Bodycam did not melt my pc, but it did in fact force me to buy some new pants... Hope you all enjoyed the video! I had a great time playing these games and meeting all of these players. Let me know of some other Realistic Games that are worth checking out. I might make another one of these videos in the future.
the best part of Squad is that the players are in my experience always very friendly and welcoming to new players. Just hop on a new player friendly server and let everyone know that you're new and they will go out of their way to help you get going
I recommend: Doorkickers 2 - A top down shooter where you guide a squad of soldiers through various buildings to do objectives, which requires a lot of use of real world tactics. Arma 3 - A very large scale first/third person shooter game, with typically very long and realistic missions. SCP: 5K - Although they are going farther away from the regular zombies, it is the closest thing (other than Arma mods) that I know of to a realistic zombie game.
I showed my dad the first game, "six days in Fallujah", since he is an Iraq war veteran who was deployed in Fallujah. Not only that, but he was part of the initial invasion. He said that it was pretty much exactly what he had done, just digitalized
16:25 just imagine you’re a hostage or suspect, listening to the swat team raiding your building talking bout Italian Olive Garden and where you’re going for dinner that night. I think then you know you’re screwed.
Nah I wouldn't think that instead I'd be very happy that some people that cool arrived to save me (Question: Why do you think they're cool? Answer: Because they are so confident that they'll handle this mission like a piece of cake)
Good video! One detail that I think is important is that 6 days has procedural map creation. It is the same "environment" map but each time you enter the game the map is different in its house concept, places, rooms and other details. You should have tried HELL LET LOOSE, it's like Squad but from World War II... a very good game, even the maps are aerial recreations of the areas of 1943, there are many videos talking about that.
Thanks! I tried Hell Let Loose for this video but it kept giving me a connection error. To be fair, I have a video on the game already, it’s the first one on this channel, but that was a while ago.
As you picked the coffee, a slit second before I shouted, "macchiato!!" at my monitor and you picked it. It was kinda cool... and further proof we are in the matrix...
its the coding of the game that are focused on realistic behavior that makes a game "realistic". The Graphics of the game could also help on it looking realistic
Arma 3 is 100% worth checking out, either the zues game mode or warlords. It is basically Squad on steroids. The maps are massive islands , the largest of which being 255km^2. Arma Reforger is a good option. It has better graphics and is more new user friendly.
Just some tips for bodycam from a top 10,000 player. Crouching and aiming down sights allows you to be completely silent when moving. Aim a little above where you want to shoot if you have a sight on a weapon as the gun mechanics are very realistic and your reticle is aimed downward to compensate for the height difference between where your barrel is and the sight. Camping gets you killed, the drones will give you away via comms so if you stay moving it makes callouts harder because the drone has to go find his teammates after you
@ No unfortunately minimum GPU specs require a rx 5700 and up or an rtx 2070 or up from that. My specs are a ryzen 7 5800x3d 32gb of ram and an rtx 3080ti

tips: 1. when you join the server and get to pick which side of the military you want to join, you can use that moment to take a good look at both sides how their troops look like in general, to get a better idea and differentiate between friends to foes, because in every map there's completely different countries and terrains, so there's clear difference between players when you're using every cue to your advantage. 2. Always scan every little crevice, tree, big rocks, any window, sides of buildings etc in your horizon before pushing forward to the next points of interest/objectives. When you wait things out and observe as much as possible, you'll die way less and kill way more, hence great K/D. of course try not to camp too long because it's boring af and you might be losing if you don't actively make the enemy team lose points, so kill enemies, destroy all their vehicles and planes and capture all objectives. To achieve all of this, always use binoculars. 3. If you spot someone, the first thing to always do is check their uniform type without being detected, then check on the map (M or Esc button) if you see a player icon on the map where the target is located, and if you don't see any green/purple/cyan/yellow mark, it's 100% enemy. calculate its distance from you in the map, zero your gun (hold X and scroll mouse wheel forward or backward) to the enemy's rough distance from you, then shoot that mf. always fight for Marksman/Sniper role if opportunity comes because it's a rare role to get and it's tons of fun.

Both the first and the last clips in Bodycam had me scratching my head as to why you kept staring at enemies instead of shooting them :P I never played Bodycam, but it is very clear that the green text appears above friendlies' heads even if they are behind walls, and then a green box appears if they are in your sight.
Subbed after your Oblivion video last month. And glad I did as the follow up video did not disappoint. Looking forward to looking through your previous videos. Body Cam looked interesting. I remember seeing it advertised when it first started hitting the gaming headlines. If they really do add a zombies mode, I’ll have to buy it. That would be a lot of fun… I think 😅
The zombies mode, if done right, could be banger. Thanks for sticking around and giving my other videos a shot. I really do appreciate it. Also the Morrowind video should be out at some point in the future if you were looking forward to that.
This video was great and kept my attention the.whole time. It seemed short and I wish it was way longer. I would love a non gps realistic game video done by yourself.
You hit this point in squad after a couple hundred hours where you just became a slayer and can take out whole squad’s players no problem. It’ll get to the point where you take medic because they often get at least a versatile primary and you can heal yourself so your ability to persist in conflict is insane and with a lot of medics now having access to grenades, medics often are the most aggressive and busy people in squad. Just don’t forget to harass riflemen for their ammo bags
You’ve definitely gotta look at the map constantly on Squad, it really helps determine if who you’re about to shoot is enemy or not. I’ve got 2100 hours and counting, it gets much easier.
In games like Squad, Squad 44 and HLL everyone wants to be in a squad, but no one wants to lead a squad. If your squad leader is a newbie and doesn't know how to play he gets helped by his squad because they know they probably won't get much better
6 days in Fallujah is not an easy game at all. If you play war games and go in solo, you will die. If you even play with a squad y’all better communicate and actually cover one another. The ai is insane, I’ve never experienced ai like 6 days in Fallujah.
Project Zomboid is a game that is realistic, but not in the traditional sense of it having good graphics. It's an isometric 2.5D zombie survival game, but the thing that sets the game apart is the unwavering commitment to realism in its mechanics. It is truly how an actual zombie survival scenario would play out. Your character has all the needs of a person in real life: hunger, thirst, tiredness, entertainment, temperature, and sickness. You are no stronger than the zombies, and even allowing one to sneak up on you and get a bite in is a 100% chance of your character getting infected and dying. There are so many mechanics in the game that are realistic - cooking, repairing cars, reading books, cleaning yourself, shaving your hair, reading maps, farming, fishing, carpentry, first aid, etc. that you really feel that *you* are the person that has a slight cold, is tired, hungry, and slightly depressed in the house that was just reclaimed from its undead former residents.
If you want to try this experiment again, I'd recommend trying to team up with OperatorDrewski and/or his crew members if you want experienced and dedicated milsim (military sim) players. Edit: My suggestion is Digital Combat Simulator/Digital Combat Simulator World (DCS), a combat flight sim. Flight sim youtubers include OperatorDrewski, Ralfidude, Growling Sidewinder, Renzic (he's a crash compilation guy), and the player group Grim Reapers.

Realism is about achieving perceptual fidelity, while simulation focuses on functional mimicry. Both can overlap but don’t always have to.

This video is way too underrated, I ate 2 corndogs and this was the most magnificent video to eat them to. 10/10
Did you have ketchup or mustard with them?
@@MrSaviorHD dipped it in ketchup once every other bite precisely
"I found the mortar strikes- *Boom!*"
If I could collab with @OperatorDrewski that would be sick.

I just do it. Worst case scenario I ALT+F4 and they forget lol. I know that Im recording and hope to god that it works
