrine I ended up being lucky enough to give my bounders in range of three buffs fighting giants I got both hit and wound mortals and the fight on death. I fight a very defensive style leting my opponents come to me and then I charge into them killing them. While having my grots hold the objectives.
@@krampusthestoryteller1416 double Reinforced Squig herds. We didn't even have to watch what happens when they all get +1 to attack from charging... it is just nonsense what they can do.
What do you think of this list? Strategy: General use "touched" on a Warchanter (that later fix himself) to get a buff for hoarfrost on a 6 pig unit. Warc. gives +1 attack and mystic shield to 1 6 pig units and +1 more to anotehr 6 pig or Mawa. At that point you have 2 units that can remove everything and can move 9" away after combat, making it difficult for a slow opponent to catch back. Actually felt sorry for the orc’s, that’s what happens sometimes with dice 🎲 rolls and it sucks but that’s the gameplay 👹👍🎲still a great battle report once again best channel out there thanks guys

This report is exactly why i am down on playing IJ even though i love them. always charge in and not do enough and get decimated on the swing back. 4+ save is awful.
The IJ player made a horrible choice fighting the Snufflers. He got greedy for no real reason and got hit with this strongest unit at this 10 brutes rather than going all in with them
It’s the background music in turn 2. I heard it as well and it sounds like my phone alarm. It’s subtle, but there. It’s not an outright beep but it’s a high pitched tone that repeats.
@@SeasonofWar it’s definitely not on my end as I checked that just in case before commenting. It’s during turn 2. Obviously, it’s up to you whether you look at it in case of using that track for future videos, I thought it better to make you aware than to say nothing, as I’m sure there are others who found it very distracting who didn’t say anything in the comments.
Little Goblins with absolutely mad damage. And recursion. And speed. It's the whole package, no weaknesses at all. Played Squig herd at a tournament, one of the worst games I've ever experienced.
Weaknesses : very vulnerable to shooting, squishy and extremely low bravery of the army overall. They are good indeed but metawise they are under 50% of victory since many months.
@@Kimtanashino Everything is vulnerable to shooting, and thats factored into its cost, so if you take a block of shooting its expensive and get something teleported onto them you're even worse off.
I think AoS is a good game but in my case nobody to play around with. Hardly played a few games this edition and in no way I'm going to buy the new edition stuff. I'm done with AoS

lord Kroak can also cast his warscroll spell as many times as he wants. it does specify this in the spell itself

Ah missed the timing - but I really didn't make much use of the movement so didn't have much of an effect thankfully.

Remember if you bring a loon boss. You can have hits do mortal wounds on sixes and wounds do mortal wounds on sixes. For the bounders

That turn 1 highlights exactly why I own none of that unit despite playing Gitz. Just watching it feels bad, I can't imagine being one of the players.
