Arrows is amazing! I started out with the pioneer and did some customization to it now it flies like a umx timber x 😁 the only problem with hobby zone is they sell out fast! So you have to jump on something arrows fast!✌🏼
Hi, retired jump pilot but new to r/c here. Based on the reviews by yourself & other TH-camrs, I started collecting an Arrow's 'training wing' about a year ago. (With UK prices it takes time) So far, I've their J3 Cub to learn on, the T33 (with Vector) & BAE Hawk (without) for the open farmland behind my house, & their P51 for when I've conquered all the others & feeling rather brave! They're all still boxed up, there are now 2 new batteries for each type & a full-fat multi-charger to suit, a fresh tin of Minwax Polycrylic gloss to give them some 'armour plating' & a set of foam brushes. All in all, I've now run out of excuses not to make a complete fool of myself . . . so, wish me luck : )
I would love to see Eachine, Volantex or Rage bring out a small 400-500 mm P-38L. It's one of my favorite airplanes. It would be a great addition to their line up of small Warbirds. I own several and love flying them. Take care y'all and have fun. P-38L⚡️Let's go ‼️✌️
The Arrows Marlin was my first EDF, my first plane with flaps. I bought it after seeing your review, you retrieved it from Death Valley without any damage. 👍
I've been a Zee 3S & 4S LiPo battery user for two years and haven't had any problems with them. They're a good value and they last a long time if you take care of them. I have the Arrows Corsair that I really like. Flies great.
I loved my Arrows P51. But the probs are brittle and pricey. P factor caused to many crashes and it wasn’t good for grass ops at all. If I had a runway like yours I’d buy another one. But mine ended up in the trash can after I upgraded it to 4 S and drove it in the ground like a dart . LOL. Pilot error. Lost it in a knife edge pass. 😮
Super video Saylors, Arrows products are quality. I had their T-28 as well. I always wanted the Marlin, it's a awesome 64mm edf. I was able to see the prototype at Dan's shop before its release, back when it was $154 :). I think the FMS 64mm Futura at $189 reg price gives the Marlin a big run for the money. Good stuff Nate n Abby, AirHammer out!!
To answer your question, no I don't own an Arrows anything and you know why!! But I AGREE with everything you said about these two flyers!! Thanks Saylors!! You're the BEST!! 💟👍😘
I own a Marlin and I really like it. The 64mm size is a nice step up from the 50mm hand launch / belly land edf's out there. This plane flies great. Verry stable on the ground and in the air. It does everything well. I run a 2000 4s smart pack in mine and it fits well for CG balance and provides plenty of power. Try it you'll like it!
Okay. I’m sold. I have a little beginner p40 here Friday. May is a three paycheck month the Arrows P51 will be MINE. I haven’t flown for years but have a stable of crawlers. I love the fun your little family has. Thanks for the good spirit you bring to your program. Yes! All I use are Zee batteries. I have some two years old and still haven’t poofed. Wouldn’t it be cool if they made LIPO Drop tanks for extended time??
I have followed you guys for some time and the one thing I’m so jealous of is your flying field … Airport I assume. I wish/dream I had a club close to me that was as good as your field. Happy though for you to be able do your reviews at such a great place to fly. Keep the videos coming!
I don't own an arrows plane but I want my first to be the arrows pioneer UMX. Neat little plane with big wheels and a brushless motor. Runs on 2s power, and I remember how awesome it looked when Nate was doing short little landings with it in the snow. It's $170 last I checked. Can't wait to get me one
The Marlin is $209 and the P-51 is $239. Where does the TROLL with the long (user name) see these for $650??? ARROWS RC PLANES are the best quality for the price point RC planes, and jets etc. Buy one and you’ll see what Nate is talking about! 💯👍🏻
In addition, the 120C 4S Zeee battery is the only battery that would get my Freewing F-22 to takeoff from a grass runway. I'm pretty sure it's not actually 120 (see research), but it does have more oomph than many other brands.
I’m a newer pilot. I have been flying for just about two years now. I don’t have a flying field within three hours drive, so I have had to teach myself everything with flying. Using realflight simulator has progressed my learning more than anything else. It saves you money on crash’s, while teaching you muscle memory. I was able to teach myself to fly without safe,or anything else using a sim. I can’t recommend using a sim to learn enough. There are a few thing the sim misses, but as a training tool, there isn’t anything better to teach you the basics.
I would love to have that P51 Mustang. Unfortunately, it's a PNP kit and if you don't already have a 6 channel transmitter and a compatible battery with charger, the full set up will run around $600. I used to fly years ago when the FAA wasn't looking over your shoulder and you could fly in schools, parks and just about anywhere where there was room.
Having 3 different rates set on your radio with 60 percent expo is best for me..thumbs can get twichy for me sometimes and having rates to high with not enough expo has caused a lot crashes..
I got back into the hobby wanting a plane, but ended up getting a bunch of cars and an indoor heli. A good plane is very possible before the year's end but I'm having enough trouble trying to hit 100mph with my TT02.
got my eachine p40 a few days ago flew it for the first time the other day 1 its my first rc plane and 2 its my first time flying a plane was fun and stressfull was a bit windy than made it hard a little cant wait to get more experience and be able to fly something like the p51
I've had my Marlin for 2.5 years and it's a plane that goes out with me almost every time I go flying and never crashed. I live in the DFW area and fly at 600 ft ASL. I took the Marlin, along with some other planes on an extended vacation in Colorado. The Marlin is a heavy plane without much thrust at 7600 ft ASL. I crashed it 3 times and glued it back together before I was able to just tamely fly it up there. My Arrows Bigfoot was still stellar up there though. I also agree with you about the quality of Zeee packs. Originally I was buying them because they were 1) inexpensive and 2) delivered quickly from Amazon. As I started flying EDFs more, I thought I would purchase "higher quality" packs and everyone seemed to love Liperiors. The Liperiors do have good power, but every one of them has puffed up and I have never had one of the Zeee packs puff up on me I sent this video to Liperior and the response I got from them was to not overcharge or over discharge the batteries :eyeroll: th-cam.com/video/wK78Nwtn6I4/w-d-xo.html

I don’t think they are. Sadly. I just love my old Tactic set up a lot! Priced right, simple to use, very reliable! I’ve only ever lost range/ connection once in a decade of using it! I’m going to experiment with another brand that released a new radio recently to see how it performs. Will keep everyone posted down the road! 👍💯⚓️

I want to buy the P51 Mustang for my son, what additional things do I need to purchase for it to be complete and ready to fly? Can someone please help me out I need to order it for this 2024 Christmas gift. 11/26/24 thanks guys
@ well, I bought one last year off of Amazon but it was so crappy. It would glide for a second but that was it. The remote control didn’t do anything and as soon as it hit the ground the propellers broke. So technically yes, this will be his first one. Hes 9 so he can handle a bigger plan if I can find someone to help us, and no, I don’t have any experience with an tv plane.
I have not bought any Arrows planes yet, they seem overpriced to me. For example, Banana Hobby has the same 1100mm T-28 under their branding,2 different liveries, but with nav lights and a drag break for $189.90 compared to Arrows at $229.99. Both PNP and the same airframe for sure. Perhaps you can pick some up (Banana Hobby Products) and compare them on your channel?
I would say that they're similar quality. I bought the 1.1m Spitfire from BH and I'm impressed with that as well. I've thought about getting something else from them, but I've got to thin out my current hangar first.
The two arrows planes that i have bought now sit in my pile of spare parts. The glider broke a servo on launch and i have had other problems. I contacted customer service and they treated me like i was trash. I have 16 other airplanes and have been flying RC for years yet they treated me like i didnt know what i was talking about. Beware of Arrows!
Zee batteries terrible, hold only 60% of advertised power. I bought 4 and they all puffed up with just a handful of uses, I contacted them but never got a reply
Good flying, good videoing. Not flying yet, some day I will take the plunge, hopefully that will just be a euphemism & not a reality 🫣🫣😄😄🥴🥴🤭🤭. Have a great weekend Saylor's. ⚓️⚓️👍💛🧡💚👍🫣😄🥴🤭👍⚓️⚓️.
Go for it! Arrows Pioneer is great to get started and well below 250g so no registration required. Real fun plane to fly , I have flown mine many times and crashed it a few times , fly crash repair repeat!

Hi, how long can the marlin fly for with that battery? And can the marlin use a rechargeable battery?
As someone who has a marlin. It’s superb.
So do I, and it''s a great jet, especially for beginners
Arrows is amazing! I started out with the pioneer and did some customization to it now it flies like a umx timber x 😁 the only problem with hobby zone is they sell out fast! So you have to jump on something arrows fast!✌🏼
I have the Arrows Mig-29, F-15 and T-33. Each is very well made and they fly superbly. I highly recommend Arrows brand.
Flaps and retracts, although should be a standard, is nice to see on a model that size. The mustang I mean, of course.

Abby and Nate y'all rock! Love the channel and content. Peace
used marlin for learn edf, it's perfect has it for more than 1.5 year now, still fly it for warmup

@capnhardway I have the xk a280 P51-D MUSTANG and it is awesome but I wanted this one lol ✌🏽

Hi it would be nice if you tested something that comes ready to fly with Radio gear and batteries
what slow flying, relaxed flying RTF arrows plane would you recommend?
need something easy to fly with safe technology.
How does it compare to the FMS Futura 64 on cost and flying ?
Nice vid!
😮I need those shoes in size 11 🤠🤘
Other than the plane and batteries, how much $$ is the receiver?
I would like to talk to you two about some options if that would be possible
Two for the price of one review, LOL. I'm a sucker for a P51 Mustang. s always my friends a great review!
My b-day is on the 15th and I can’t wait to get a carbon cub
I loved my Arrows BAe Hawk (50mm) until Vector slammed it into the ground. I liked my Ronald McDonald T-28 until the nose gear froze on a soft landing and no longer works.
I still think FMS makes the best planes as my Yak-130 (6S) has trailing link gear and very robust retracts as well as a superior power system. I have not had any issues with any of my FMS planes at all.
I do not own an Arrows plane. After seeing your videos I am interested in them
I want 2 of each please 😁
I don't yet have any Arrows planes. That P51 might need to be my 1st warbird 👍
Did I hear you use tactic reicvers, if so do you know if they are making new ones?
I don’t think they are. Sadly. I just love my old Tactic set up a lot! Priced right, simple to use, very reliable! I’ve only ever lost range/ connection once in a decade of using it! I’m going to experiment with another brand that released a new radio recently to see how it performs. Will keep everyone posted down the road! 👍💯⚓️
Can you set up SAFE with an AR630 on the Marlin?
Yes
At what height we can fly it&duration(range).? 👍
Abby: "stall!"
You dont need a stall warning when you have someone there to say it.
Is that a private airstrip you are flying from?
Passando pra prestigiar aquele super Like Tmj

No way that jet is only $200, How could it be so cheap??!!
Parts supply is horrible with Arrows planes. Waiting since August for Marlin parts. Short of purchasing a whole second plane, no thank you....
I don't have any because I'm so broke I can't pay attention!

I contacted customer service and they treated me like i was trash. I have 16 other airplanes and have been flying RC for years yet they treated me like i didnt know what i was talking about. Beware of Arrows!
🤚
Zee batteries terrible, hold only 60% of advertised power. I bought 4 and they all puffed up with just a handful of uses, I contacted them but never got a reply
To expensive to ship to were I live cost more then the plane
Arrows RC models are better than FMS models. I have three Arrows planes, they’re quality…
No offense intended, but a lot of Arrows products are produced by FMS. Hint, you always get one more screw or bolt than you actually need.
650$ for a low cost beginner plane is wild
I'm a jet plane flyer.😂
😂bigfoot on 4s and 9" prop, flys better than the timber X
The P-51 is the winner here ....🚫Sports Jets with no retracts👎
Don’t forget to register your airplanes
How bout some crawler videos.
How about search for crawler videos instead of begging for them in the comments of an RC plane video?
@@Echozero4 how bout shutting up
@@sci-fyguy7767 lol you sure told me. Learn to fly instead of scooting around in a toy car.

I BUY AND NEVER FLY AIN'T EASY FOR EVERYONE
