So as many keen-eyed commenters have pointed out, we should have deployed on the top and bottom edges here, not the side edges. PSA - Don't set up your Sabotage Showdown like we did!

I've watched several of these and I still have only a faint idea of how it works. The dice rolls are completely mystifying.

I agree that the combat would be more understandable if they showed the cards (so you can see the expertise charts) and worked out the tree path on the video. It would slow things down a bit but I think the understanding for the viewer would be worth the longer run time.
Don't know who did the painting, but I love the soft quality the stormtroopers/Vader/bad bros give off. Very clean. Excellent job
Really feel like you guys brought it on the paint jobs for both these teams, some of the prettiest minis I've seen on the channel.

The best thing is I sold an amok Tarman figure I’ve had for 10+ years that sold for $2 less than what I got my copy of Shatterpoint for….YUP! Basically it feels like I got it for free!

Unfortunately the teams decided this from the start.
Ewoks are a "complete" Strike Team, with full synergy available between their two squads, and more then good enough units (their base stats are surprisingly good, on par with/better than Clones, as weird as that is. IMO they should have been a finesse team, not a direct beat down/fighting team). There was a lot of commentary about them having low endurance or running out of resources/needing to not play out the third struggle but honestly, that's just not true. Empire was just as wounded as the Ewoks and being out of force is meaningless when your next draw was a full Force refresh (that's actually a sign of a good squad). Empire's "infinite" Force refreshing actually made no difference because Force only matters if you can use it and use it well.
Empire meanwhile was handicapped from the start. It has no second squad to use, yet the Sergeant's abilities are heavily synergy based. Gideon/Death Trooper will help but even then Empire is still waiting on another Storm Trooper support (or even a Storm Trooper Primary!) to release to really come together. Also, Bounty Hunters were a nice attempt to cover the synergy hole in theory, sadly in practice their stats just aren't good enough. And lets not forget the lack of movement/utility on the Aura/Cad. Wicket/Logrey moved whole squads across the board (and Chirpa moved all over smacking stuff), Aurra/Cad have nothing like that (just another reason why they don't work). As this game shows, movement wins games.

15:30 you can’t use the same reaction twice in the same turn, so Aurra can only make use of “Coordinated Offensive” on one of her attacks, not both.
I have no idea how shatterpoint works, killteam 4 lyf, but the paintjobs are crisp! Keep up the rad content, always a blast

Have you considered doing an episode on Underworlds ? Played my first match yesterday and there was a lot i liked. While it truly does feel more like a boardgame it was quite fun and the miniatures of the current set (deathgorge) are pretty awesome.

I really wanted to see Brad play the Ewoks, because he kind of sounds like an Ewok, but it was still good to see Vic clean up with the furry little bastards.
By all that is good in the galaxy, whose bright idea was it to introduce an ecological disaster by shipping ewoks off world? The recap animation at 11:10 is a really nice touch!

I haven’t messed with them too much so I don’t know. is there any synergy between troopers and inquisitors from the galactic empire keyword that would justify running an inquisitor secondary instead of the general ?

Did you guys play perpendicular? I believe you were not set up on the right edges.
i think the struggle 2 should have been oriented perpendicular to what was played. the card should be read from player 1 perspective.

Great video. But you started deploying on the wrong sides. The struggle might have lasted longer had you been on the proper sides.

Essentially you can pay force to give the unit with payday an extra faction tag for a turn.

Ewoks are so broken... you get the trappers/hunters in range of both chirpa and logray and they're nigh unstoppable.
